Top 150 Quotes From Iris West

Killer: Not so scary without your bling now, are you?
[she creates an icicle and prepares to stab Amunet]
Iris: Stop! Caitlin, stop.
Killer: I'm not Caitlin. And I'll never be free unless she dies.
Iris: No, it's the opposite. You are free right now. But if you do this, you will always be a killer. Killer Frost, Caitlin, you don't have to be one or the other. You get to decide who you are.
Killer: [dropping the icicle] Get out of here.
Amunet: You ruined this for me today. And one day soon, I promise you I will ruin something for you.

Iris: There have been reports of some sort of animal down in the sewers.
Cisco: Mm. Alligators. C.H.U.D.s. R.O.U.S.es. Am I the only one who watches movies around here?

[Iris finishes updating her blog and the Flash appears]
Iris: How did you...? I literally just hit SEND.
The: Speed reading.

The: I've got to run.
Iris: I bet you say that to all the girls.
The: What other girls?

Barry: You said you know who Savitar is.
Abra: I know everything about the God of Speed, hallowed be his name.
Iris: Like what?
Abra: That he's unstoppable, that he was the first speedster, and that you defeat him, but not until after he takes what matters the most to you... Iris West.
Iris: Tell me is who he is, now!
Abra: I don't think so. It's frustrating isn't it, knowing that you're going to die unless I give The Flash what he wants. All that power, all that speed, and yet you're still slow.
Joe: This isn't a game or a trick. This is about my daughter's life.
Abra: And it's my life if you hand me over to that collector. It's simple. Let me out, and I'll tell you who Savitar is. Give me to Gypsy, and Iris dies. The decision lies with you, Barry.

Ralph: Oh, chicks with white hair. Hot.
Barry: Why is Killer Frost here?
Iris: Guys, she has something that she wants to tell you. And you all should listen.
Ralph: [disappointed after she turns back into Caitlin] Oh, it's just Caitlin.
Caitlin: I can explain everything.

Iris: I'm glad you invited Caitlin and Cisco.
Barry: They're cool, right?
Iris: They saved your life, Barry. That makes them the coolest people I've ever met.

Joe: So for the millionth time, I'm lost on all this time travel stuff. What happens now? With Savitar? Iris didn't die. That changes things, right?
Barry: I mean, since that Iris didn't die, future me never goes down that same dark path. I never create time remnants to fight Savitar.
Iris: And if future you never creates these time remnants, then Savitar himself is never born.
Julian: Precisely. Once the time paradox catches up with him... He'll be erased from existence.
Joe: But I saw him. He didn't disappear.
Julian: Not yet.
Barry: But he will, Joe.
Joe: Any guess how long that's gonna take?
Barry: Maybe a few hours?
Joe: He can do a lot of damage in a few hours.
Iris: Well, we can't just sit around and wait for Savitar to disappear.
Julian: But Savitar won't become Savitar if he's erased.
Barry: Not unless he pulls off whatever he's got in mind before the paradox hits him. He stole the bazooka for a reason.
Joe: Yeah, why?
Barry: I don't know, but remember, he's been planning this for centuries. He wants to be a god. He must need the bazooka, and Caitlin, to achieve his goals.

Cisco: Every time we try to do something right, it goes horribly wrong.
Wally: We're cursed.
Iris: Maybe we should burn some sage.
Barry: Guys, we're not cursed.
Dr. Harry Wells: You're not cursed. You should be cursed at.
Cisco: Okay, why should we be cursed at?
Dr. Harry Wells: You should be cursed at because you opened the Speed Force without consulting me.
Barry: Okay, I don't think we need to rehash...
Cisco: All right. Okay, I did consult you, and you're the one who gave me the calculations in the first place.
Dr. Harry Wells: Yeah, I told you not to use them without consulting me. I said "Ramon, don't use the calculations without consulting me."
Barry: Guys.
Cisco: Yeah, yeah, I heard you. I didn't see the need for that.
Dr. Harry Wells: And that's why you should be cursed at.

[Wally gets his Kid Flash costume]
Barry: Welcome to the team. Kid Flash.
Wally: Are we really calling me "Kid Flash"?
Iris: Yeah, I think we are.

Dr. Harry Wells: I told you. I know how to contain the explosion.
Barry: Really?
Dr. Harry Wells: Yes.
Barry: [laughs] You know how to contain a dark matter explosion that, last time, just radiated all of Central City? Y-you tried this on your Earth, remember? Didn't go so well.
Iris: And even if you could contain it, I thought you said that Barry couldn't tap into the Speed Force anymore.
Dr. Harry Wells: It wasn't connected the first time he got his powers. Look, I have your Wells's data. The Harrison Wells from this Earth, I have his science.
Dr. Harry Wells: [to Barry] I know what chemicals need to be in your body. I know how the lightning needs to bond with the dark matter from the Particle Accelerator explosion. I can recreate the circumstances to get you your speed back.

Iris: Well, if you keep getting no for an answer, stop asking questions.
Detective: I say that! You're quoting "me" to me?
Iris: What can I say? You are a very smart man.

Iris: You need to throw a lightning bolt.
The: At what?
Iris: Yourself.
Joe: You want him to do what?
Iris: It might short the suit out, give him back control.
Cisco: Or it might set off the self-destruct early.
Caitlin: Or it might stop his heart.
Iris: Barry... Barry, you need to listen to me, okay? We can do this.
The: Okay. No, I trust you, Iris.
Iris: Then run, Barry. Run.

[last lines]
Iris: This isn't fair.
Barry: I know.
Iris: We were supposed to have our happy ending. I'm ready to be Iris West-Allen.
Barry: You always will be. But you need to keep living your life. Keep growing. Keep loving. Keep running. For me. Promise me you'll run, Iris.
Iris: I promise.
Barry: I gotta go.
[Barry walks into the Speed Force and it closes, the lightning storm stops]

Barry: Zoom's still out there. We need to come up with a plan.
Cisco: The man can crack open breaches to Earth-2. I mean, if he can do that, what else can he do that we don't know about?
Barry: Right after he killed his time remnant, he told me I was "almost ready."
Iris: Almost ready for what?
Barry: I don't know.
Cisco: Yep. Classic psychopath. Why can't they ever just say what they want to do? We also have to figure out why I keep vibing Earth-2 being ripped to shreds.
Joe: Seriously.
Cisco: It's like I'm watching "Transformers" in 4-D, but, like, ten times more realistic and with much better acting.

The: You're not hearing me.
Iris: My hearing is fine. It's just selective.

Iris: Where's Mon-El?
Kara: You know what? It's a long story. But thank you for letting me bring my sister as my plus-one.
Iris: Oh, yeah, absolutely. I'm actually really excited to meet her.

Iris: Look, I have this friend, and he had something terrible happen to him when he was a kid. And his whole life, he's been telling stories about this impossible thing. And people laughed at him. And shrinks analyzed him. And he's been searching for an explanation ever since. But now, suddenly, it's like he's lost his faith. But you... you are proof that he wasn't crazy. Help me save my friend.
The: He's a lucky guy.

[shows her dad an action figure of The Flash]
Iris: I had to fight some old lady for the last one. They didn't have any Green Arrow dolls.
Joe: Don't nobody want a toy of that crazy man.

Joe: Oh, I get it.
Barry: What?
Joe: No. I do not approve.
Iris: Hi, Barry.
Barry: Hey.
Iris: Dad.
Joe: Iris. You think it's a good idea, dating someone I work with?
Iris: It's just a lunch. And truthfully, I wasn't even sure you still worked here.

Dr. Harry Wells: I think a better idea instead of playing Hoodlums and Holograms would be to rebuild the Particle Accelerator to get Barry's speed back.
Barry: Yeah, Wells, that's what you keep saying.
Dr. Harry Wells: That's right.
Barry: But look at what that explosion did to this city.
Cisco: Not to mention the last time we tried something like that we blew a hole in the universe and created, like, fifty portals to your Earth.
Iris: Which is exactly how Zoom and his henchmen got here in he first place.

Iris: Today, I was saved by the impossible. A mystery man. The fastest man alive. Then a friend gave me an idea for a new name, and something tells me it's gonna catch on.

Barry: Save me a bear claw?
Iris: Ooh, no promises, speedster. You whoosh, you lose.

Iris: Yeah, but he should go. Someone should try and get through to him.
Detective: Maybe his best friend?
Cisco: Joe, believe me, I've tried.
Detective: I meant her.

Joe: Did she have the baby?
Iris: Yes. His name is Wally. Wally West.
Joe: It's short for Wallace. That's what we were gonna name you if you were a boy.

Barry: So this was your plan all along, huh?
Hunter: Ever since the skies parted and showed me another world, with another speedster. Once I saw you, came here, figured out what I had to do.
Iris: How are you still alive? We saw you die.
Hunter: You did.
Cisco: So what was that? A speed mirage?
Hunter: [chuckles] Speed mirage? Uh, no. Even I'm not that fast. I knew that I couldn't be on two Earths at the same time, so I went back in time and, uh, met another version of myself.
Cisco: Your time remnant. Like the Reverse-Flash.
Hunter: I also knew that the only way to make Barry become faster was if you all witnessed your old pal Jay die.
Iris: When did you decide to do that?
Hunter: Oh, once you closed all the breaches, went to Earth-2. Believe me, getting my time remnant to agree to me murdering him took a bit of convincing, but once he saw the... well, the genius in my plan, he was all for it.

Iris: Another picture of The Flash came in. See?
Detective: That red blur? How do you know that wasn't photoshopped?
Iris: It wasn't. It's not a hoax or a mass hallucination. You know, every day, someone new accepts the impossible and believes in him. Why can't you?
Detective: I believe in what I can see... what I can touch... what I can feel. Which means I believe in you.

Iris: Uh... Barry... So Oliver Queen is the Green Arrow?
The: Yeah.
Iris: Oh, my God. He just got so much hotter.
The: Oh, my God.

Iris: [about the Flash] It's a man, okay? You know I'm really intuitive about this kind of stuff. Someone even posted a picture after being yanked from a car accident. It's a red blur leaving the scene. Here, what do you see?
Barry: [staring at Eddie's picture on Iris' cell phone] I see your boyfriend's calling.

Iris: Tony, turn yourself in before things get worse. It's not too late.
Tony: Yeah, it is. Cops are already looking for me, so get ready to cover the showdown of a lifetime, 'cause I'm not going out without a fight.
The: Good, 'cause you just found one.
Tony: You just won't stay dead. Come to save your little fan girl?
The: This is between us. Let her go.
Tony: Oh, I could, but I'd rather make her watch while I break every bone in your body.

Dr. Harry Wells: This is the list of meta-humans from my Earth. Ones that are known, anyway.
[shows long list]
Dr. Harry Wells: Particle Accelerator explosion was contained on my Earth. That didn't happen here.
Henry: Then why wouldn't we know about other meta-humans here?
Joe: Because of The Flash.
Iris: And now that everyone knows he's not around...
Cisco: They'll start coming out of the woodwork.

Iris: [narrating] Think about your best friend. It could be your wife, your father, maybe someone you grew up with. It's the person you can't wait to talk to at the end of the day, the person that knows everything about you, who roots for you. Now imagine your best friend had a secret. No, not a secret. A universe of secrets. Would you confront him? Would you stay silent? Either way, you know nothing will ever be the same again.

Barry: [about a photo of Ralph Dibny] That's him.
Iris: Oh. He's handsome in a square-jawwed Oliver Queen kind of way.
Barry: For real?
Iris: Babe, you know I've only got eyes for you.

Iris: You're still the cutest nerd I know.

Wally: Ever since she got here, she's been so weird with me. I-I don't know if it's because I have powers or if it's just me.
Iris: Wally, she's probably still just upset because her father's missing, right?
Joe: Yeah, it's hard to focus on other things when something like that is weighing you down.
Iris: Yeah, Wally. She'll be fine. Just give her some time, and then, you know, lock it down.
Joe: Uhh, lock it down, hmm?
Iris: Yeah. What, you think I didn't notice that your Facebook profile still says "single"?
Wally: What? I mean, technically, I'm still single.

Iris: Barry, I wish a year ago you had told me the truth.
Barry: So, what, you think that I should just tell her?
Iris: I think that if you are serious about being with her, you have to.

Iris: [excited] You did not tell me that you knew Oliver Queen.
Barry: [flatly] I know Oliver Queen.
Iris: Oh, my God. He's even more handsome in person, and his arms are, like, TWICE the size of yours.
Barry: Technically they're not twice the size.

Barry: You wanna grab a bite? I'm feeling a little famished.
Iris: After the Mongolian barbecue we had before the movie and the extra large popcorn you had at the movie? How are you not fat?
Barry: I've been jogging.

Iris: Can I help you, detective?
Detective: You can stop acting you can't stand me when your dad's around.
Iris: Aww. And I like having a boyfriend who isn't shot to death.

Cisco: There is no sign of any permanent structural damage.
Iris: Then why he can't remember anything?
Cisco: [lost for words] Julian?
Julian: He appears to be suffering from some sort of psychogenic retrograde amnesia.
Cisco: Amnesia.

Barry: Ever since I came back from the Speed Force, I have been constantly and genuinely happy. My friends are safe. Joe's gonna be a dad again. And next week, I get to marry the love of my life. I have nothing more to lose now than ever before.
Iris: Yeah, but what about when Cecile has the baby? Or after we get married, or even when we have our first child? You know as times goes by, there's even gonna be more for us to lose. And people are always going to come after us. You can't let that consume you, you just have to live in the moment and face it as it comes.
Barry: How are you not scared?
Iris: Because we're the Flash.

James: Well, hello. You know, I've been in prison for twenty years.
Iris: Then you'll know the routine when you get sent back.

Joe: Anybody got any good news?
Julian: [holds up a vile] Actually, uh, voilà.
Joe: What is that?
Julian: This, Detective, is the cure for Caitlin.
Iris: You're kidding. You figured it out?
Julian: Not by myself. With the help of... Caitlin's mother. This is experimental gene therapy. This? This will re-write Caitlin's meta-DNA. This will bring back... Caitlin.

Barry: You gotta stop writing about this guy. I mean, he doesn't even exist.
Iris: I saw him, Barry. He wears a red suit, like a uniform or something, with a lightning bolt on his chest.
Barry: [scoffing chuckle] I mean, Iris, come on. You were drinking last night at the bar.
Iris: I was not drunk, and I know what I saw. He wears a mask. I think he smiled at me.
Barry: Okay, first of all, if he is wearing a mask, that probably means he doesn't want people to know who he is.
Iris: It doesn't matter who he is. What matters is that people know that he's out there. What is wrong with you? This is important to me. Why can't you be more supportive?

Iris: So Eliza just evaporated from running too fast?
Caitlin: Looks like cellular degeneration, same as Jay's.
Joe: Jay warned us V-9 was dangerous. Least now we know why.

Caitlin: [Barry lets her out of the Pipeline] For a smart guy, that was an awfully dumb move.
Barry: Like I said, you're free to go.
Caitlin: What's the catch?
Barry: You have to kill me.
Iris: [watching the surveillance video] What is he doing?
Cisco: No, no, no. It's gonna be all right.
Caitlin: You want to fight, Flash?
Barry: No. I'm not gonna fight you. But if you want to leave this room, you're gonna have to kill me.
Caitlin: Don't think I won't.
Barry: Then do it.
[as her eyes turn blue, Caitlin creates an icicle with her powers and holds it up to stab him]
Barry: [after a pause] What are you waiting for? What's the big deal? Come on, live up to your name, Killer Frost. I want to see some killing. You want to be the villain. This is what they do. They kill their friends because nothing matters to them anymore, right?
[grabbing her wrist and moving the icicle closer]
Barry: Right? Come on. Kill me, Caitlin.
[she doesn't move]
Barry: You can't do it. You can't. Because underneath all that cold, you're still you.
[as she returns to normal, she drops the icicle and hugs him, tears in her eyes]
Caitlin: Barry...
Barry: It's okay. I got you. It's okay.

Iris: I've been trying to get answers from him. Where does he come from? How does he do what he does? But he dodges everything, literally with this super-speed power. When he moves, Barry, you-you don't even see him. He comes and goes in the blink of an eye, in a...
Barry: Flash?
Iris: In a flash. Yeah.

Barry: Actually, while I was away I had a chance to think about, you know, relationships, and how I'm not in one... and... you're not in one either... and you're my best friend, Iris.
Iris: You're mine, too. Why else would I be here?
Barry: Yeah, that's not what I meant. What I...
Iris: I know what you're gonna say, Berry.
Barry: I'm not sure you do.
Iris: Even though we pretty much grew up in the same house together, and we're... kind of like brother and sister, because we're NOT brother and sister, it can get... really weird and awkward to talk to me about girls, but I just want you to know that it shouldn't be awkward. There is nothing that I want more than for you to meet the right person that totally loves and adores you for the amazing guy that you are.

Dr. Harry Wells: He calls himself Rupture, another meta-human under Zoom's control from my Earth.
Iris: Great, so he's bringing more of his friends over.
Dr. Harry Wells: It's what I told you that he would do.
Cisco: Okay, well, Zoom must've lied to fake-Dante and told him I was the one who killed Reverb, 'cause dude wants me dead. We gotta do somethin'.

Iris: How do you do that?
Barry: Do what?
Iris: Stay positive in the face of overwhelming odds.
Barry: Because I plan on living a long life with you. Nothing's gonna take that away from me.

Joe: I don't suppose my home owners insurance covers a "Sharknado" attack.
Wally: I-I don't understand you people. Jaws busts through your house like the Kool-Aid Man, The Flash shows up, and y'all act like it's no big deal.
Iris: Yeah, well, we've had a lot of weird things happen in Central City over the past two years.
Wally: Weirder than a talking shark wearing pants?

[Iris looks at her reflection]
Barry: What are you doing?
Iris: Do these pants make my butt look big?

Iris: So, Barry, how was your trip? Did you find proof of the impossible in Starling City, or did you just make my dad mad for no reason?

Iris: [reading the future newspaper] "Iris West-Allen".
Barry: It changed back.
Joe: Does that mean what I think it means?
Barry: Yeah, Joe. The future's ours again.

Cisco: Looks like when you went down the thief also got disoriented too.
Barry: Maybe we both got whammied.
Iris: [entering the lab] Than you know how it feels. Hi, Barry. Or should I say The Flash.

Joe: [Phone buzzing] This is work.
[pause]
Joe: We can finish this talk
Iris: Talking.
[pause]
Iris: Yeah, that will be new.

Iris: Hey, so we ran the sketches you made us through the CCP database, and...
Joe: Her name's Becky Sharpe. She's twenty-four years old, no priors.
Barry: No priors? Then why is she in the database?
Joe: Because in the last three years she's lived in Central City, she's been rear-ended four times, her identity stolen twice.
Iris: A cat burglar literally burgled her cat.

The: Who the hell are you, huh? You think you can just come along and get to have whatever you want? What gives you the right?
Detective: What the hell are you talking about?
Iris: What are you doing? What has happened to you?
The: I feel fine.
Iris: You are not fine.
The: How would you know? Because you write about me? You don't know me! You don't know who I am. You never did.
Iris: I know that you have risked your life to help people, to save them! Some one who does that does not suddenly turn around and want to hurt people. Please.

Iris: They call you the Clock King, right?
William: A somewhat florid appellation, but I've grown to see the humor in it.
Iris: You're going back to prison.
William: Really? And - and how do you reckon?
Iris: Because the Flash is coming.
William: Oh.
Iris: Oh, where are you?

Iris: When I think of H.R., I'm reminded of a story that John Lennon once told. When Lennon was five years old, his teacher asked him to write down what he wanted to be when he grew up; Lennon wrote "Happy". His teacher said that he didn't understand the assignment, and Lennon said that they didn't understand life. H.R. understood life. He wasn't a genius, and he didn't have super speed, but when we needed him most, he was our hero. He was my hero.

Iris: Barry, we have a major problem.
The: [fighting King Shark] Yeah, fighting it right now.
Iris: No, no. It's about our wedding.
The: This is not the best time.
Iris: Well, the caterers need a final count tomorrow morning, and not everyone has RSVPed yet.
The: [insulted] Who hasn't RSVPed?

Iris: Barry, what is it?
Barry: It's just before right before Eliza disappeared, her lightning, it turned blue.
Cisco: Right. What if it's a side effect of the V-9?
Caitlin: Yeah, but Jay took V-9, and his lightning didn't turn blue.
Barry: About how fast was he running?
Iris: Not as fast as Eliza.
Barry: All right, so what if V-9 is what turns your lightning blue? I mean, that would explain why Zoom is so much faster than me.
Cisco: If that's true, then that means he's sick, right?
Dr. Harrison Wells: He's dying. That's why he wants your speed. He's dying, and he needs a cure.
Barry: Same as Jay.
Caitlin: No.
Cisco: Jay? No. See, he died right in front of us. Zoom killed him right in front of us.
Barry: Cisco, we've seen a speedster be in two places before.
Dr. Harrison Wells: Then I guess there's one way to find out.
Cisco: I guess now would a good time to tell you I've been vibing Zoom.
Dr. Harrison Wells: What? You... for how long?
Cisco: It started when we closed the last breach. And every time it's happened, I've been near that thing.
[looking at Jay's kettle helmet in a glass case]
Barry: [Barry smashes the glass case and takes the helmet and hands it to Cisco] We need to know.
Cisco: [vibes Zoom's identity is Jay] Oh, no. No, no...
[drops the helmet]
Caitlin: Cisco, what did you see?
Cisco: I saw Jay. He's Zoom.

Iris: I didn't think this hologram thing was gonna work, but so far, so good.
[high fives Cisco]
Cisco: I mean, I figured if they could get 2Pac rapping again at concert, we could definitely get The Flash running around Central City.

Caitlin: And S.T.A.R. Labs is now safer than ever. Increased security and surveillance.
Cisco: Recoded, double-firewalled electronic locksets. Nothing is getting through here without us knowing.
Iris: So people can't just waltz in and out of here.
Cisco: Exactly.
[a stranger walks in behind them, surprising them all]
Cisco: For real?

Iris: What's this?
Barry: A restraining order. I have to stay 500 feet away from Clifford DeVoe.
Iris: And are you going to?
[he stays silent]
Iris: Barry, this is not you. You've got to stop.
Barry: I can't.
Iris: You can't or you won't?
Barry: I don't know anymore. I've faced a lot of bad guys, people that would hurt the ones that I love, destroy everything good in the world and think nothing of it, but this guy, he feels more dangerous than all the others combined. And we still barely know anything about him. It scares the hell out of me, Iris.

Barry: I know who did this. It's Clyde Mardon. I know everybody thinks he died in a plane crash after the S.T.A.R. Labs explosion, but he is alive. All right, something happened to him that night. I... I think he can control the weather. The recent robberies, they all happened during freak meteorological events, and when I just confronted Mardon, the street was instantly enveloped in fog. Of course you don't believe me. You never believe me.
Joe: Okay. You want to do this now, out here? Fine. Mardon is dead. There is no controlling the weather, Barry - just like there was no lightning storm in your house that night. It was your brain helping a scared little boy accept what he saw.
Barry: My dad did not murder my mother.
Joe: Yes, he did! Your dad killed your mother, Barry! I am sorry, son, but I knew it, the jury knew it, now he's paying for what he did.
Iris: Dad, enough!
Joe: Unh-uh, Iris. I have done my best to take care of you since that night, and I have never asked for anything in return, not even a thank you, but what I do ask now is that you, for once in your life, see things as they are.

Iris: We need to go to whatever world they're in.
H.R. Wells: How are we gonna do that?
Iris: Look, he said if we loved them enough that we could save them, wherever they are. Cisco, you can vibe us there.
Cisco: I don't think it works that way.
Iris: You sent me into the Speed Force. You sent Barry and Wally to the future. You can do this, too.
J'onn: What is she talking about?
Mon: What's a vibe?
Cisco: I'll explain later.

Barry: All right, guys. I don't want any of you here right now.
Detective: Tough. You need your partners. You need your friends.
Iris: Barry, everyone in this room cares about you, but we also care about this city. We all want to make a difference, and that means fighting meta-humans, and that means working with the Flash. You can't deny us that. Not anymore.

Wally: I don't need a big sister.
Iris: I know. You're gonna need an undertaker.

Iris: So how long have you known about these Dominators?
Lyla: Since the '50s.
Joe: That was them. Redmond, Oregon. The government tried to cover it up. What? I watch Syfy channel.

Iris: I want you to stop holding the races.
Clark: [chuckles] Sweetheart, unless you could find me another way to make five grand a night, it ain't gonna happen.

Cecile: Did you kill anyone?
Killer: Some people lost their fingers and their toes, but... no, no one died.
Iris: And how are you here now?
Killer: While Caitlin sleeps, I am awake.
Felicity: Oh, my God! You're like The Incredible Hulk! That's - I said that with too much chutzpah.

Savitar: [speaking through Julian] Hello, Barry. It's been a while.
Barry: Savitar?
Savitar: None of you are on your knees. It's a smart move to bow before a deity.
Barry: You're not God.
Savitar: To be a god, you just have to make people believe you are.
Iris: No one believes in you.
Savitar: You should, Iris. I hold the power of life and death over all of you.
Caitlin: How do you know so much about us?
Savitar: I know you, Caitlin. Cisco, Joe, Wally. The fake Wells. I know your fears and I know your weaknesses. I know you better than you know yourselves. I know your destinies. One shall betray you. One shall fall. One will suffer a fate far worse than death. This is the knowledge I have for you. About your everlasting damnation.
Barry: Who are you?
Savitar: I am the future, Flash.
Barry: What do you want from us?
Savitar: Everything! Everything you took from me, I want it back. And I'm gonna take it back. Then, I will destroy you.
Barry: They why haven't you already? If you're all-powerful, then why don't you just gp ahead and kill is all know, be done with it? Because you can't.
Savitar: You did this to me. You trapped me in eternity. Your future self - you did this to me, Barry. And now the age of my revenge rises. My freedom is at hand. You will feel my wrath. The wrath of Savitar!

Iris: I don't understand. Everyday you guys figure out a way to help people. All of The Flash's powers and all of this equipment and you can't save Eddie and my dad?
[walks off disappointed, if not in disgust]

Joe: So how are we supposed to stop him?
Jay: The stone.
Barry: Jay's right, the stone has been the key to everything. It's - it's how he controlled Julian, it's how he created more metas.
Iris: So we destroy the stone and Savitar is gone for good.
Julian: It's impossible to destroy. It's been around forever, there's a reason for that.
Wally: Why don't we just bury it again, put it back in the ground where you found it?
Cisco: Mm-mm. "Jumanji".
Joe: Someone would just find it and we'd be right back where we started.

Barry: Why are you here, Snart?
Leonard: I got the Noel spirit, wanted to give you a little gift. Mardon broke Jesse and me out to kill you. Jesse's on board, of course. He's shaking with excitement. Me, I'm gonna pass.
Iris: Why? You grow a conscience?
Leonard: Mardon wants revenge, Jesse wants chaos. I'm just not invested like they are.
Iris: You mean there's no money in it for you?
Leonard: Was never much for non-profit work.
Barry: If you're not in with them, then tell me where they are.
Leonard: Nah, consider me more of a secret Santa. Besides, you and your friends love to solve a good mystery.
Barry: [scoffs] You are full of it, Snart. I think my friends and I saved your sister's life and you just can't stand owing me a marker. I hate to break it to you, but that - that right there is called honor.
Leonard: Go on, make your pitch. I can see you're dying to.
Barry: Help me stop them.
Leonard: Sorry, I'm not interested in being a hero.
Barry: Ha. Well, you're doing a pretty lousy job of being a villain this week.
Leonard: Merry Christmas, Barry.

Iris: Are you still gonna tell me that she's not into you? Look at that dress! And when I asked her the boyfriend question, she froze.
Barry: Yeah, you were particularly sly with that one.

Iris: So are you gonna do it?
Barry: It's just so... huge. It's the biggest decision of my life, and if I'm wrong, I can't undo it.
Iris: Why would you want to? I mean, you'd get to see your mom again, your dad, have a great career, even get married. Iris West-Allen, huh? I never really thought of myself as a hyphenator. Must be a 2024 thing.

Barry: Can't stop thinking about my dad's doppleganger. Seeing him, knowing that he's out there, that should've made it easier. It doesn't. It just made me miss him even more.
Iris: I can't even imagine how hard that must have been.
Barry: We just won. We just beat Zoom. Why does it feel like I just lost?
Iris: Because you've lost a lot in your life, Barry, more than most, but... maybe you and me, seeing where this thing goes, maybe that can give you something for a change.
Barry: That's all I've ever wanted to hear you say - and I wish that I was in a place where I could try that with you, but I feel so hollowed out inside right now. I feel more broken than I've ever felt in my life. If I'm ever gonna be worth anything to you, I need to fix what's wrong with me. I need to find some... some peace.
Iris: Barry, listen to me. You waited for me for years. You let me get to a place where this was possible, so I am telling you I am gonna do the same thing for you. Wherever you need to go, whatever you need to do, do it, and when you get back, I'll be here.
Barry: Okay.
Iris: I love you, Barry.
Barry: [they kiss] I love you, too. And I always will.

Joe: What is that thing?
Cisco: This can send electrical charges through the transmitters in his suit and, theoretically, it should jolt his memories.
Iris: You want to electroshock his brain?
Wally: Won't that fry it even more?
Julian: If we don't do that, all the people are gonna die.
Killer: Life's a game of chance.
Cisco: Okay, Barry, you're gonna feel something. It might hurt, might sting, might suck.
Barry: Wait, what?
Cisco: Probably all three.

Barry: Iris, it's not like I wanted to leave you. I had to put on a brave face, for everyone. But it was killing me inside. And I think part of why I didn't talk it through with you is I was afraid. I was afraid that you would tell me to stay. And I wouldn't have been strong enough not to.
Iris: Barry, how do you know what I'm going to say if you don't ask me? I am here to help you, especially when everything seems lost. But you have to let me.
Barry: But sometimes it's not about us. Or the team. Sometimes the weight of the whole city falls on my shoulders, and it's up to me to carry it. I'm the Flash.
Iris: See, that's what you don't get. When I put this ring on my finger, it wasn't just about you or me anymore. It's about us. You are not the Flash, Barry. We are.

The: I need you to stop writing about me.
Iris: There are a lot of people who need someone like you right now. To know that you're out there. I have so many questions. Where are you from?
The: [speeding down to her] I can't say.
Iris: Who are you?
The: I can't tell you that, either.
Iris: [watching him speed away] How can you do what you do?
[no response]
Iris: You're a terrible interview.
The: [speeding down to her again] There's more to this than you can understand. Just trust me, please. I need you to stop.
Iris: Can you stop? Running into buildings and rescuing people without them even knowing that you're there?
The: I don't do this for the glory.
Iris: So why do you?

Iris: [to verify a suspicion about Wally, Joe dropped and broke his coffee mug] Dad, do you really think that he's a meta-human?
Joe: Well, he got zapped by the Particle Accelerator and he was unconscious. It was worth a shot.
Iris: I gave you that mug.

Iris: Our entire lives, you couldn't scream loud enough that the impossible existed. And now it's actually happening in Central City. I have proof of it, and you don't want to know about it? That doesn't make sense, Barry. So when you're ready to tell me what this whole routine is really about, then we can talk.

Jesse: Biochem was one of my majors in college.
Barry: One of your majors? How many did you have?
Jesse: Five.
[seeing their expressions]
Jesse: What? Is that not common here?
Iris: Girl, no, that is not common anywhere.

Cisco: Okay, I'm gonna say it. Um, we don't think he's being just a little too...
Iris: Overconfident?
Cisco: Yeah.
Iris: Yeah, maybe it was his time in the Speed Force. I mean, he's acting like he's invincible now or something.
Henry: Yeah, like nothing fazes him anymore, which isn't...
Dr. Harry Wells: Realistic, no. Somebody needs to talk to him before letting his guard down gets him hurt or worse.

Iris: Where are you gonna go?
Killer: I know a guy who can breach me to another Earth. Start over. Escape Amunet. Be who I wanna be.
Iris: And that's Killer Frost, right?
Killer: Don't be cute, West. You can't stop me.
Iris: I wasn't planning on it. Look, I know you could kill me. Just like you could've killed Amunet tonight, or Cisco six months ago. But you didn't. There is a part of you that is good. And decent. You just don't know how to accept it.
Killer: You think you know me now?
Iris: No. But I do know what Caitlin looks like when she's scared. And you have that same look in your eyes right now. You're just as afraid of being Caitlin as Caitlin is of being Killer Frost.
Killer: If you still wanna have a hand for Barry to put a ring on, I suggest you move it.

Iris: Hey, dad, you're home early.
Joe: What were you doing at the bomb site last night? Don't deny you were there. Officer Vukovich saw you.
Iris: It's... complicated.
Joe: You can't be coming to every crime scene because you're worried about Eddie. He's a big boy, Iris.
Iris: I didn't go there to see Eddie. I... I went there to see the Streak.
Joe: The Streak. Hmm. Why is that?
Iris: My blog. I've been collecting Internet posts about the Streak sightings and writing about them.
Joe: Baby, there's no Streak.
Iris: Yes, there is. I saw him last night, dad. I looked right at him. Something incredible is happening in Central City. And I am gonna write about it. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get to work. Blogging about supernatural events...
[giving him a goodbye kiss on the cheek]
Iris: ...doesn't really pay well.

Barry: So if Becky can affect the particles around her in a positive way, then their connected particles start spinning negatively.
Caitlin: So when good things happen to her, bad things happen all around her.
Cisco: Great, she's got a good luck field.
Joe: She's a meta.
Iris: Well, except she can't be. I mean, she's only been in Central City for three years.
Caitlin: Yeah, so there's no way she was affected by the particle accelerator explosion.
Barry: Well, neither was Kilg%re. We saw firsthand what he could do.
Joe: Not to sound like a broken record, but where the hell are all these new metas coming from?

Iris: Last year, my fiancé died. Unexpectedly. One moment he was here, the next, gone. I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to him, to tell him everything that he meant to me, that he was my world, that he was loved. But today, I got to say goodbye to your mom. My mom. And it helped us both find peace with what happened to our family. Wally, don't make a mistake you're gonna regret the rest of your life. Go, see your mom, while you still can.

Detective: Iris, there really isn't anything else to say.
Iris: Are you kidding me? You're gonna end this relationship because some lunatic from the future told you that am destined to marry Barry? Well, I don't believe that, okay? I believe that we choose our own destiny. I decide who I love, and I love you. Whatever future Wells showed you, it is not my future. It's not our future. Please let me prove it.
Detective: This isn't about the future, Iris. It's about here. Now. Today. Ever since the very beginning, there's been three people in this relationship. You, me, and Barry.
Iris: That is not true.
Detective: You can deny it all you want. But Barry knows it. Joe knows it. And if I'm gonna be completely honest with myself, I knew. I always knew. I guess I just thought I could love you enough to change things. I'm sorry. But if you really do love me, you'll let this end.

Barry: You didn't change anything when I moved in with Cisco.
Iris: I, um, couldn't bring myself to do it. You know, we've been through a lot these last three years, but, um... getting stuck in a musical?
Barry: Music Meister... said that, you know, it could've been anything, that I created that world because...
Iris: You were watching them. Because of us.
Barry: You know, my mom used to always say that musicals have the power to make everything better.
Iris: Did it work?
Barry: Um...
[playing a song on his phone]
Barry: Can't say how the days will unfold/Can't change what the future may hold/But I want you in it/Every hour, every minute/This world can race by far too fast/Hard to see while it's all flying past/But it's clear now/When you're standing here now/I am meant to be/Wherever you are next to me/All I want to do/Is come runnin' home to you/Come runnin' home to you/And all my life, I promise to/Keep runnin' home to you/Keep runnin' home to you/And I could see it/Right from the start, right from the start/That you would be/Be my light in the dark, light in the dark/Oh, you gave me no other choice/But to love you/All I want to do/Is come runnin' home to you/Come runnin' home to you/And all my life, I promise to/Keep runnin' home to you/Keep runnin' home/Home to you/Can't say how the days will unfold.
[taking out Iris' engagement ring and getting down on one knee]
Barry: Can't change what the future may hold/But I want you in it/Every hour, every minute.
[speaking]
Barry: Iris West, will you marry me?
Iris: Yes.

Iris: [Barry has reluctantly asked Thawne to kill Nora again] It seems weird to wish you good luck.
Barry: I'm so sorry about all this.
Iris: Will I know when things change back? Will I feel it?
Barry: It'll be like it never happened.

Barry: [illustrating the significance of the particle accelerator] Just imagine that that dot is everything the human race has ever learned until this moment.
Iris: Does that include twerking?
Barry: [drawing a larger circle around it] That is everything we could learn from the particle accelerator. It's a whole new way of looking at physics. It will literally change the way that we think about everything.
Iris: You've gotta get yourself a girlfriend.
Joe: [approaching] Hey, leave him alone. He's working.

Kid: I can't find her, Cisco.
Vibe: [vibing in, out of breath] Oh, I gotta work out more. She's really stepped up her game.
Joe: Then let's turn up ours. I don't have eyes on her. Iris?
Iris: [on the computer at STAR Labs] Copy, I'm on it. Looking. Got her.
Kid: And?
Iris: Duck!
Kid: [looking up in the sky] I don't see no ducks.
Shawna: [appearing behind them and punching them to the ground] Peek-a-boo. Your only warning, boys; stay back.
Kid: [she disappears] She meant the other duck.
Vibe: Yeah, I cannot believe you actually thought she meant a "duck" duck.

Nurse: You can't be in here.
Iris: I'm family.
ER: Charge the paddles to 200.
Iris: [crying] Barry!

Joe: Is there any other way out of here?
Dr. Harry Wells: No, the breach room was designed to be sealed off.
Iris: All right, look, if it's me that he wants, I'll just lead him away.
Joe: No, you won't. You'll never even make it past that door. If he came back from the dead and still wants you, what makes you think he's gonna let you go now?

Iris: Dad, we have something, um, that we need to tell you. Dad, the thing is...
Joe: You two are dating. I know.
Iris: You do?
Joe: I'm a detective, remember? And both of you are lousy liars.
Detective: [relieved] So you're not mad?
Joe: Oh, I'm mad. If the doctor hadn't confiscated my gun, we'd be having an entirely different conversation.

Iris: [watching Cisco] Promise me, if we ever do get married, you will not do THAT dance at our wedding.
Barry: Oh, I can promise you that. I mean, not the wedding, the dancing. What?
Iris: I... I don't know. I just think it's weird that we're married in the future and on Earth-2.
Barry: I wonder what our married doppelgangers are doing tonight.
Iris: Oh, probably Earth-2's equivalent of "Netflix and chill."

Iris: Barry, not everyone is Harrison Wells. Besides, you defeated him because you trusted in people, because you believed in them. This team that you have here, they will follow your lead, they'll do what you say; but, if they think that you don't believe in them, it won't be long before they don't believe in you.

Minister: Welcome to you all. I'm honored to be presiding over the wedding of Barry Allen and Iris West. Although I don't know them well, I know that this is a good match. How do I know that? Well, because of you. Because of all of you looking out at their friends and their family, and seeing the joy on all your faces, seeing how happy you are for them. Tells me everything I need to know. It tells me that these two people deserve to be together. They deserve to be happy and fulfilled, and they deserve a long life together. And now to the standard housekeeping. Does anyone have just cause why these two should not be married? Speak now or forever hold your peace.
[the minister is blasted by a laser beam, and Earth X-ers enter]
Overgirl: Peace is overrated.
Iris: Oh, you've got to be kidding me.
Oliver: Nazis?
Oliver: I hate Nazis.

Barry: Holy winter wonderland. Took the words right out of my mouth.
Iris: Well, I guess Earth-19's Christmas is just like ours.
H.R. Wells: Some traditions are multi-versal.

Barry: I think the Mardon brothers are hiding on a farm. The fecal matter I found on the street, it was cow manure, which contained oxytetracycline. It's an antibiotic. There are only four farms in the area that still use it in their feed. Bet you'll find a really sweet Shelby parked at one of them.
Iris: Dad, seeing how Barry solved your poop problem, how about letting him go to S.T.A.R. Labs?
Joe: Fine, go.

Iris: Is this your way of telling me that you want satellite radio for Christmas? Look, I'm not mad at you.
Detective: Good, 'cause there no reason you should be.
Iris: Eddie, both you and The Flash care about protecting this city. You would both give your lives for it. You're more alike than you think, okay? He's not the bad guy.
Detective: How do you know so much about him, Iris?
Iris: He got in touch with me after I started the blog, and I've seen him a couple times.
Detective: A couple times? Why didn't you tell me about this?
Iris: Well, given the fact that I think he's a hero, and you want to put him in jail, do you really want to ask that question?
Detective: How could you ever think I would be okay with this?
[the Flash speeds up to the car and yanks Eddie from his seat and throws him to the ground]
The: I heard you've been looking for me. All this time, you've been trying to catch me, and I caught you first. Guess you haven't read your girlfriend's blog.

Leonard: Read your article on the disappearing middle class. Strong point of view. Nice prose style.
Iris: Yeah, well, who needs a Pulitzer when you have a homicidal maniac's seal of approval.
Leonard: Didn't Barry tell you? I had a rough childhood.
Iris: Everyone in this room had a rough childhood. Get over it.

The: The suit's still freaking out.
Iris: Well, get it off.
The: [trying to vibrate it off] No, I can't get it off.
Cisco: That would be the deadlock function I built in in case he ever got knocked out, so a bad guy wouldn't reveal his identity. It seemed like a smart idea at the time.

[Barry talks to the Speed Force, appearing before him in the likeness of Iris]
Iris: We thought you'd find this place and our appearance less upsetting, yet you seem upset.
Barry: My friends, my city... my whole world is in danger. Zoom is on a rampage with the power that he stole from me, and you are keeping me here.
Iris: You were given a rare and precious gift, and you rejected it.
Barry: No, I did not reject it. I gave up my powers to save someone's life - to be a hero. I nearly killed myself trying to get them back, when you brought me here, wherever here is.
Iris: That's not what we meant.
Barry: Okay. If you would rather have given these powers to somebody else, why did you give them to me?
Iris: Because you're The Flash, Barry.

[first lines]
Iris: [on her blog; voice-over] To understand what I'm about to tell you, you need to do something first. You need to believe in the impossible. Can you do that? Good. Because all of us, we have forgotten what miracles look like, maybe because they haven't made much of an appearance lately. Our lives have become ordinary, but there's someone out there who is truly extraordinary. I don't know where you came from, I don't know your name, but I have seen you do the impossible to protect the city I love; so, for those of us who believe in you and what you're doing, I just want to say thank you.

[first lines]
Iris: My name is Iris West, and I was supposed to marry the fastest man alive, but six months ago, he left. I promised him I'd run, so that's what I've been doing these last six months, running.

Iris: You were kidnapped for nearly two weeks and your first thought is to go back to work?
Detective: I just needed something constant in my life.
Iris: I thought that was us.

Iris: You look just like him.
Dr. Harry Wells: I'm guessing my counterpart did something to offend her as well?
Cisco: Her fiancé died because of him.

Eric: Everyone, welcome Iris West, our new cub.
Iris: Hi.
Eric: Anyone want to volunteer to be her mama bear? Mason, you picked a bad day to actually show up.
Mason: I don't nanny.
Eric: I lost the ability to make a joke back in '05. Today, you do.

Iris: So much for quiet and classy, right?
Caitlin: Not exactly the bachelorette party you had in mind.
Iris: Well, saving the city wasn't a bad way to spend the night.

Iris: Okay, I am ready to see this atom smasher... smashing.
Barry: There was a shooting today. Your dad needs me to process some evidence, which means I don't know if we're gonna be able to make it to S.T.A.R. Labs.
Iris: But seeing this thing turn on is like your dream. Your sad, little nerdy dream. Besides, I canceled a date for this.
Barry: [she takes a French fry from a bucket] Hands off my fries. Unbelievable.
Iris: I'm stress eating over my dissertation. We started selling cronuts at Jitters. I ate two today. If I don't graduate soon, I'm gonna be more muffin top than woman.
Barry: You look amazing.

Barry: I was actually thinking, um, that maybe it'd be fun if we all went away together for a few days. Just like a little Team Flash vacay.
Iris: And do what?
Barry: Bond. Reconnect.
Caitlin: You mean like a retreat?
Barry: Nah.
Iris: With trust exercises?
Cisco: Epic fail, party of six.

Detective: I've already missed the gym.
Iris: Ugh, no. Five more minutes. Come on, we never get to sleep in.
Detective: I know. But your dad hates tardiness. Buzzkill.
Iris: The buzziest.

Wally: So the plan isn't to just stay still and do nothing, right?
Barry: No.
Iris: Barry, you heard Lyla. You can't do this on your own.
Barry: I don't plan to.

Barry: Did you ask Julian to join Team... S.T.A.R. Labs?
Caitlin: I know he's an acquired taste, but...
Cisco: Yeah, well, he is Doctor Alchemy, the big bad's little bad, so...
Iris: Yeah, he... he gave Wally his powers.
Wally: That I don't mind.
Caitlin: Guys, I need his help. I'm sorry, Cisco, but these cuffs, they aren't cutting it. Every night when I go to bed, I'm afraid that I'm gonna wake up, be her. Maybe Julian can think of something that we haven't. Barry, when your mom was murdered, Joe and Iris, they took you in. Cisco, when Dante died, I slept on your couch to keep you company. The things we see, the things that we face, no one can do this alone; trying is the biggest mistake you can make. He hasn't told anyone that Barry is the Flash. I think we can give him a chance.

Iris: What is so important about this particle accelerator, anyway?
Barry: Harrison Wells' work in quantum theory is light-years ahead of anything they're doing at CERN.
Iris: You're doing that thing where you're not speaking English.

Gypsy: He calls himself Abra Kadabra.
Caitlin: As in hocus pocus?
Barry: He's certainly got a lot of tricks.
Gypsy: Yeah, we think he has some sort of nanotechnology built into his body... allows him to do extraordinary feats. Teleportation, telekinesis, you name it, and believe me, I have seen it all.
Iris: So that card trick he played on Barry, the water tank at Stagg, that's all some futuristic tech that he's masking as magic?
Caitlin: Well, it's Arthur C. Clarke's third law. "Any sufficient advanced technology" is...
Caitlin: "Indistinguishable from magic."
Barry: Before you showed up, he said he was from the future.
Joe: The future.
Gypsy: He is, 64th Century.
Iris: Great, another criminal from the future. Haven't we had our fill of those guys?

Joe: [pleased] That was a hell of an idea you had, bringing Henry here.
Iris: Well, he may not have his mother, but he's got two amazing fathers. Seemed like he needed both.

Iris: Looks like our meta isn't restricted to animating just stone.
Barry: No, but she does have some limitations. Out of all the artifacts in the office, she could only control the knight.
Caitlin: So then maybe her psychic imprint abilities are just restricted to effigies.
Ralph: [snorts]
Barry: It just means "statues."
Ralph: Yeah, I don't know. Sounds kinda dirty.

Iris: We just heard from Singh. You quit? What - what is going on?
Barry: I, um... didn't really have a choice.
Iris: What do you mean, you didn't have a choice?
Joe: Julian. You quit, he keeps his mouth shut about Caitlin.
Iris: That son of a bitch.
Barry: I don't know. I mean, he said I couldn't do something like protect Caitlin and still be a good CSI, and maybe he's right.
Iris: No, he's not. Barry, you are an incredible CSI, and no one in this building cares more about helping people find justice than you. And that was long before you were The Flash. This lab - it's your life.
Barry: You're my life. Both of you. And Wally and Caitlin, Cisco. If these past few months have taught me anything, it's that I would give up everything I have to keep you all safe. No regrets.
Joe: Every time I think you've run out of ways to be a hero, you show me another one.

Iris: Looks like someone tossed this place.
Barry: Yeah. Probably the same guys that hung Dibny off the roof.
Iris: Why do you think?
Barry: I dunno. Guy like that probably has a long list of people that wanna toss him off rooftops.

Iris: Who is that guy, and what is he so proud of? So he caught a mugger?
Barry: He's a transfer from Keystone. Started a few weeks ago. Eddie Thawne.
Iris: Oh, that's detective pretty boy. That's what my dad calls him.

Cisco: So, the reason you didn't have your powers is because there was a dampener in the mask. You see?
Jay: I don't want to see this thing ever again.
[vibrates his hand through the mask, breaking it in half]
Cisco: So your powers are back.
Joe: I see Jay - excuse me - Hunter stole your color scheme too.
Jay: He stole a lot of things that were mine, except for that. That's, um - that's all him.
Iris: He said it was his father's from the war.
Dr. Harry Wells: Ironically, on my - on our Earth - this helmet stood for hope.
Jay: Yeah?
Dr. Harry Wells: Yeah.
Jay: Maybe I can continue on that sentiment, take something from him, for a change, make it my own.
Caitlin: It suits you.
Jay: Thank you, all of you, for saving me from Zoom, especially you, Flash.
Barry: You're welcome, Flash.
Jay: Now all I have to do is find my way home.
Wally: And where's that?
Jay: I think you would call it Earth-3.
Cisco: Uh-huh. Well, I can get you to Earth-2.
Dr. Harry Wells: My daughter and I can help you with the rest.
Jesse: We can?
Dr. Harry Wells: Yes, we can. We're going home.

Iris: People just want to thank the man who saved Central City.
Barry: Well they can't, 'cause that's not me. You should know that better than anyone.

Dr. Martin Stein: Gather around, everyone, please. Looking at all of you, thinking how far we've all come, and remembering those who are no longer with us, I'm reminded of a Hebrew word used during times of graduation. "Kadima." It means forward.
[raises glass as a toast]
Dr. Martin Stein: Forward!
Detective: Forward.
Iris: Forward.
Cisco: Forward.
Caitlin: Forward.
Henry: Forward.
Barry: Forward.

H.R. Wells: Tell us everything you see right now.
The: Mayhem. And the monster.
Iris: Okay, so what's the plan?
H.R. Wells: Great question, Miss West. So we fashioned just a carbon fiber rope, but correct me if I'm wrong, we never actually discussed how he was gonna use that rope, did we?
The: Guys.
Cisco: Barry, we're gonna do "Empire."
H.R. Wells: "Empire of the Sun", Barry.
Cisco: What? "Empire Strikes Back."
H.R. Wells: What? "Empire Strikes Back", Barry.
Cisco: Just take it down like it's an AT-AT.
H.R. Wells: Just like an AT-AT.
Caitlin: "Bigger they are, the harder they fall." Even I've seen "Empire."
H.R. Wells,63773: I like that.
The: All right, here we go. I've always wanted to be a Jedi.

Joe: [as Barry explains to Wally how he created his time remnant] Is that what I look like when they're... start talking about science?
Iris: Pretty much.

Barry: Look, I don't know, I guess our wires have gotten crossed a few times the last few days, but I think that hardly rises to the level of a crisis. After everything we've been through together, you and me, we're Barry and Iris. we're the Gold standard. I am so in...
Iris: Then how could you leave me? You left me, Barry. You just left me. Standing there, alone.
[getting emotional]
Iris: How could you do that?

Wally: No one here is eager to get their picture in the paper, you got me?
Iris: In which part of the paper? The part where they put the mug shots or in the back, in the obituary section?
Wally: ...I don't need a big sister.
Iris: I know, you're gonna need an undertaker.

Barry: We're gonna need all the help we can get. Can you talk to Joe, see if he can rally CCPD?
Iris: Yeah, yeah, I'll let him know that an army of sentient gorillas is about to storm the city. He's gonna love that.

Cecile: Okay, so, break it down. How did it happen?
Iris: Um... we were at the apartment, and, um, Barry sang to me. And then he proposed.
Cecile: Oh, my God, that's so romantic. You sing?
Barry: Not as good as Joe.
Joe: Shut up, Barry.

Barry: So what I don't know is how you got your speed.
Wally: Oh, okay, so before I went on the straight and narrow, I used to drive illegal cars.
Barry: Uh-huh.
Wally: I was messing around with a new nitro formula to get my engine revving faster. Then one night, I'm racing in a thunderstorm, my car got struck by lightning, and it must have mixed with the formula because - boom! - I was in a coma for nine months. Then I woke up, I was the fastest man alive - The Flash.
Barry: More like Kid Flash.
Wally: Don't call me that.
Iris: I call you that.
Wally: Okay, how about no one calls me that?

Reverse: Just so we're clear, after I kill you, I'm going to kill them, and then I'm going to kill your father. I always win, Flash.
[gunshot fires, Eddie has shot himself]
Iris: Aagh! Eddie! Oh, my... !
Joe: Eddie! What did you do? What did you do? What did you do?
Detective: No such thing as a coincidence.
Barry: What's happening?
Reverse: [dissolving] Cisco, help me.
Cisco: Eddie's his ancestor. If Eddie dies, he'll never been born, and... He's being erased from existence.

Norvok: [to Caitlin] Amunet wants you.
Iris: Uh, Caitlin, do you know him?
Norvok: You need to come with me.
Caitlin: I'm not going anywhere with you.
Cecile: Please tell me that this is just part of his act.
Felicity: If it is, it's taking too long. Take it off!
[Norvok's eye pops and drops into Felicity's drink]
Felicity: Gross! I mean take off your pants, not your eye!

Iris: Oh, now you show up.
The: I'm sorry I wasn't there for you today. It couldn't be helped.
Iris: It's okay. A girl's gotta be her own hero every now and again.
The: I promise I'll never be late again.
Iris: My best friend is always saying that, and he is always late.
The: You're worth being on time for.

Iris: All these months, you were trying to save me from him. Look at that; I saved you.

Iris: I forgot this place existed.
Barry: Yeah. The original Wells used to call it his Time Vault. I've been coming down here a lot lately; I guess I've become as obsessed with the future as he once was.
[he shows her the newspaper article from the future]
Barry: After Flashpoint happened, this article reappeared.
Iris: "Flash Missing. Vanishes in Crisis". Julie Greer, April 25, 2024. I don't...
Barry: The byline used to read "Iris West-Allen". The future's changed.
Iris: So maybe I quit my job.
Barry: Yeah, that's what I'd hoped at first, too, or something. But, I... look, Iris, I'm sorry I didn't tell you this sooner. When I threw the Philosopher's Stone into the Speed Force, I accidentally ran to the future. I saw Savitar murder you. And I saw myself, and I wasn't fast enough to save you.

Iris: I watched you die, your heart kept stopping
Barry: It's still beating
Iris: [Feeling his heartbeat] It's really fast

Iris: Some people are calling it 'The Metapocalypse,' the days when Central City was overrun by an army with powers beyond imagination. But in these dark times, we must never forget our own strength, our own power to fight back. That it is only in the blackest of nights that we can truly see the light, and know, for sure, we are not alone. We are never, ever alone.

Iris: Barry, Girls don't just hop on trains and travel hundreds of miles to see someone that they don't like.

Barry: Imagine that this line is time, okay? I went back in time, stopped the Reverse-Flash from killing my mom. In doing so, I created an alternate timeline, a whole new existence where you're Kid Flash...
Wally: The Flash.
Cisco: Kid Flash.
Barry: And Cisco's a billionaire.
Cisco: So you're saying there's a timeline out there where I'm not rich? Boy, that's a glitch in the universe.

John: Where are you taking me?
Iris: Frankie is coming for you. As much as it pains me to help an abusive dick like you, I can't let you die.

Barry: There's something I need to tell you. I confronted DeVoe.
Joe: Oh, come on, Barry. He could get you arrested!
Barry: No, he won't. He wanted me to come.
Caitlin: How do you know?
Barry: Well, for starters, he knows I'm the Flash.
Caitlin: So you were right all along.
Cisco: We didn't believe you.
Joe: I'm sorry.
Barry: Don't be. DeVoe's been playing all of us.
Dr. Harry Wells: How?
Barry: It's his powers. He has an intelligence beyond anything we could've imagined. He's orchestrated everything that we've encountered. He's moved us like chess pieces in a game we didn't even know we were playing.
Iris: How do we stop someone who has super intelligence?
Cisco: We're pretty smart.
Dr. Harry Wells: Maybe we're not.

Iris: And we're not exactly catching bad guys at our old rate. One out of every three metas have we've fought in the last six months have escaped.
Wally: Temporarily, yes, but Team Kid Flash is on the case.
Joe: Son, I love you, but ain't nobody feeling Team Kid Flash.
Cisco: It's, like, too many syllables.
Iris: Okay, guys, maybe a little less fooling around and a little more taking things seriously. It's up to us protecting this city, right? Because there's no one else.

Iris: Flash. Be great to call you by your real name.
The: You mean like "Ralph?"
Iris: Is your name Ralph?

Barry: Sorry I missed Christmas shopping with you.
Iris: It's okay. I have everything I need.

Eobard: Well... if it the isn't the future Mrs. Allen.
Iris: Barry told me not to listen to anything you say.
Eobard: Oh. That's just bad advice, 'cause I'm the answer man. I am the answer to all your prayers. All you need to do is ask me, Barry.
Barry: We need to go back in time. To that night.
Eobard: To do what?
Barry: You know what I need you to do.
Barry: Yeah, but I want to to hear you say it.
Barry: I need you to kill my mother.
Eobard: With pleasure.
Barry: I hate you.
Eobard: And I hate you. And I sometimes wonder which of us is right.
