[first lines]

Boston: Great. So, we've established you know nothing about art.
Patterson: [Patterson chuckles] I...
Boston: The buyer is going to want to inspect all of the paintings, so if I'm going to restore this one, I need to match it to the others. Light damage, dust accumulation, pigment fail. They need to be uniform, so why don't you show me how special you are special agent whatever, by getting me my scanner and rounding up all the other paintings so I can get started doing the thing that none of you know how to do with not enough time to do it. How about that?

[seeing her look]
Edgar: What?
Tasha: A bullet? This was a cannonball. And no matter what that test says, you still have to deal with this problem.
Edgar: It was a couple-day bender. I'm over it.
Tasha: You might be over the drugs. You are not over the reason you used them.
Edgar: Jones is dead, Freddy's gone. I can flush the coke.
Tasha: Reade.
Edgar: I appreciate everything you've done for me. I really do, you know that. This was a wake-up call. I'll be okay.
Tasha: Talk to Weller. Take some time off. Get some help.
Edgar: I don't need help, Tasha.

Gord: [Rich Dotcom takes a drink] Mm! Did they pat you down? Not that that matters, 'cause I'm sure you could probably kill somebody with a spoon. Heck, you probably don't even need the spoon.
Gord: [Rich Dotcom looks and smiles at Weller's stern face] So bad-ass.

[Agent Reade asks Agent Zapata if she's okay]

Tasha: But if Fischer's looking for a weakness...
Edgar: Everybody knows you bomb tests. I'm the one that should be worried.
Edgar: [Zapata stares at Reade] Yeah, Zapata, I'm - I'm the mole. That's what I came in here to tell you.
Tasha: [Zapata rolls her eyes] Stupid.

[Agent Weller meets Jane Doe for the first time in questioning]
Kurt: I'm Special Agent Kurt Weller. I'm the lead agent on your case.
Jane: Please tell me you know what's going on. Who am I?
Kurt: We don't know yet.
Jane: All of these tests and you don't know anything?
Kurt: We know that you're telling us the truth. We're certain of that now.

Tasha: Reade's back.
Patterson: Yeah? How's he doing?

Kurt: Only sometimes, they lose them.

[Jane Doe talks to Agent Zapata about Gibson's killing]

Tasha: I think terrible people do terrible things. And the good people stop them.

[Jane Doe is questioned by a Polygrapher]
Polygrapher: Have you ever directly or indirectly been involved with or assisted a terrorist organization?
Jane: How many more of these are there?
Polygrapher: Try to limit your answers to 'yes' or 'no'.
Jane: It's the same answer every time. I don't know. I don't know what's going on. I don't know what's happening to me, and I don't know how else to tell you that.
Polygrapher: [Jane begins to pull off the wires] Hold on. Wait a second. Miss
Jane: Miss What? Miss Who? I don't have a name. I let you people poke me, prod me, scan me. I'm done. Okay? I want to speak to someone in charge.
Polygrapher: Let's just take a deep breath...
Jane: [Jane yells] I want to speak to someone in charge!

[first lines]

Juliet: [Dr. Tunnel walks but begins to stumble] Walter...
Dr. Walter Tunnel: [Dr. Tunnel starts to cough up blood from under his suit] Juliet?

[Kurt Weller fights with his sister Sarah Weller]
Kurt: Do you know how dangerous my job is? The risks that I have to take?

Sarah: Kurt, you don't need to protect everyone...
Sarah: [Kurt yells] That's my point, Sarah!
Sarah: What is your...
Kurt: [Kurt continues yelling] I can't protect everyone! Do you know how much it takes! It takes all of me! It takes everything from me!
Sarah: [Sarah whispers] Kurt, what's going on?

Tasha: We seized a huge cache of automatic weapons, demolition charges, nitrogen fertilizer, and diesel fuel.
Patterson: Wisnewski isn't a mild-mannered farmer. He's using his farm as a domestic terrorist training camp.
Kurt: So he's making an ANFO bomb?
Jane: ANFO?
Edgar: Aluminum Nitrate Fuel Oil explosive. Same type of bomb they used in Oklahoma City.

[CDC Deputy Director Rebecca Fine is on the run with her unsuspecting husband, when the two are pulled over by police]

Ben: What are you talking about?
Rebecca: I'm so sorry. But this will be faster.
Ben: [Rebecca pulls out a pistol and aims it to her husband's chest] Rebecca, what are you...
[Rebecca pulls the trigger and then aims the gun up under her chin, pulling the trigger]

[Agent Zapata wonders why she's out in the field with Agent Weller instead of Jane Doe]
Kurt: You volunteered for it.
Tasha: So did Jane.
Kurt: I trust your training. Jane's still a wild card.
Tasha: Is that really why I'm here and she's not?
Kurt: You got something to say, just say it.
Tasha: You're protecting her. She's more than just an FBI asset to you. It is one thing if you won't admit it. It is something else if you don't even know it.

[Agent Zapata tells Agent Reade what he should do about Sarah Weller]
Tasha: Look... I know this is none of my business. I think you're making a mistake with Sarah. You were really happy with her. Like, happier than I've ever seen you. If I were you, I would hold on to that.
Edgar: You really think it's that easy? You ever wonder why all of us are single? We chose this job for a reason, that's who we are. We're not meant to go home to happy wives with husbands and kids. It doesn't work that way with us.

Eleanor: So you're finally selling this place, huh?
Kurt: Well, don't have much of a choice. Searching the world for your missing wife and the man that has a bounty on her head? Costs a lot of money, that I don't have.

[Agent Weller tells Jane Doe the two of them might have a connection]
Kurt: Do you recognize me?
Jane: Why would I - I don't even recognize me.
Kurt: Dr. Borden believes if you encounter familiar stimuli, it may trigger a memory.

Kurt: Because my name - Kurt Weller - Is tattooed on your back.
Jane: What's happening to me?
Kurt: I don't who you are, ma'am. But maybe, somehow, you knew me.
Jane: I don't understand any of this.
Kurt: I know this is overwhelming. Please try. Something may come back to you.
Kurt: [Jane raises her left hand over Weller's hand, and her right hand over Weller's face, he waits before lowering her hand down] Anything?
Jane: [Jane looks into Weller's eyes] No.

[CIA Agent Allison Knight informs the FBI about Rich Dotcom's cooperation]

Allison: He got his ass kicked in prison.
Kurt: [Weller chuckles] Sounds about right.

[David gives some insight to Patterson about her previous boyfriends leaving]
David: You know why it didn't work out with those other guys? Because it didn't.
Patterson: That's - Whoo! Insightful.
David: Hey, just because it hasn't worked out in the past doesn't mean it can't work out in the future. Sometimes you got to take a leap.
Patterson: I'm just not built that way.
David: I know. But I am. What a fine-balanced couple we make.
[Agent Patterson laughs covering her mouth]

Jane: You didn't have to...
Kurt: Yeah, I did. It could've been you in that body bag.
Jane: He was innocent. He never wanted any of this.
Kurt: Someone puts my team at risk, or you at risk, I don't second guess.
Jane: Things can be more complicated than they seem.
Kurt: In this job, there are good guys and there are bad guys. It's not that complicated.

[Chief Inspector Fischer asks for a cup of Turkish coffee and receives something less]

Bethany: Weller...
Kurt: You taught me how to do this job. Everyone here looks to me for what to do. I used to look at you. That's gone. I can't trust you anymore.

[Agent Zapata comments on Agent Reade's bowtie]
Tasha: What's with the bowtie, Bill Nye?

Jane: [looks and points at the Chinese characters on the screen] Hey wait... what is this right here, I haven't seen this one yet
Patterson: Oh, that's because it's behind your left ear, it's only about a inch big and I sent it off...
[Jane starts to speak in Chinese and the team looks puzzled]
Kurt: You speak Chinese?
Jane: That's an address and date... today's date

[Allison Knight tells Agent Weller that he has to stop caring for everyone]
Allison: This thing that does have to stop though... is you always worrying about everyone and everything.
Kurt: What are you talking about?
Allison: I saw that look on your face when I brought you that muffin this morning. That was not a normal human reaction when the girl you like brings you breakfast.
Kurt: I was genuinely happy to see you. And the muffin.

Jane: What is this place?
Kurt: I think it's an old sanitorium where they used to keep tuberculosis patients in the 1900s.
Jane: Sounds cozy.
Kurt: Yeah.
[approaching a nearby door with a keypad and placard underneath]
Kurt: "The simplest answer gets you through this door. Be smart: you only get one try. No more."
Jane: It's a math problem. "If two boings plus four flarps equals six, and six boings plus eight flarps equals ten, what is the square root of boing over flarp?". It'd be really nice to have Patterson right now.
Kurt: I know.
Jane: Maybe we should just guess.
Kurt: Wait. Jane.
[taking the door handle, he gently pulls it, revealing the door is already unlocked]
Jane: The simplest answer gets you through the door.
Kurt: See? Told you I was great at puzzles.

[last lines]
Roman: Weller.
[holding a gun as Weller advances on him]
Roman: Easy. Easy. Easy.
Kurt: What are you doing here?
Roman: I need a favor. Some help with the tattoos.
Kurt: What are you, insane?
Roman: Maybe. But you are gonna help me.
Kurt: If I don't?
Roman: I'll tell Jane what happened in Berlin.
Kurt: [pause] What do you need?

[Agent Patterson reads the blood results to Jane Doe having a match to Taylor Shaw's DNA]
Patterson: I ran it three times with three different samples. You "are" Taylor Shaw.
[Jane Doe and Kurt Weller freeze in silence]

[Agent Patterson finds out that David left her a scavenger hunt for the tattoo he solved]
Patterson: You organized a scavenger hunt. The crossword clues and...
David: A piece from our favorite board game.
Patterson: David, when you solved a tattoo, you should have called me immediately...
David: And we would have had a two-second phone call instead of an adventure.
Patterson: You were supposed to be here for all of this. It was gonna be...
David: Super romantic.

[Agent Patterson asks Jane Doe if she gets tired of people staring at her tattooed body]
Patterson: Does all the staring drive you crazy?
Jane: I've never known anything different.
Patterson: Right. Good point.
Jane: Not like I can do anything about it.
Patterson: Not unless... turtlenecks come back into fashion.

Patterson: Okay, so, as we all know, the text on Jane's back is a mish-mash of various passages from famous literary works. Buried in there are Bible verses from the Book of Genesis, including Genesis 3:25.
Edgar: [reading] "But it was the Father who sent his envoy, the serpent, to tempt his children and lead them astray."
Tasha: I haven't been to church in a while, but that doesn't sound familiar.
Patterson: That's because it doesn't exist. There is no Genesis chapter 3, verse 25. But this morning, one of my systems picked up the phrase "Genesis 3:25" over some chatter, and I was able to track it to a man named Jared Wisnewski. Single guy, runs a local farmers co-op upstate. A few hunting rifles registered to his name.
Edgar: Okay, so a mild-mannered farmer references a Bible verse that doesn't exist in the chatter? Barely a lead.
Patterson: I thought so, too. But the coincidence didn't sit well with Weller, and he wanted us to dig into it.
Tasha: How exactly did this alert your tattoo database?
Patterson: I don't want to bore you with the intricate details.
Edgar: Since when?
Patterson: It's... it's just... it's a whole mess of algorithms and just so much math.
Edgar: All right, we're gonna head up to Wisnewski's farm and see if we can find anything.
[he and Tasha turn to leave]
Edgar: Let's move.

[Rich Dotcom asks Jane Doe about what Agent Weller told her at the FBI headquarters]
Rich: Hey, what did 'Stubbles' whisper to you back at HQ? Looked really intense?
Jane: He just told me to be careful.
Rich: Hmm. Yeah. He really seems to worry about you a lot.
Jane: We are part of a team, and teams look after each other.
Rich: Right. I mean, it's for sure more than that, but, hey, 'E' for effort.

[last lines]
Ruggedly: [the ruggedly handsome man wraps his arm around Jane Doe in her safe house apartment] Don't - Don't make a sound.

Kurt: I know how much you gave up to come with me to Colorado. I'm sorry I didn't acknowledge it sooner. If we do this, I wanna do it right this time. And I don't know... how we fit together anymore. But I do want to figure it out.
Jane: That's all I want.
[he hands back her wedding ring]
Jane: You were carrying this the entire mission?
Kurt: Yeah. Every day since the day you left. You don't have to put that on straight away. There's been a lot that's...
Jane: [kissing him] I missed you so much.
Kurt: I missed you, too.
Jane: I don't suppose the, uh, bed's still here.
Kurt: I'm sure we can improvise.

Matthew: How would you describe your relationship with Jane Doe?
Kurt: Professional.
Matthew: Exclusively?
Kurt: Uh... we go out for beers after work sometimes.
Matthew: So, professional and personal. Got it. How would you describe your relationship with Jane Doe's mother?
Kurt: She's the leader of the terrorist organization we're trying to stop. She's my enemy.
Matthew: Enemy. That's not the word I would use for someone who paid for my schooling. Wouldn't "benefactor" be more apt?
Kurt: I didn't know about that, but she's still my enemy.
Matthew: She took out as many FBI agents as she could during that compound raid. She killed her friend Sean Clark right in front of you. Both times, you got to walk away. Seems like she's still your benefactor to me, so what's in it for her?
Kurt: This is ridiculous. You really think that I'm working for Sandstorm?
Matthew: On the surface, it seems absurd, but you look at the evidence and it starts to pile up pretty good.
Kurt: Really?
Matthew: Shepherd paid for your schooling. She spared your life. Your not-so-professional relationship with her daughter, Jane Doe.
Kurt: You're trying to make connections that aren't there, serving your own personal interests.
Matthew: I don't need a whole fire. I just need a little bit of smoke to bring this in front of Congress, and what I've got here is a hell of a lot of smoke, Assistant Director Weller.

Kurt: Devon's pregnant.
Tasha: Our medical report matches the one done while Devon was in jail.
Parker: How many weeks?
Jane: Five. And judging by the look on your face, I'm guessing you had no idea.
Kurt: If I were you, I'd be doing everything I can to make sure that my kid wasn't born in a supermax.
Parker: No, you could have doctored these reports.
Jane: This is your one chance to do the right thing, for her. For your child.
Parker: There's a server warehouse up 87. Shepherd's plans, identities, financial intel, stolen government documents. It's all there.
Kurt: You're gonna need to be a little more specific with that location.
Parker: Not until Devon's as far away from Shepherd as possible. It's gonna look like she flipped to save herself. I need to know that she's out of reach.
Kurt: What do you propose?
Parker: Put her on a plane. Devon has family in London. When she touches down, the location's yours.
Kurt: We'll put her in the air. And if your location checks out, then she lands at Heathrow. If you're lying to us, she lands at Guantanamo.
Parker: It'll check out.

Gary: It's... it... it's working. It's actually working.
Eileen: But it will never hold.
Edgar: Why not?
Patterson: Because the satellite is Shaquille O'Neal and the Soyuz is me.
FBI: I like my biblical reference better.
Edgar: Gotcha. It's not a fair fight.
Patterson: It... it's a Band-Aid on a bullet wound.
Gary: Well, by my calculations, your Band-Aid's bought us six minutes.

[Agent Nas tells Agent Weller that they need Jane Doe to take-down Sandstorm]
Nas: You know, when... when I was a little girl, my father and I, we got caught up in a storm. Just west of the River Indus. We couldn't see, couldn't breathe. We just... clung to each other, praying for it to end. It's the most frightened I've ever been. Until now. These people, they give me that same feeling. They scare me just... just like that sandstorm.
Kurt: [about Jane] How can you expect us to work with her? After everything that she's done.
Nas: 'Cause Jane's the first real lead we've had in years. The safety and security of this entire nation hangs in the balance. You want vengeance for Mayfair? Then you want Sandstorm.

[Agent Weller asks to give Jane Doe a lift home]
Kurt: Do you want me to give you a lift home?
Jane: Uh, my security detail's downstairs.
Kurt: It's no big deal, it is on my way home.
Jane: Better not.

[Ahktar asks Rich Dotcom if he's holding the Gardner paintings]

Rich: God, I hope so.
Shohid: The Gardner paintings. Feels like a dream, doesn't it?
Rich: If it was a dream, I'd be naked.

[Rich Dotcom and the agents stand outside the security door to the Gardner paintings when an eye scanner opens up]
Rich: Don't panic, we got plenty of time. Let me just think. We just need to...
Rich: [as a 90-second countdown begins on the scanner] Start panicking.

Jake: [after Weller and Jane are attacked in their home] Bertrand Keele. German steel titan and former Sandstorm loyalist.
Kurt: Sandstorm's done.
Jake: Yes, which apparently made Bertrand very, very angry. You don't take down one of the biggest terrorist organizations in the world without making some enemies.

[first lines]
Jane: [narrating] Everything just feels so out of control. I don't remember who I am, who I was. Whatever life I had is gone... shattered into a million tiny pieces.
Jane: [speaking] Sometimes it's hard to breathe.

[Agent Zapata tells Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair what she wishes for]
Tasha: I'd like to run a division one day, like you.
Bethany: Be careful what you wish for. Early on in my career, someone powerful approached me, asking for help. It was a big career opportunity. What he was asking me to do was... morally ambiguous at best. I went along. Told myself it was for the greater good, but in my gut, I knew that was a lie. Didn't sleep well back then. Still don't. Things went sideways and that powerful person was nowhere to be found. I was left alone to account for my actions, wishing that I'd trusted my gut. Whatever you're doing with Weitz, for Weitz, just make sure you can sleep at night.

[Jane Doe arrives at Kurt Weller's home for dinner and meets his sister Sarah, when the two smell Sarah's cooking in the background]
Jane: Smells good.
Kurt: No. It doesn't.
Jane: [Jane chuckles] No, it doesn't.

[Captain Rossi tells Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair about officers Costello and Johnson]
Captain: It's no secret what they do to cops behind bars. Costello and Johnson are gonna do anything they have to stay out of prison. You go in there, be ready for war.

[Agent Patterson apologizes to Dr. Borden for blowing up his cottage house]
Patterson: Sorry I blew up your house.
Dr. Robert Borden: It's all right. Now I've got an excuse to start from scratch.
Patterson: I'm pretty good at painting walls... once you have walls, I guess.

[last lines]
Thomas: [CIA Deputy Director looks over to Agent Zapata in the passenger seat of a car] I knew you'd come around.
Thomas: [FBI Agent Zapata looks into and accepts an envelope full of cash] Let's talk about Jane Doe.

[Jane Doe and Rich Dotcom watch Ahktar shooting his handguns at his windows and guests]
Rich: Oh, boy. Looks like someone's been on a bit of a bender. He gets a little paranoid when he's been doing blow.
Rich: [as Ahktar continues shooting around himself] This might be a little more dangerous than I thought.

[in a flashback, Jane remembers her training to be patient]
Roman: [as Jane sits in her cell] Bide your time. Wait and watch. There's always a way out.

[first lines]
Dr. Borden: [Jane see's a flashback of Dr. Borden] You don't seem like yourself today. Jane?
Jane: [Jane then see's the image of herself talking on Oscar's phone] You did this to yourself. Oscar will tell you the rest as you need to know it. I know how hard this must be for you. But you can trust him. After all... he's following your orders. Good luck.
Oscar: [Oscar takes out a knife and cuts Jane free] Don't do anything stupid. I'm here to help you.

Boss: I want whatever's inside this.
Patterson: The data on that thing is for sure mega-encrypted. I couldn't hack it even if I had months.
Boss: No, we paid for the best computer specialist in the FBI.
Tasha: But she hasn't worked for the Bureau in over a year.
Patterson: Yeah. I make video game apps, man. I'm not up to date on this stuff.
Boss: I don't believe you.
Patterson: Well, I don't know what to tell you.
Boss: That you will do it.
Edgar: Wait. If this is just about hacking a computer, what do you need us for?
Boss: To kill if she refuses. You have six hours. And then I come back and I'll start killing your friends. Then six hours after that, I'll finish killing them. I suggest you give me what I ask for.

[Agent Weller suggests to Jane Doe the two of them should dance to blend in]
Kurt: We should try to blend in.
Jane: No, I... I don't think I can dance.
Kurt: Well... up until this morning... you couldn't speak Bulgarian. Who knows? You could be a tango champion.

[Agent Nas asks Agent Weller what the M7G677 image file is]
Nas: Look, what's in M7G677?
Kurt: A black hole.
Nas: In what sense?
Edgar: [Reade opens the file of a black hole] In the literal sense. It's an image file of a black hole.

[Agent Weller figures out that Kristy is ZOMO]
Kurt: You're ZOMO. Aren't you? The only prints on that postcard were yours, because you wrote it. Who went to the park? You, or this Eric Buchman front?
Kristy: [Kristy has tears roll down her eyes] Eric.
Kurt: But you're the artist.
Kristy: [as Kristy begins crying] I was the artist. And Eric, wasn't just a front. He was my boyfriend. We started ZOMO as an experiment after we met at Columbia. And when it caught on... we wanted to see how far we could push it. I guess we found it.

Bethany: You said you were gonna take a leave of absence after we found David's killer.
Patterson: I know. I was. But then there was the whole Pan-Asian 921 thing, and then this... things here just feel more important.
Bethany: I've been where you are, and I dealt with it in the exact same way. And it worked, for a while. The longer you run from this, the more it will hurt when it catches you. And trust me, it will catch you.

Jane: [Weller leads her into his bare apartment] Wow. I love the new look. It's, uh, very Zen.
Kurt: I was about five minutes away from selling it. Been kind of living out of a suitcase lately, you know?
Jane: I know the feeling.
Kurt: We can have the movers bring our stuff back from storage tomorrow. If... if you still want them to.
Jane: Yeah. I want.

Patterson: Okay, seriously, what the hell is going on?
Edgar: Yeah, and where are we?
Tasha: And how did you find us? And where have you been?
Jane: It's a... a long story.
Edgar: Well, damn it, we got time. This tank is slow as hell.

[first lines]
Perry: [victim Perry Bryne screams as he gets tortured by two unknown killers] Stop, please! I don't know where he is!
Nadya: He's your brother. Of course you do.
Perry: I - I don't know! I don't know.
Nadya: [in Bulgarian] Tighten it.
Perry: [Perry groans louder] I would tell you! I would tell you, please.
Nadya: Shh.
Perry: Please.
Jonathan: I told you.
Nadya: We had to try.
Jonathan: Did we? He's not even close to his brother.
Nadya: We had to try.
Jonathan: Now what?
[Nadya pulls out a pistol shooting Perry in the head]

[Agent Patterson tells Agent Weller and Jane Doe that they're capable of landing the plane]
Patterson: Keep descending, you keep your knots up, you glide into position, pull the nose up, and extend the gear at the last second.
Kurt: And that's gonna work?
Patterson: My dad was a pilot; not a pro or anything like that, but he taught me a lot of... Listen, fixed wing planes like this can glide pretty steady as long as they keep descending. You're so high up, you can glide back onto the runway. Let me just... uh...
Patterson: [Patterson takes a second to think to herself] Yes, you can for sure maintain enough airspeed. I did the math.
Chief: [Fischer replies] How? Where?
Patterson: In my head, where math is done. Please don't interrupt.

[Agent Weller apologizes to Jane Doe about not showing up to meet her at the park, which he did but she didn't]
Kurt: I want to say sorry about last night. I should've told you that I wasn't coming. The two of us... it's too complicated.
Jane: Right. I was gonna say the same thing.
Kurt: Okay, I'm glad we're on the same page. I don't - I don't want things to be awkward.
Jane: No. Of course not.

Nas: Battling Shepherd is like trying to grab a fistful of water.
Kurt: All right, Nas, look at it this way. Two of her key lieutenants are on our side now. And the other one's dead, and it looks like she's preparing to flee the country. For the first time, we've got her on the ropes. She's desperate.
Nas: That's what I'm afraid of.

[Dr. Borden tells Agent Weller that he needs to confront his feelings about his father]
Dr. Robert Borden: Your father's dead, Kurt. It's too late to confront him now, but until you confront your feelings about him, his shadow will follow you wherever you go.

[Agent Weller tells Jane Doe that his instincts were right about her]
Kurt: Don't tell anyone else this, but, contrary to popular beliefs, not all of my instincts are right all the time. But I was right about you.

[Rich Dotcom shows the FBI agents how smart watches work]
Rich: Now, these smart watches map and store movements of their users to an insane degree. It's all in the name of fitness tracking, but in the wrong hands...
Rich: [Dotcom holds up his handcuffs] These, for example - they're a veritable gold mine. All we need to do is find the right line of code from the data Reade cloned from the watch and... there we go. Right?
Patterson: That's actually - That's pretty smart. So he's isolated Turner's hand movement corresponding to when he typed in his 12-digit key code.
Rich: [Dotcom looks to Patterson] It's just like looking over his shoulder, except you have to be a genius to do it.

Kurt: That was the governor. Sandstorm has cut the NYO off.
Jane: That replica would have taken months to make. They've been planning this for a long time. You think this is Phase Two?
Kurt: Possibly. Whatever it is, we gotta get back and we gotta stop it. Sandstorm, they might be controlling the building, but they don't know it as well as I do. There's a sub-basement beneath the bottom floor.
Jane: In a maintenance elevator.
Kurt: Back in the '80s, the city started construction to extend the N line. It went underneath what's now the NYO. They had to cancel the project. But that access tunnel still exists.
Jane: So that's our way in.
Kurt: Yes.

[the agents watch the alarm count down on the eye scanner to the Gardner paintings room]
Allison: Well, what happens if that hits zero?
Rich: It gets very hot in 'hurr'. I'm sorry, terrible joke. I just got quite nervous.

[Jane Doe asks Agent Weller about why she was chosen for this]
Jane: How do I know how to do all of this? The Chinese, the fighting?
Kurt: A lot of people know martial arts, but... what I just saw... you don't learn that at a local dojo.
Jane: So, is that why they chose me? 'Cause of what I can do. But why me?
Kurt: I don't know yet, Jane.

[Allison Knight brings Agent Weller some breakfast]
Allison: I brought you breakfast. Poppy seed muffin and cortado, just the way you like it.
Kurt: Better be.

[Agent Reade and Agent Zapata continue to tell Agent Patterson the secrets she doesn't know]
Edgar: I was attacked by a masked man who threatened to kill Sarah and Sawyer if I didn't back away. Mayfair waved me off of it, but... it's possible she continued investigating on her own.
Patterson: And you knew about this, too?
Tasha: If it makes you feel any better, he only told me yesterday.

Jane: That scar on your face. That was my fault, wasn't it? I couldn't protect you.
Roman: Is that why you came back for me today? You felt guilty? Remy would have protected the mission at all costs.
Jane: Yeah, well... you might not want to hear this, but... if that's true... I don't want to be Remy. I hope she never comes back.

[Agent Weller yells down to Agent Reade's elevator car]
Kurt: We're gonna get you guys out, all right? Just hang on!
Attorney: [the attorney from inside the car still doped up on meds replies] Are we landing?

[Jane Doe thanks Agent Weller for the necklace he gives her]
Jane: Thank you. It's so beautiful.
Kurt: It's my pleasure. It belonged to your mom. She bought it when you were born... to match your eyes.
Jane: How did you...
Kurt: After she passed away, some of her things were sold. I knew how much that necklace meant to her, so I bought it. Now it's yours.

[Jane Doe questions Ana Montes about her life at home]
Jane: So, the owl is just a personal thing? It didn't come from anywhere else? Because we can't find it referenced anywhere. Did you design it?
Ana: No.
Jane: Well, do you know who did?
Ana: My brother.
Jane: I saw in your file that he was killed last year. I'm sorry. Do you live alone now?
Jane: [Montes remains silent] Me too. It's hard, all that quiet.
Ana: I'm used to it.
Jane: I'm not.

Edgar: What exactly did Weller say?
Patterson: Just that Phase Two isn't over, and then the line went dead.
Jane: We have to find him.
Edgar: Weller wouldn't want us to focus on him. He would want us to focus on Sandstorm, so that's what we're gonna do. We gotta figure out where Shepherd's going to attack next.

[first lines]
Sophia: [Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair finds Sophia Varma in her car] Put the gun down, Bethany.
Bethany: How are you... You're dead.
Sophia: I told you I wanted to start over, to disappear... and I needed the world...
Bethany: You faked your own suicide.
Sophia: Yes. And I'm sorry, I can't imagine what I put you through.
Bethany: No, you can't.

[Jane Doe begins to remember herself being taken as a child, Jane begins to cry to Agent Weller uncontrollably]
Kurt: Jane, Jane. Here...
Kurt: [Weller holds Jane's hands to his chest] Do you feel that? I'm here. I'm right here with you. You're okay. Keep breathing, Jane. You're okay, just keep breathing.

Rich: We got to get her to a hospital or at least a very shady veterinarian.

[Rich Dotcom shows the agents why they brought his entire storage unit to the FBI headquarters]
Allison: [in a full room of Dotcom's junk] One glove? You made me drag all this junk up here for one glove?
Rich: I didn't make you do anything. I voted field trip. You chose!

Roman: "Edmond smiled when he beheld himself. It was impossible that his best friend - if indeed he had any friends left - could recognize him. For he could not recognize himself."
Jane: Roman.
Roman: It's "The Count of Monte Cristo". You read it, sis? It's about a man who's wrongfully imprisoned who escapes and gets revenge on those responsible.
Kurt: You weren't wrongfully imprisoned, Roman. You deserve to be locked up.
Roman: Hello, Kurt.
Jane: You did this to me? These new tattoos? Why?
Roman: Penance. You owe me, sis, for what you've done. These new tattoos are how you'll pay your way. But first, we need to get this price off your head.

[Jane Doe talks to Agent Zapata about her kidnapping experience]
Tasha: Those women today... No one else was coming for them. If it hadn't been for us and for your tattoos, there's a good chance they wouldn't have been found at all. Anything I had to do would've been worth it to take down Tate.
Jane: You really feel that way?
Tasha: This work is bigger than us.

Patterson: MRE. "Meals Ready to Eat", as in "Hot... and Ready to Eat". Made for soldiers with no stove and no fire.
Edgar: And apparently no taste buds.
Patterson: Every meal comes with a packet of magnesium heater powder. Just add water, and this stuff gets real hot. Does anyone care to guess what the primary explosive component of flash bangs is?
Tasha: Magnesium powder.
Patterson: This CIA desktop is liquid cooled. We just add a bunch of this stuff...
Tasha: And make the world's biggest flash bang.
Edgar: Distract the guards, overpower 'em, take the weapons... it's not bad.
Patterson: I think someone owes Mexican-style chicken stew an apology.

Tasha: Devon's been stabbed. She's gonna be okay, but she's in the infirmary.
Jane: Who did it?
Tasha: Another inmate, Liz, the same girl I picked a fight with.
Patterson: Why would you do that?
Kurt: We got to get Devon out now, all right? I'll make a deal, get her charges dropped. Once she's out, we can track her back to Parker.
Tasha: She's being held without bail awaiting trial. You release her now, she's gonna know something's up.
Kurt: It's clearly not safe in there for either of you anymore.
Tasha: Then we get her out another way.
Patterson: You mean besides with permission?
Tasha: If I break her out, she'll go straight for Parker. I know it.
Kurt: No. That is too dangerous.
Tasha: How many more innocent people have to die before we end this? Shepherd is out there right now, planning something big, and I am on the inside, and this is our chance to make a major move.
Kurt: I want Shepherd just as much as you do.
Tasha: There's never gonna be a perfect plan. I'm doing this with or without you.
Kurt: No. Tasha.
Tasha: I'm not asking you for permission. I'm asking you for help.

Roman: When did you start to remember?
Jane: Almost right away. The memories will come.
Roman: I'm not sure I want them to.
Jane: I know what that's like. I was so afraid of who I'd been and what I'd done. But even the most painful memories helped bring me to where I am now. And I'm going to be here, okay? And I'm gonna help you make sense of everything. And we are going to figure this out together.

Lincoln: What's Charlie Mike?
Riley: I was just getting to that.
[flips pages]
Riley: It's army slang for "Continue Mission".

[first lines]
Sarah: [Agent Weller's sister Sarah drops off some of his stuff at work] Okay, got your stuff. Clothes, toothbrush. You slept here?
Kurt: Yeah.

[Oscar tells Jane Doe that she was never Taylor Shaw]
Jane: Please don't do this. I'm - I'm just starting to feel like I know who I am again.
Oscar: You have no idea who you are.
Jane: I know that I'm Taylor Shaw. And I know that this was all my idea. And I know that... we were in love.
Oscar: Yeah. Yeah, we were in love. And, yes, this was your idea. But... this is Shepherd's mission. Always will be. And, no... You were never Taylor Shaw.

[last lines]
Oscar: [Oscar reminds Jane Doe that this entire plan is hers] I know it's hard for you to imagine right now, but we, you, me, the people we work with, we're the good guys. Soon you'll have to see that.
Jane: Maybe. But if we move forward we do this on my terms.
Oscar: You still don't get it, do you? These are your terms. This is all your plan. And it's time to get started.

[Agent Weller begins to put the wedding ring on Jane Doe's hand as they go undercover]
Kurt: Now, the couple were wearing wedding rings. So...
Jane: Oh, right, yeah. Of course.
[Jane starts to have a flashback of wearing a wedding ring before]

[Rich Dotcom tells Jane Doe and Agent Weller about checking out the necklace]
Gord: Now, you just can't leave the party until the necklace checks out. And if it doesn't you're both dead. I'm kidding. Or am I? Sometimes, I don't even know.

[Jane Doe questions Oscar about the video recording he has of her]
Jane: How do I know that you weren't holding a gun to my head during that video?
Oscar: I've never pointed a gun at you. I know better. And if you really thought that, you wouldn't be here. You'd have sent your team. But you didn't... because somehow, you know you're not one of them. That you're just a cog in their machine. Welcome when useful, disposable the second you're not.

[Agent Weller kisses Jane Doe now that they're no longer working together]
Kurt: Now that we're... not working together... it sort of means I can do this.
[Weller kisses Jane on the lips, as the two keep kissing back and forth, chuckling together]

[first lines]
Kurt: [Kurt Weller wakes up in bed in front of Allison Knight] Oh, man.
Allison: [Allison laughs] That drink kinda turned into 10, huh?
Kurt: [Kurt groans] Yeah. Were you always this messy?
Allison: No, um, things got a little out of hand last night. I think at one point, you might have even used your safe word.

[Rich Dotcom uses Agent Weller to hold up the Gardner painting as he cuts the tension wires from the back]
Rich: Okay, now, the muscle carefully lifts the painting off its hook and moves it forward about an inch. Now, this will allow the brains to sever the tension wires from its back... thus freeing it from the explosive shotgun charge. So, you know... steady hands. Once the muscle has the weight, he can't move until all five tension wires have been cut. Otherwise, you get a bunch of new holes in your face.
Rich: [Weller lifts the painting to put down on the floor] Now lift, lift. Step back slowly... slowly.
Rich: [Dotcom looks to Jane and Allison Knight] That's one down, ten to go. Boys versus girls?

Kurt: I'm still stuck on why.
Jane: We don't know Roman's motives yet because he doesn't want us to. The only way to figure it out is to follow these tattoos.
Eleanor: Jane, you don't have to do this if you don't want to. No one is forcing you to be here this time.
Jane: Yes, they are. Roman knows I can't walk away from this. He's my brother, these tattoos are on my body. I'm doing this.
Rich: Backstreet's back, all right! Six best friends and Stuart.

[Oscar confirms that Jane Doe is Taylor Shaw]
Jane: Am I really Taylor Shaw?
Oscar: Yes.
Jane: What happened to me after I was taken? Where have I been for the last 25 years?
Oscar: We need to learn to trust each other again.
Jane: And how do we do that?
Oscar: Slowly.

[last lines]
Thomas: [Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair meets with the unknown Thomas Carter] Look, if the girl knows about Daylight, she needs to disappear.
Bethany: You don't get it. She doesn't know anything. It's the people who did this to her, created this insane treasure map - They're the ones I'm worried about.
Thomas: Do we have any idea who they are?
Bethany: Not yet.
Thomas: Then we need to take out the liability that we do know.
Bethany: No.
Thomas: [Asst. FBI Director Mayfair meets an unknown man by the name of Thomas Carter] See, I've always been a 'better safe than sorry' guy myself.
Bethany: The tattoos are already in the system. Killing her won't undo that. It'll only make it worse, draw more attention to it. I'm managing the situation. I just thought you needed to know.
Thomas: You thought right. If that girl has information about Daylight on her body, then we are in very serious trouble. There's only four people in the world who knew about that operation, and one of them is already dead. Don't manage the situation. Make it go away.

[Jane Doe comments that they can't feed Maya Ahmadi chocolate all weekend]
Jane: [Maya eats Oreo cookies] Well, it's progress. But we can't just feed her chocolate all weekend.
Patterson: I mean... I do that sometimes.

[Agent Reade thanks Bethany Mayfair for trusting him]
Edgar: Hey. Thanks.
Bethany: For what?
Edgar: For trusting me.
Bethany: Always.

[Agent Reade talks to Jane Doe about Agent Weller]
Edgar: Look, I know you think I'm the bad guy because I didn't welcome you with open arms.
Jane: You think I'm a liability. I don't know what more I can do to...
Edgar: I'm not worried about you. All of us depend on Weller. He's got better judgment than anybody I've worked with my whole career. He's made split-second decisions that have saved our lives more times than I can count.
Jane: I don't understand.
Edgar: When he's around you, the guy I lean on, the guy I know... isn't there. And that scares the hell out of me.
Jane: There's nothing I can do about that.
Edgar: I know. That's the problem.

[Agent Patterson and Agent Weller try to convince Jane that she can land the plane]
Patterson: Jane, a plane is a plane is a plane. If you've ever landed one, you can land this one.
Kurt: You can do this, all right? Flying this big ol' bird, much easier than flying that chopper.

[FBI agents Weller, Reade, and Zapata enter into a home of a hostage situation armed in tactical gear]
Edgar: [Agent Reade holds up the heat sensor to the upstairs floor] Single tango, he's pacing. Three hostages.
Tasha: [Agent Zapata looks into the heat sensor] What's that, a cat or a dog?
Kurt: [Agent Weller hears a cry] It's a baby.

[the imaginary David tells Agent Patterson that she will find someone one day]
David: I know you think you're never gonna find someone like me again, and... well, you're right. It'll be impossible to find someone with my specific intellectual and sexual gifts. I know it seems impossible, but one day you're gonna be ready for somebody else. And he's gonna be incredible. Know who I've always liked? That Borden guy.
Patterson: You've never even met him.
David: Oh, you're right. It's almost like I'm a manifestation of your subconscious.

[Agent Weller asks Dr. Borden if his father could have been telling the truth about murdering Taylor Shaw]
Kurt: He said something right before he passed. A confession. It doesn't make any sense. He seemed... so lucid. But what he was saying... What happens to the mind as it's dying? Is it possible that he...
Dr. Robert Borden: Well, it's possible that your father was delusional, that, as his brain and body were shutting down, his synapses were firing in such a way as to make him see or say things that weren't real. That's certainly very common. Or... he could have been telling you the truth. Honestly, Kurt, if anyone could judge on whether or not your father was lucid, it would probably be you. So what does your gut tell you?

[Dr. Borden talks to Agent Patterson after they arrive at the cottage house]
Dr. Robert Borden: Sorry about all the construction mess. It really is a never-ending process. I fix the plumbing then the heating goes out. I prepare the roof and the oven breaks. In the beginning, it was like a real-life version of the Oregon Trail with only slightly less dysentery. Do you - Do you know that game?
Patterson: [Patterson chuckles] Yeah. Uh, I - I can't believe that you know that game. Or that you like One Direction.
Dr. Robert Borden: [Borden smiles] That was a joke.
Patterson: Oh, oh, okay. Was it?
[when Patterson laughs]

[CIA Agent Allison Knight tells Rich Dotcom and the FBI agents the code phrase for when Rich identifies Ahktar at the party]
Allison: Since we have no idea what Ahktar looks like and only a couple phone recordings to voice match, it's on Mr. Dotcom's shoulder to confirm our tango. The second he has positive ID, which will use the phrase... 'Mustard on that beat, ho.'
Rich: [Dotcom raps the phrase] 'Mustard on that beat, ho!' Supposed to be in my voice.
Tasha: Hear the phrase, take the room. Got it.

[Agent Weller drops Jane Doe off at her safe house]
Kurt: You should get some sleep, or get something to eat. So, if there's any food you like, tell the security guys and they'll get it for you.
Jane: I don't - I don't know what I like.
Kurt: Right, um... I'll get them to get you a bunch of menus, so you can choose.
Kurt: [Jane looks confused on what to say or do] Good night, ma'am.

[the FBI agents find the location of where Jane is hiding]
Edgar: Seriously, she's just working here at a motel?

Patterson: All right, so this is the tattoo on Jane's left hip. Embedded within it is a continental coin. Anyone care to guess the year it was minted?
Kurt: [no one replies] Obviously not.
Patterson: 1776, the birth of our great nation.
Kurt: Did Rich Dotcom help you crack this?
Patterson: He might have loosened the jar.
Kurt: Huh!
Tasha: Rich recognized the center symbol as a calling card for a notorious dark web courier called Lelantos.
Jane: What's he move?
Patterson: Anything you want. He's the FedEx of the underworld.

[CIA Deputy Director Thomas Carter aims a gun to Jane's head when Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair comes behind him]
Thomas: [Mayfair holds her gun up to Carter's head] You have your shot. Take it.
Bethany: I'm not you. Drop it.
Thomas: [Carter lowers his weapon] You think you're saving her. All you're doing is killing us.

[Agent Weller orders Agent Patterson to redesign the transmitter on Jane Doe]
Kurt: All right, they're taking Jane in deep. If she's caught with a transmitter, they'll kill her.
Patterson: It's not that easy... this kind of transmitter isn't designed to be shut down remotely.
Kurt: All right, fine! So redesign it.
Patterson: It's... that doesn't even make any sense, you can't...
Kurt: Patterson, just find a way around it!
Patterson: Okay, finding, finding.

Tasha: Nas's source has been dark for a year. Then out of the blue he re-establishes contact?
Edgar: Think he was setting her up for an ambush?
Jane: No, he's always given her valuable intel. I mean, he told her about me being dropped in Times Square before it happened.
Kurt: Yeah, and he also gave Nas key details on Sandstorm's org chart, Shepherd's interest in me. It doesn't make sense that he suddenly turned against her.
Tasha: Okay, what if it wasn't him on the call? Sandstorm could've gotten that number and used it to set up a trap.
Patterson: Whoa. This drive is crazy encrypted. Th... this is a lot of work for a decoy.
Kurt: How long is it gonna take you to decrypt it?
Patterson: All night, at least.

Nas: Cade?
Kurt: He's been after us ever since he tried to kill Jane.
Nas: He must have intercepted the call from my source.
Cade: Intercept? I am your source!

[Agent Patterson tells the imaginary David that she's sorry]
Patterson: [Patterson cries, sniffling] I'm so sorry. I - I don't know how I'm ever gonna forgive myself.
David: You can't blame yourself.
Patterson: But I do. If I hadn't have...
David: It's not your fault. You loved me. I know that. And I loved you. You know that. That won't go away.

[Jane Doe tells Oscar that she doesn't trust him]
Oscar: So... does this mean you've changed your mind about working with me?
Jane: No. This is the last time we'll be meeting. I don't trust you. And whoever I was before, I don't trust her either. I'm not your asset inside the FBI anymore. I am FBI.
Oscar: Taylor, you're in deep with these people. You can't see the big picture right now. When you could, I swear, you felt very differently.

[Jane Doe asks Agent Weller to shoot her for their plan to work with getting into Sandstorm]
Kurt: So what was the last thing that she said?
Nas: Jane, don't answer that.
Jane: She said she wished that she could see your face when you found out what I really was. I'm the reason she's dead, Kurt! So do it!
Tasha: [as a gunshot is fired into Jane's side by Agent Zapata] It's a clean shot.

Jane: How does Shepherd plan to hit the most secure building on the planet?
Patterson: I don't know. But after yesterday, we're at DEFCON-1. Civilians can't even get within a mile of the White House.
[a thought strikes her]
Patterson: Wait. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
[searching for something, she pull out a blue folder]
Patterson: CL-20. I know who we can talk to.

[Maya Ahmadi flips through the radio stations in the car and leaves it on the country station]
Dr. Robert Borden: Country. Interesting choice. I'm more of a One Direction man myself.

[Jane Doe tells Oscar how she truly feels about him]
Jane: You're the only one who knows who I really am. You know me. You make me feel real. And who you are and who we are together doesn't make you the wrong person for the job, it makes you the only person for the job. I almost died today.
Oscar: What?
Jane: My life is... When I see you here at the end of the day I feel safe.
Oscar: What happened?
Jane: A lot.

[Agent Patterson enters the inside of David's apartment]
Patterson: Why didn't you tell me all of your stuff had been moved?
David: I don't know anything you don't know.

Jane: Any intel on the dark web guy controlling the payout?
Eleanor: Leslie Doorhaus, AKA "The Duke of Death". We've been aware of him for years, but until now, he's been unfindable. Acts as a coroner to the underworld. Holds the bounties, confirms the kills, and transfers the funds to the lucky assassins.
Jane: Okay. Well, we have to meet him in half an hour at the Abbey of Misericordia.
Eleanor: I can request Italian police set up a hidden perimeter around the church. They'll take Doorhaus the second he tries to move Jane's body for disposal.
Kurt: It's too risky. This is not a good plan.
Jane: Right now, it's all we got.
Kurt: [she reaches for the syringe] So we wait. Come up with something better. We don't have to do this, Jane.
Jane: [injecting herself] Yes, we do. We have ninety minutes until I need the antidote. Please, Kurt, do this for me. For us.

[Agent Zapata gives Jane Doe some antibiotic ointment for her gunshot wound]
Tasha: Antibiotic ointment with a painkiller. No such thing as a minor gunshot wound. They all hurt like hell.
Jane: [Jane gasps in pain] Thank you.
Tasha: [Zapata pauses] Sorry I shot you.
Jane: I did ask for it.
Tasha: Yeah. You kind of did.

[Roman and Shepherd tell Jane Doe about ORION]
Roman: The CIA formed ORION to carry out off-the-book ops.
Jane: But I thought that's what SEALs were for.
Shepherd: Orion was for illegal, unsanctioned operations. Assassinations. Regime change. Missions too grisly to go through legitimate channels.
Roman: When Douglas Winter blew the whistle on the illegal NSA program that was feeding them intel, the CIA shut ORION down. Tried to erase any trace.
Shepherd: You were the only one that survived. They thought they killed you, too. We chose not to correct them.
Roman: This plaque is the closest thing ORION has to a memorial. This is what your country thought you were worth.
Shepherd: [Jane looks down to a memorial plague] America needs to be saved from itself.

[Agent Reade asks Colonel Powers a question about Major Gibson]
Colonel: Gibson's injury was psychological. He had a mission gone bad. There was collateral damage.
Edgar: How many civilians died?
Colonel: I'm afraid that's classified.
Edgar: So, a lot then?

[NSA agent Nas Kamal informs the FBI about Sandstorm]
Nas: About six years ago, I started to connect a number of seemingly random terror events. The Kentucky State Building attack, DC subway bombing, shooting at O'Hare.
FBI: Those were all lone wolves.
Nas: No, they were just designed to look like that. We believe that a single group is responsible for over a dozen domestic terror attacks in total. I've given them the code name 'Sandstorm.' We cultivated an asset within the organization, and they managed to get word to us alluding to an impending incident in Times Square. We believe that Jane was a key member of Sandstorm sent to you as a Trojan horse, and we've been monitoring the situation ever since. The only reason we're telling you now is because we need your help to get to Jane before the CIA does.

[Bethany Mayfair tells Agent Zapata that she's good for Agent Reade]
Bethany: Before Reade had met you, he would have never done something like this. You're a good influence on him.

[last lines]
Sophia: [Sophia Varma enters the back seat of Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair's car] Bethany, don't shoot!
Sophia: [Mayfair holds her gun on Sophia] It's me. Put the gun down.

[last lines]
Jane: [Oscar walks up to Jane holding up his phone] What is this? Who are you? What is that?
Jane: [a video begins to play of Jane herself speaking] If you're watching this, the mission is going as planned. You can trust the man who is showing you this video. His name is Oscar, and he is here to help you. I know that you're scared. I know that you're confused. And I know you want to find out who did this to you. The answer is you. The tattoos, the memory wipe, sending you to Kurt Weller. This was all your idea. Your plan. You did this to yourself. You... did this... to yourself.

[Agent Weller pours Agent Reade a glass of scotch at the end of the day]
Kurt: I'm not much of a bartender. Hope you like your scotch neat. And in a paper cup.
Edgar: I know what you're gonna say. That none of this is my fault. There's no way I could have known the man I looked up to since I was a kid is such a monster. None of the lives he ruined are my responsibility. And you're right. I know all this. But it doesn't make it any easier to live with. And I can do without the lecture, to be honest.
Kurt: All I was gonna say is, uh... this is real expensive... and really nice scotch. So... you better drink it.

Kurt: I'm uploading the new tattoos to you now.
Rich: I don't know, there's a lot of covered-up areas.
[Hirst gives him a look]
Rich: What? If you want my comprehensive analysis, I will require full nudes.
Jane: Is that who I think it is?
Kurt: A lot's changed in eighteen months. Reade's running the NYO, Tasha went over the CIA; she's working for Keaton now. Patterson moved to Silicon Valley. She's developing some app thingy.
Jane: And Rich Dotcom works for the FBI?
Eleanor: Mr. Dotcom helped us bring down a massive international terror cell last year and is brought in from time to time to assist.
Rich: Hey, Jane. It's Rich. Long time listener, first time caller. Jane, they got me staying in your safe house. It's like I'm living inside you. It's very intimate. Which brings us back to these nudes. Now, if you want my help, I really am gonna need to see everything. Patterson, Reade, and what's-her-name's lives may depend on it.
Kurt: Rich, we'll do complete scans when we get back to New York. For now, we know where the first tattoo's gonna lead us.
Rich: I can't believe I'm the one saying this, but what if this is a trap? You know? An elaborate ruse just to get you two out in the open? Do we really wanna risk it? At least before I get my nudes?
Jane: Look, whoever put these new puzzles on me did it while I was unconscious. If they wanted me dead, I'd be dead already. This is about something bigger.

[Jane Doe asks Agent Weller if he's okay after she had been missing]
Jane: I'm sorry. Are you okay?
Kurt: No. I'm not. I lost you once before. I spent most of today thinking I lost you again.
Jane: What would you have done... if you were me?
Kurt: Exactly the same thing.

[Jane Doe tells Oscar that she's never go to hurt her team the FBI]
Oscar: I have missions for you. Some small, some big. Things that move us closer to our objectives. You show me you can be trusted, and I'll tell you everything you want to know.
Jane: No.
Oscar: There's some part of you that knows I'm right. There's a part of you that - That doesn't trust them. Otherwise, you wouldn't be here.
Jane: I'm never going to hurt them. And I'm never going to put them in danger.

Patterson: A while back, I decoded a string of numbers embedded in Jane's hourglass tattoo. They match a corporate ID for a 501-C non-profit called Life Prospect, Inc.
Kurt: Is that some kind of charity foundation?
Patterson: Yeah, but they barely exist. The address and phone number associated with it are defunct, and money funneled into the foundation is obscured by layers upon layers of shell companies. There was nothing to investigate until now. This is sixteen year old Amber Wallace, found dead at her foster home this morning.
Tasha: What does she have to do with the non-profit?
Patterson: Life Prospect bankrolls the private foster home she lived in.
Jane: Wait. So you think my tattoo is connected to her death?
Patterson: Sandstorm put this non-profit on your body and now a young girl is dead. It's certainly worth looking into.

[Jane Doe confirms Rich Dotcom's name again]
Jane: I - I'm sorry, you said your name is Rich Dotcom?
Gord: Yeah, my mom was a big fan of the internet.
Gord: [Weller and Jane remain silent] That's a joke.
Gord: [Weller and Jane look at each other] You guys are as funny as I thought you'd be.

[Bill Weller in his deathbed tells the truth to his son Agent Weller]
Bill: [whispering] She's under the fort, Kurt.
Kurt: Who's under the fort, Dad?
Bill: It was an accident. I didn't mean to - I didn't - She was so small.
Kurt: What? Who's under the fort, Dad?
Bill: Taylor. Her body. She loved... loved it there.
Kurt: [Weller starts to cry] What are you talking about, Dad?
Bill: I killed her, son.
Kurt: No.
Bill: I - I killed Taylor Shaw.
Kurt: [Weller pulls his hand away from his dad's hand] No!

[Agent Patterson informs the team about Jane's next related tattoo crime]
Jane: Which tattoo is this connected to?
Patterson: So, this... square and diamond design is an exact match with the truck logo. And I couldn't figure it out, but the symmetry made me think of mirror images, which led to geometric shapes...
Kurt: Can we get back to the robbery.
Edgar: [Reade sarcastically comments] Hold on a second, I want to see how she cracked it. It might inform the case.

[Jane Doe threatens Oscar by telling him he doesn't know who she is anymore]
Jane: You don't know me anymore.
Oscar: I know you better than anyone.

[Agent Weller see's Jane Doe in her undercover black dress for the first time]
Jane: The, um... tattoos sort of ruin the whole undercover thing, so they covered them up with makeup.
Jane: [Jane clears her throat as Weller keeps staring] I feel ridiculous in this dress.
Kurt: That is not the word I would use.
Allison: Stay safe. Don't take your eyes off each other.

[Agent Naz tells Jane Doe to give the FBI time for them to trust her again]
Nas: Look, everything they knew about you is a lie. You've got to give them time to forgive you.
Jane: They handed me over to the CIA to be tortured and interrogated without charge or trial. As far as I can tell, this country runs on lies.
Nas: Look, I understand that you're angry...
Jane: No, you have no idea what it feels like to be looked at with hatred and suspicion at every...
Nas: I'm a Pakistani-born woman who's busted my ass climbing to the top of the National Security Agency. You think I haven't dealt with my share of aggression and mistrust?

[Jane Doe tells Agent Weller that she misses being Taylor Shaw]
Jane: [Jane pauses] I miss her.
Kurt: You didn't know her, Jane.
Jane: No, I mean, I... I miss being her. And maybe that's a horrible thing to say to you, but we're trying to be honest with each other now, right? Well, that's the truth. I miss being Taylor Shaw. And I understand you not wanting to be in the same room with me because if I were you, I would hate me, too.
Kurt: I don't ha... I don't hate you, Jane. I just don't know who you are anymore.
Jane: Yeah, well, that makes two of us.

[Jane Doe and Agent Reade show up to ZOMO's apartment building in disguise with a dog]
Jane: [as Jane walks the dog] This dog can really smell bombs?
Edgar: Well, if it can't, then it's one terrible bomb-sniffing dog.

[first lines]
Dodi: [Dodi flags down a taxi cab and gets in] Taxi!
Cab: Where to?
Dodi: Manhattan, Empire State Building, please.
Cab: From out of town?
Dodi: Yes, sir, can we go please?
Dodi: [a gas begins to go off inside of the cab] What's going on? Let me out!
Cab: [the cab driver speaks in Urdu to Dodi] Just relax, Dodi. This is the part that doesn't hurt.

Tasha: Okay, okay, so we've been drugged for God knows how long.
Edgar: Which means we could be pretty much anywhere in the world right now.
Patterson: But why capture us in the first place? Why us?
Tasha: [Reade gives her a look] What?
Edgar: Kidnapped, drugged, and disappeared to another country? This has CIA written all over it.
Tasha: You think we did this?
Edgar: Either you or somebody you pissed off during one of your sketchy-ass ops.
Tasha: They kidnapped all three of us, genius. You think that's a coincidence? No. This clearly has something to do with our time at the FBI. I don't know what you're trying to insinuate here...
Patterson: [trying to diffuse an argument before it starts] Okay, okay.
Tasha: ...but I find it really insulting.
Patterson: We can figure out whose fault this was once we all get out of here.

[last lines]
Distorted: [Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair finds her girlfriend Alexandra dead on the floor, when she answers the ringing telephone] Stop looking into Tom Carter's disappearance or you're next.

[Agent Weller and Jane Doe arm themselves in the FBI evidence room]
Jane: A little overkill.
Kurt: It's better to have ten guns and only need one than the other way around.

Matthew: Oh, there's the smiling faces I came to see. It's very lovely to see you again.
Tasha: Wish we could say the same.
Matthew: I'm gonna set up in the conference room. Get ready for depositions in ten. Where, um, is our tattooed friend? I'm looking forward to speaking with her today.
Tasha: Jane is heading out on a case, and so are we.
Matthew: Oh, that... you guys have a case. That's so crazy. I also have a case. Everybody has to speak with me today or face immediate suspension. It's your call.
Kurt: We'll answer any questions that you have regarding the raid on the Sandstorm compound, but it's gonna have to wait until we get back. I can't have you interfering with us doing our job.
Matthew: That's fine. I'll interview Special Agent Patterson first. You don't normally take the lab rat in the field, do you?
Kurt: I'll send her down.

Jane: [in Venice] Feels like we were here a lifetime ago.
Kurt: Funny, feels like five minutes ago to me. This was the first place that I looked for you when you disappeared. Thought maybe you were laying low in the hotel we found, some place only we'd know about. But you weren't.
Jane: I'm sorry. I knew that you loved me so much that you would walk away from your whole life. But I loved you too much to let that happen. I just thought I could find who was responsible for the bounty, take 'em out, and come right back to you. But it didn't work out that way.
Kurt: No, it didn't. And here we are. The place where I proposed to you.
Jane: Whoever's behind this, they could've been here that day. Watching us.
Kurt: [noticing a nearby building] Jane. Look at that. VII-10. Just like the tattoo.
Jane: And it's definitely not the correct time right now.
Kurt: No.
Jane: Come on. Maybe there's something inside.

[Agent Patterson thanks the imaginary David for his help today]
Patterson: Thank you.
David: For what?
Patterson: Everything. Today and... the scavenger hunt.
David: Have you forgotten I almost got you killed?

[Rich Dotcom introduces Jane Doe to Ahktar]
Shohid: Who is your friend?
Rich: Don't worry about her.
Shohid: I wasn't asking you.
Rich: Well, you kind of were.
Jane: [Jane whispers to Ahktar] We aren't friends. We're just sleeping together.

[Shepherd tells Jane Doe the pieces are almost in place]
Shepherd: [Shepherd hugs Jane] Oh... I've missed this face.
Shepherd: [Shepherd puts her hands up to Jane's face] It's so good to have you back, Remi. All of the pieces are almost into place. You don't have to live this double life for much longer. We're almost ready.

[Jane Doe asks Oscar what she was like before]
Jane: You know about me more than I do. What was I like before all of this?
Oscar: You were compassionate. Loyal, patient. So damn stubborn.
Jane: I'm not that stubborn.
Oscar: Yeah, said every stubborn person ever.

[Sarah Weller questions Kurt Weller when changing his neck bandage]
Sarah: I mean, who the hell goes back to work the day they have surgery? Seriously, what is wrong with you?
Kurt: What'd you want me to do? Stay at home, watch soap operas?
Sarah: Yes. That's what normal people do.

Lawrence: Assistant Director Weller, welcome. Now that we're all here, we can begin. For those of you who are first-timers, the answers to your many questions will be found inside your metal folders. As the rest of you know, we are a faction of the Deputies Committee who assemble in the face of national security threats, such as the coordinated attacks on this country today. This is the Continuity of Government Subcommittee, or COGS.
[Weller flashes back to Nas and Cade mentioning COGS]
Lawrence: Each of us is a designated deputy of a key federal agency.
[as he lists them off, Weller flashes back to meeting each deputy head]
Lawrence: The CDC, the DEA, the USAF, the CIA, the FBI. Thankfully, the levers of power are still in place, but in the case of another more devastating attack...
[as he talks, Weller flashes back several times]
Lawrence: ...it is our sworn duty to remain in this bunker until otherwise notified, in preparation to enact the Truman protocol, wherein, by order of the president, we alone become the successors to the United States government. Thank you.
Kurt: [realizing what's going on] This is everything.
Calm: What?
Kurt: Jane. The tattoos. This is what it's all for.
Calm: What are you talking about?
Kurt: All of us that are locked inside this bunker, we're the cogs Shepherd needs to enable the Truman protocol. We're Phase Two.
Calm: No, no, no. The Phase Two attack already happened. We stopped it.
Kurt: No. It was part of it. Shepherd is putting each and every one of us in this room to become the successors to government she believes is corrupt. A government that she's about to destroy. The attack on this country isn't over. It's just beginning.

[last lines]
David: [Agent Patterson remains silent as the imaginary David tells her he's gonna leave for good] I'm gonna go.
Patterson: I don't want you to.
David: I know... but I'm already gone.
Patterson: [Patterson looks to her side and no longer sees David] Bye, David.

[Rich Dotcom tells Agent Weller to lighten up]
Gord: I got $100,000 worth of caviar downstairs, and some wine that's older than the First World War. So... enjoy yourselves. This guy in particular. Look at that stern mug on your face. You need to let loose, man. I mean, it's Friday night, for cryin' out loud.
Kurt: It's Tuesday.
Gord: Well, it's Friday somewhere.

Patterson: I might have an idea. But it's just, like, a little bit crazy.
Tasha: Crazier than getting killed in six hours?
Patterson: Well, it involves Mexican-style chicken stew.
Edgar: Oh, great, so "all the way" crazy.

[Agent Patterson calls Agent Zapata a wizard when she solves a tattoo by herself]
Patterson: You're like some kind of wizard.
Tasha: What do we do now, elf?
Patterson: Actually, I'm a gnome cleric.

Nas: You're just gonna avoid the elephant in the room?
Kurt: You hid an elephant in there as well?
Nas: Look, I'm sorry, all right?
Kurt: About the bug? Or the fact that we found it?
Nas: I need to know what is in Jane's head at all times. The fact that she's so invested in Roman is extremely worrying.
Kurt: He's her brother, and she's trying to bring him to our side.
Nas: Yeah, and that bond goes both ways. I need to know who is turning who.

[Allison Knight talks to Agent Weller about the sex being good]
Allison: We're having fun. We haven't had a fight. The sex is good.
Kurt: Whoa, back it up. What do you mean... 'good'?
Allison: [Allison chuckles] Okay, great. The sex is great.
Kurt: Okay. Keep - Keep going.
[as the two laugh]

[last lines]
Oscar's: You okay? You seem different.
Oscar: I'm fine.
Oscar's: You're not getting cold feet?
Oscar: It's just... I think we need more time to make sure everything's in place.
Oscar's: You've gotten too close to her.
Oscar: Let's just get this done.
[the two unzip the body bag revealing CIA Deputy Director Carter's dead body]

Kurt: [wearing a bright red outfit picked out by Patterson] I feel ridiculous.
Jane: [laughs] I don't know. This could be a new look for you.
Kurt: I'm gonna burn these clothes as soon as we get back.

[the doped up attorney on anxiety meds talks to Agent Reade and Sarah Weller in the stuck elevator]
Attorney: Wait a second. You two used to date and now you're trapped in an elevator? This is exactly like that movie. The one with the elevator, where they fall in love. With that girl and that guy from TV. You know what I'm talking about, he's got, like, the, um, like, the face, and the hands? It really doesn't matter.
Attorney: [the attorney grabs Reade's shoulder] I thought we were stuck in here because of karmic payback for this hit-and-run, but it turns out, it's 'cause we're gonna get you two back together.
Attorney: [the attorney holds Sarah's arm] Wow. Whew. Those anxiety meds just hit me hard. Hard. Hard... That is a funny word when you say it over and over again. Hard. Hard...

[Agent Reade tries to tell Freddy that his testimony wouldn't be credible against Coach Jones]
Edgar: Freddy... in cases this old, credible testimony is the biggest weapon we have. We just couldn't find enough victims to come forward, and the ones who did...
Freddy: Weren't credible.
Edgar: No, that's not what I was gonna say.
Freddy: It's cool, man, I get it. That's the great thing about messing with kids. Your victims cover your tracks for you.

[Jane Doe ditches the transmitter Agent Nas plants on her]
Tasha: We should have tailed her.
Nas: They would have made us, made her. Don't worry, she's equipped with one of the best trackers we have. Sound, GPS. Battery lasts...
Patterson: She just ditched it.
Nas: She what?
Patterson: Well, either that, or she's currently laying down in the middle of the Pulaski Bridge.
Edgar: I'm gonna say she ditched it.

[Agent Zapata tells Agent Reade that she doesn't trust Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair]
Edgar: Mayfair is the one person who always has our backs, I don't know where you're getting your information from. Who put a bug in your ear?
Tasha: No one put a bug in my ear. I've trusted Mayfair my whole career and I worked my ass off to be on her team... but I'm starting to wonder if maybe I should've opened my eyes a long time ago.

[Oscar tells Jane Doe that he still cares about her]
Jane: I am not that person anymore. I am not that person who planned all of this. I am not your fiancée, and I am not on your side.
Oscar: Well, I'm still on your side. And I want to protect you. And if I can, I wanna protect the people you care about, too. But I'm the good cop, and the bad cops, they're not so concerned about that part.

[Agent Weller tells Dr. Borden that he worries about Sawyer]
Kurt: Sawyer I'm more worried about.
Dr. Robert Borden: He knows his grandfather's sick?
Kurt: It's hard not to. Poor kid, he's only ten years old. So... I'm not sure he really understands... what's about to happen.
Dr. Robert Borden: Well, at that age, kids are bombarded by images of death, from the TV, video games, an insect on the sidewalk. He certainly understands what's going on.
Kurt: I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
Dr. Robert Borden: Well, it isn't good or bad. It just is. The question is how he'll cope. After losing a loved one, some children experience intense guilt, some bottle their emotions, others lash out. He's about the same age you were when Taylor disappeared, no?

[Agent Weller gives Jane Doe a lecture about interrogating Ana Montes]
Jane: I was talking to her.
Kurt: And now, you're emotionally invested in that girl.
Jane: So, what if I am? She is a scared, lonely kid.
Kurt: Who is the subject of an investigation. FBI agents are trained to maintain their distance.
Jane: I'm not an FBI agent.
Kurt: And yet you want to be treated like one. You wanted a weapon, so you got...
Jane: Which you agreed to, because it was too dangerous for me to be in the field without one. What's changed all of a sudden?
Kurt: In this job you have to remain objective.
Jane: Really? Is that what you've done with me? Stayed objective?
Kurt: I'm working on it.

Kurt: [hearing an old conversation between Ron Clark and Mayfair] She never told me that I was up for that.
Patterson: Maybe she didn't want to get your hopes up.
Kurt: Clark blocked the chance for me to be promoted, to relocate to D.C. He wasn't just talking baseball gibberish.
Patterson: What do you mean?
Kurt: He told me that I was playing for the Mets; the New York Mets. But he said I should have been a National; the Washington Nationals. He was trying to tell me about that transfer, but he said they could never let it happen.
Patterson: "They" being Sandstorm?
Kurt: That phone call was from last year, so Shepherd wanted me to stay in New York, to be here when Jane showed up in that bag.

[Roman tells Jane Doe that he said a prayer for her]
Roman: [Roman hugs Jane] Before I left you in Times Square, I said an old Afrikaans prayer for you. For a safe journey and... a quick return home. You got neither. So much for prayer.
Jane: Remi and Roman. My brother.
[Roman chuckles]

[Agent Weller arrives home to find his dad still at the apartment]
Kurt's: Sarah's just putting Sawyer to bed. She wasn't expecting you home yet. I'll just say my goodbyes.
Kurt: [Weller see's the Scotch bottle and glass on the table] You wanna pour me one of those?
[the two sit down, as Kurt's dad pours his son a drink]
Kurt's: Rough day at the office?
Kurt: Yeah. Seems like they all are these days.

[first lines]
Jane: [Jane gets tortured at a black site as she screams] Uhh! Uhh!
Calm: Okay, let's try this again. Why Kurt Weller? You know, you've been here for three months. How much longer are you gonna make us do this to you, Jane?

[Agent Weller walks Jane Doe into an ammo room with weapons laid out on the table]
Kurt: Your first memory was triggered by being active. Maybe your muscles might remember something your mind can't.
Kurt: [Jane picks up one of the assault rifles] That's an M-4. So, if you want to fire that, you're going to...
Kurt: [Jane holds up the magazine to the rifle] Need to do...
Kurt: [Jane loads in the magazine to the rifle] Exactly that.

[Allison Knight tells Agent Weller about them two being great together]
Kurt: What's your point?
Allison: My point is... I don't want you to sabotage something because it's going great.
Allison: [when the two start to kiss and get undress] Okay? Now throw me around like a rag doll before the Thai food gets here.
Kurt: Yes, ma'am.

[the FBI team discuss what their opinion is of who Jane Doe may be]
Kurt: Director Mayfair, there is no doubt in my mind she's special forces or intelligence trained. Her skill set is way too specialized. High-level language abilities, hand-to-hand proficiency, off the charts, her marksmanship under pressure. She's professional. She saved my life today.
Edgar: She also recovered her first memory.
Bethany: What is it?
Edgar: Running an outdoor shooting course. It's just a fragment, but it lines up with what we all saw today.
Bethany: Who is this woman?
Kurt: I don't know yet. But what I do know is that one of those tattoos helped save the lives of hundreds of people. And she's covered in them. She might be just the most important resource we ever had, and you risked losing her by letting her out in the field today.
Bethany: She saved your life and triggered her first memory. We're one step closer to finding out who she is and who did this to her. I'd say the risk paid off.
Kurt: I still don't get why. I mean, if our unknown subject is a good guy who wanted us to stop Chao, why not call it in? You know, why go to the trouble of kidnapping Jane. And covering her in those tattoos?
Bethany: These tattoos are as big of a mystery as Jane Doe is. We have no way of knowing where they'll lead.
Kurt: Yeah. Well, one thing's for sure. Someone likes playing games. And this is just the beginning.

Jane: [Patterson & Zapata have just removed a bullet from Jane's side] Jane: If it's ok with you guys, I think I'm gonna pass out.

Matthew: I know what you're doing.
Nas: Telling the truth?
Matthew: Taking the heat off of everyone else by jumping in the fire yourself.
Nas: Look, you're smarter than this, Matthew. You know that if you drag this team in front of a Congressional subcommittee, you'll have a fight on your hands.
Matthew: Yeah, a fight I can win.
Nas: A fight you might win. But if Weller brings Shepherd in tomorrow, he'll be the hero and you'll look like a fool. What I'm offering you is a sure thing, a guaranteed win. I can't name a single AUSA that has brought a top NSA operative in front of Congress. It would be unprecedented. Or you can continue this witch hunt against Weller and his team, and I can promise you that I will use all my substantial resources to find every last piece of dirt on Matthew Weitz and pursue a hearing of my own. So, Mr. Weitz, your move.

CIA: Shepherd's stockpile is either really well-hidden or we're looking in the wrong place.
Tasha: What if she did what every two-bit dealer does? Hide their stash in something else?
CIA: Like packing heroin in coffee grounds.
Tasha: Right, so what are her coffee grounds? What hides nuclear material?
CIA: Lead.
Tasha: Lead.
CIA: Yeah, we should be looking for lead.

Patterson: Jane, true or false: it's bad luck to take a shot without toasting.
Jane: [laughing] Uh, false?
Kurt: Done.
Patterson: Whatever. She has amnesia.

[first lines]
Jane: [Jane Doe tells Oscar that she will never trust him again] I am through listening to you. All your little missions. The USB drive. The GPS tracker, the pen. None of it is what you said it was! You used me to frame Mayfair for murder!
Oscar: I know this is hard. I know you trusted her, but Bethany Mayfair was responsible for some very, very bad things, Taylor.
Jane: Then she should pay for those things! But she should not go to prison for something she didn't do!

Edgar: How are we gonna find Shepherd's nukes?
Tasha: Nukes?
Edgar: Damn it, Zapata, you shouldn't be here.
Kurt: You need to go back to the hospital.
Tasha: Are you two done mothering me? Now who's gonna catch me up?
CIA: I will.
Tasha: Since when do we work with the CIA?
Kurt: Hospital or Keaton. Your choice.

[Jane Doe teases Agent Reade for the first time]
Tasha: Hey, you guys wanna grab a drink with us?
Edgar: Nope. I got a date tonight.
Tasha: With who?
Edgar: None of your business.
Jane: If you don't want to come, just say so. You don't have to lie.
Tasha: [Zapata laughs] Ooh!
Edgar: Really? The both of you now?

[Rich Dotcom tries to open the lock on Randall Turner's door as he talks to Agent Weller]
Kurt: If that door's not opened in five seconds, I'm gonna break your jaw.
Rich: I'm just saying, historically, I have a pretty good nose for this sort of thing.
Kurt: Fine. I'll break your nose.
Rich: Play your cards right, you get a little holy trinity going, am I right?

[Agent Reade tries to calm down the attorney while stuck in the elevator with her]
Edgar: Kristen, I think I heard you just say?
Attorney: Yeah.
Edgar: It's just a drill.
Attorney: Yeah. You know what else started as just a drill?
Edgar: No.
Attorney: [the attorney hesitates before responding hysterically] Well, neither do I.

[Agent Patterson, Agent Reade, and Agent Zapata break into Bethany Mayfair's laptop]
Edgar: What the hell did Mayfair get caught up in?
Patterson: I don't know. But now we're in it, too.

[Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair and Agent Weller disagree about Jane Doe being Taylor Shaw]
Bethany: Look, I know you want Jane to be Taylor Shaw...
Kurt: This has nothing to do with what I want. Her DNA is Taylor's DNA. End of story.
Bethany: Kurt, you can't pick and choose evidence to suit your preferred narrative. I shouldn't have to tell you that. Have you told her yet?
Kurt: There's nothing to tell.

[Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair catches Agent Patterson and David with Jane's tattoo photos]
Bethany: What the hell is going on here?
Patterson: [Patterson sighs covering her face] Uh, I'm - I'm so sorry. How did you find me?
Bethany: I'm FBI, that's how. Who is he and what is he doing with that photo?

[Jane Doe fires a pistol to save Agent Weller's life, at the same time having a flashback]
Ruggedly: [Jane see's a flashback of herself during a live-fire exercise, as the ruggedly handsome man see's over her training] You missed two. Do it again.
Jane: [Jane collapses to the floor over finally having her first memory] I remember something.

[Agent Nas tells Agent Weller that Jane Doe loves him]
Nas: Look... They made a mistake... when they killed Mayfair in front of her. She wants to bring them down, and... she's already killed her fiancé. She loved Mayfair. And she loved you.
Kurt: She's got a very funny way of showing it.

[Rich Dotcom tells the agents exactly where the Gardner paintings are located]
Rich: The works we seek are contained within an unassuming brownstone in the heart of Cobble Hill. This pleasant home belongs to a renowned art historian, decorated former Marine, and perpetrator of the Gardner heist, professor Randall Turner. The good professor teaches at some of the finest art schools in the city, when he's not being the finest burglar of the 20th century. Exacting, precise, and sociopathically brutal when the job calls for it. If you have unlimited funds, and a flexible moral compass, and a penchant for art that's not for sale, Turner is your man. But the Gardner job was special. That one he did for himself. And to keep his precious paintings safe, he built an entire house around them, complete with the most insane security system I've ever encountered.
Rich: [about each security measure] Security measure number one, the smart watch. On his wrist at all times, it disarms and re-arms every room as he walks through it. We turn down the wrong hallway without it, it triggers the alarm. Turner keeps his prized paintings in a windowless concrete gallery in the middle of his house, completely insulated from the outside world. To access it, we need to get past security measure number two, a 12-digit keypad lock, and security measure number three, a heat-sensitive palm scan. All of which brings us to security measure number four, and believe me, I've saved the worst for last. Each painting is tethered to five separate wires leading into the wall behind it. Remove the painting without disengaging the wires, and a shotgun blast fires from behind the canvas, destroying the paintings and killing any would-be thief. I mean, overkill much?

[Agent Patterson talks to the imaginary David at their dinner table]
Patterson: This was a mistake.
David: I know, you're more of a bullet girl.
Patterson: Just... coming here.
David: We love it here.
Patterson: David, you're dead.
Patterson: Details, details.

[Rich Dotcom asks Agent Weller and Jane Doe if they're actually married]
Rich: You two aren't actually married in real life? 'Cause you had some serious chemistry back at the Hamptons.
Kurt: [as Agent Allison Knight listens] It's all part of the act.
Rich: You know, that does make sense, because I was getting a lot of non-verbal sexual cues from you. So just so you know, I was picking up what you were putting down!

[the FBI team meets Boston Arliss Crab for the first time]
Rich: I present to you, Boston Arliss Crab, the world's premiere art restorer.
Jane: If he's the premiere art restorer, what's he wanted for?
Rich: He may have forged a painting or two... hundred.

[Agent Weller asks Jane Doe if Maya Ahmadi's eaten any of his cooking at the cottage]
Kurt: Any luck?
Jane: No, she won't even take a bite.
Kurt: Come on, Maya. You got to be hungry.
Jane: Maybe... she just doesn't like your cooking.
Kurt: That's impossible. Everyone loves my cooking.

[Jane Doe makes a request to Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair]
Jane: I have a request.
Bethany: A request?
Jane: I was wondering if we could drop my detail. I mean, I'm not under arrest, right? I'm not in custody. I'm risking my life with everyone else. And I think I've proven my loyalty by now.
Bethany: That detail is for your protection.
Jane: It should be my choice. I think I've earned that.

[Agent Zapata tells Asst. US Attorney Matthew Weitz she'll work with him]
Tasha: Thought about what you said... about Mayfair. If Mayfair's going down, she goes down alone. I don't want my friends to be dragged down with her.
Matthew: You got it, partner.
Tasha: [Zapata walks off] I'm not your partner.

[Sarah Weller secretly meets up with Agent Reade for dinner]
Sarah: The waitress's earrings cost more than my car.
Edgar: Never mind her earrings, I like your car. It's - It's an antique.

[Agents Weller, Reade, and Zapata kick down Chao's locked apartment room]
Kurt: [Weller see's the laptop sitting on the desk] Zapata, can you get us on that computer?
Tasha: I'm not gonna lie, I'm a bit hurt you had to ask me that.

[first lines]
Matthew: [Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair meets Asst. US Attorney Weitz who's cleaning out her office] Good morning, Assistant Director Mayfair. It's nice to meet you. Assistant US Attorney Matthew Weitz. My boss tells me great things about you.
Bethany: I'm sure she does, but why the hell are you packing up my office?

[Agent Patterson finds an anagram of stray letters within Jane's tattoos]
Kurt: What do you got?
Patterson: All right, so when we were first imputting these tattoos into the database, I noticed there were a lot of these small, stray letters all over Jane's body. They were hidden in other designs, but they had the same font. So I figured they were an anagram for something. 'A wrenchess leek knell' 'Leech kneel elks wren' There's about 1,000 of them. The rest of them are mostly just nonsense.
Edgar: And what you said wasn't just nonsense?

[Agent Patterson finds a damaged hard drive at Dr. Sparacino's lab]
Patterson: They didn't destroy everything. I recovered a partial video file off one of the damaged hard drives. They thought deleting them would stop them from - If you want to destroy a hard drive, use a high-powered magnet or...
Kurt: All right, what did you find?

[Chief Inspector Fischer walks up to Agent Patterson and the Russian informant Roman]
Chief: [as the two look over faces in the FBI database] And once again, Agent Patterson gives a random civilian access to FBI files. Are you trying to get someone in your immediate proximity killed?

[Agent Patterson talks to her boyfriend David on the phone, who recently cleaned her apartment]
Patterson: Did you touch my board games?
David: Yes. I alphabetized them.
Patterson: Wait... they were alphabetized, by game designer!
David: Oh. Um... well, I think I can remember...
Patterson: No, no, it - It - It's fine, I can just do it when I get home.

[Rich Dotcom asks Agent Weller about him and Agent Allison Knight dating]
Rich: So you two are dating, huh?
Allison: Just focus on the lock.
Rich: That explains why you're both so grumpy all the time. You're a terrible match. Way too similar. It's like trying to fit a square peg in a square peg. Also, I'm pretty sure she's a lesbian.

[Jane Doe questions Agent Weller about forgiving his father]
Jane: Why haven't you forgiven your father. You know, he didn't - That you were wrong about that night.
Kurt: It's more complicated than that.
Jane: You always say that, But - Why? What's so complicated?
Kurt: He was a terrible father. He was distant. He was drunk. Me being wrong about one night doesn't change any of that.
Jane: But he's sick, right?
[Weller hangs his head down]

[Kurt Weller tells Jane Doe about what happened after her disappearance]
Jane: What happened after I disappeared?
Kurt: The community imploded.
Jane: No, I... I mean what happened with you?
Kurt: We had a secret hiding spot in the woods at the back of our houses. It was your favorite place. I figured... if you ever got away, that's where you'd go. I never gave up on you. I know being Taylor might not be an answer to all of your problems. But it's a starting point. Something to hold onto, something to build from.

Nas: The FBI never knew about this Lelantos?
Patterson: We've heard the name and known about a mysterious courier for a while, but...
Tasha: Now we know they're one and the same.
Jane: Do we have an ID on him?
Patterson: No. Look, the guy is a ghost, but it's rumored that he's tatted up with this symbol.
Patterson: And he's moved some seriously scary stuff. Chemical weapons, a missing Turkish fighter jet.
Kurt: How do you move a fighter jet without getting caught?
Patterson: Exactly.

[Chief Inspector Fischer polygraph tests Agent Reade]
Chief: Have you ever removed Government property from this office?
Edgar: No.
Chief: Really, Agent Reade? Not a pen? Box of paperclips?
Edgar: Yes, I've taken a pen.
Chief: Ah, and did you share that property with someone else?

[last lines]
Kurt: [Weller listens to his father's last words] No...
Bill: Tell Sarah...
Kurt: Dad...
Bill: That I did my best. Under the fort.
[Weller cries as his father passes away in his bed]

Jane: Why take Reade, Zapata, and Patterson?
Roman: To bring you back. What, you thought you could just hide forever? Start some fresh, new life? No. No, we all have our prisons. These tattoos are yours.
Jane: And what about our friends? How do we get them back?
Roman: You don't. I sold them to the highest bidder. They're gone, but this isn't about them. This is about you.
Jane: Roman!
Roman: Let the games begin. Good luck, Jane Doe.

[Jane Doe asks Agent Weller if he's okay after she had to stab him with a Sarin gas antidote]
Kurt: I'm fine. I'm sore from where you stabbed me.
Jane: Sorry, next time I'll just let your internal organs melt.

[the agents and Rich Dotcom feel the pressure of disarming the power to Randall Turner's home]
Kurt: So... we have to be fast.
Allison: Yeah, or dead if he trips his kill switch.
Rich: If I'm Turner, I'm not gonna destroy my priceless beloved paintings over a false alarm. I don't think. Who feels lucky?

[Agent Weller tells Dr. Borden about the box he has of his father's last belongings]
Kurt: There's a box in my place. It's pictures. Clothes. It's the last belongings of my father. I can't throw it out. Why?
Dr. Robert Borden: That box is the last piece you have of him. Once it's gone, so is he.
Kurt: I want him gone. I hate him.
Dr. Robert Borden: He was still your father, Kurt. And you're still using the present tense.
Kurt: My hate is not going anywhere.
Dr. Robert Borden: That's because you're not dealing with it. Can you articulate where these feelings come from? If you can't name it, externalize it, then you can't move past it, Kurt.

[Jane Doe asks Oscar if the two of them are just gonna forget they had sex together]
Jane: Are we just gonna pretend like nothing happened last night?
Oscar: Well, I think that was, uh, that was probably a mistake. Right?
Jane: Right.
Oscar: Right.
[as Oscar kisses Jane on the mouth]

[first lines]
Patterson: [Agent Patterson continues to talk to the imaginary David about what puzzle he solved] 'Got one... Patterson.' Wait.
David: Pretty clever, huh? Took me forever to work it in there.
Patterson: You solved one of the tattoos! That's... Which one?
David: Seriously?
Patterson: Oh, right. Of course, you don't know because I'm imagining you.

Edgar: No increased chatter about Dabbur Zann activity in the U.S., but forensics found traces of nitroglycerin inside the container.
Kurt: That's a down and dirty way to make explosives.
Jane: So you think Stepulov smuggled in a bomb?
Kurt: That'd be my guess. First we have to ID his target before he strikes.

Patterson: I pulled the ATM and traffic cams. Here's our mystery men. No hits on facial rec.
Tasha: Of course, 'cause that would actually be helpful.

[Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair welcomes Jane Doe to the team]
Bethany: You'll need pass field certifications, of course. But, from what I hear, it won't be a problem.
Jane: Um... I'm on the team?
Bethany: Special Agents Weller, Zapata, and Reade, insisted. We still don't understand what's happening to you, but... we think you need to be part of figuring it out.
Jane: I don't know what to say.
Bethany: They trust you. So, I trust you.

[Agent Weller greets Rich Dotcom in prison]
Kurt: What have you got for us?
Rich: Okay, well, first of all, I don't love this dynamic. Where is, 'Hello'? Where is, 'Are you okay'? Where's, 'Hey Rich, those bruises make you look super tough'? Also, what are your real names?

Kurt: The only way to diffuse these bombs is by removing the trigger chip. And that is protected by an anti-tamper device. Now, usually we'd use a robot.
Jane: And we don't have a robot, so we're gonna have to do it by hand.
Kurt: Yeah. My hands don't fit, so...
Jane: Okay. Okay. Uh, just walk me through it.
Kurt: All right. You're gonna put your hand through that little gap. Pull out the tamper bar. It's asymmetrical, so you got to twist it and turn it to remove it. But you have to avoid touching the contact points.
Jane: Right.
Kurt: It's like the game of Operation. If the bar touches the sides, game over.
Jane: I've never played Operation.
Kurt: You don't know that. You might've. Could be one of your hidden talents, huh?

[Agent Patterson holds down Jane Doe's hand for finger prints]
Patterson: [Patterson pushes down as Jane shudders] Does that hurt?
Jane: Yes, they're - They're all a little sore.
Patterson: Your tattoos?
Patterson: [Jane nods her head] I'm going to need to image them.
Jane: All of them?
[the scene cuts to Jane Doe holding her body open in the nude, being scanned for her tattoos]

[Agent Reade comments on Agent Zapata's taste in men]
Edgar: I'm just glad to see you with a skinny dude for once.
Tasha: What are you talking about?
Edgar: Oh, come on. Your usual types are mixed between Gladiator and Viking.
Tasha: I do not have a type.
Edgar: I catch bad guys for a living, all right? The last two dudes you dated scared me.
Tasha: Then you scare easily, 'cause they were a loan officer and a soccer coach.

Tasha: Where the hell are we?
Edgar: I'm not sure yet. I just woke up an hour ago. I heard the guards talking Spanish outside, and our cell's locked with plenty of water and MRE, so whoever took us plans on keeping us for a while. That's all I got so far.
Tasha: It's good to see you. Even if it takes getting kidnapped. Can't believe it's been a year.
Edgar: It hasn't been that long.
Tasha: I just crossed 365 at the CIA. You haven't talked to me since I left. It's been a year.

[FBI Deputy Director Carter and Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair meet after Guerrero's suspicious murder]
Bethany: You are out of control.
Thomas: Well, good morning to you, too.

[Chief Inspector Fischer continues to polygraph Jane Doe]
Chief: Are you trained in the Russian martial arts Systema or Sambo?
Jane: Yes.
Chief: Ah, which one? For the record.
Jane: Both, I - I think.
Chief: [Fischer rolls his eyes] My.

[Rich Dotcom stands on the ledge of the rooftop as Jane Doe calls for him]
Rich: Ahktar was right, I'm a dead man. I can't go back to prison. Snitches get stitches. You heard that, right? No? I'm a bird... and birds are meant to fly!
Jane: How much coke have you had?

Nas: You know, Matthew, I have worked with a lot of men like you. You get off on instilling fear, 'cause it makes you feel more powerful. You wouldn't know what to do with real power.

[Agent Patterson comes up with a plan to stop the plane from climbing to 60,000 feet]
Patterson: [Patterson looks to Mayfair and Fischer behind her] I have a really bad idea that I think will work.
Jane: Okay, so what's the plan.
Patterson: I'm gonna walk you through shutting the engines off.
Jane: You're gonna what!

[Agent Patterson gives Agent Zapata the bugged locket]
Patterson: This locket has a listening device and a GPS tracker inside, so we can follow you while you're undercover. It's cute, right?
Patterson: [Zapata stares at Patterson while putting on the necklace] Not your style. That's cool.

[Chief Inspector Fischer tells Agent Weller the Russian operative is a woman in the FBI]
Chief: The traitor isn't at the Russian Embassy. She's right here at the FBI.
Kurt: What do you mean, 'She'?
Chief: [as Weller looks at the three women in question] Ms. Doe, Agent Zapata, Assistant Director Mayfair. They all had a dizzying number of inconsistencies on their polygraphs. Each of these women are hiding something. I'm gonna find out what.

[Agent Weller discusses his first missing girl case with Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair]
Kurt: I've been thinking about Taylor.
Bethany: Then maybe you should start talking to someone again.
Kurt: No, I don't wanna talk.
Bethany: Listen to me. That girl's disappearance was not your fault. You were ten years old.
Kurt: [Weller pauses and tells a story with flashback images] One of my last memories of her... we were climbing a tree in the backyard. And we were up pretty high. She was fearless. I was above her. I stepped on her hand accidentally. She slipped. She fell, cut herself. It left a really big scar, on the back of her neck. Jane has that same scar. Same eyes. She's the right age. I know why it's me. I know why her name is on her back. I think Jane Doe is Taylor Shaw.

[Dr. Borden asks Jane Doe to tell him the truth in their sessions]
Dr. Borden: What is it that you're not telling me? Hm? You're hiding something. You have been for weeks. I can't help you if you won't tell me the truth.
Jane: I'm not asking you to help me.
Dr. Borden: Yes, you are. You want me to tell you that it's okay to walk away, but I won't do that. Not without seeing the bigger picture. So, unless you're willing to be completely open with me, we are done here.
[Jane walks off from her session]

[Agent Patterson tells Agent Reade and Agent Zapata that they're her family]
Patterson: You guys are my family! If someone is threatening you, they're threatening me, but if you keep me in the dark I can't help you, and we're supposed to help each other, right? If something would have happened, and if there was something that I could have done and I... I can't take that.
Tasha: Understood.
Edgar: Truly.
Patterson: [Patterson sighs] Okay. Let's get back to committing numerous felonies.

Patterson: Listen, about before.
Edgar: Patterson, stay out of my business.
Patterson: I am not trying to be nosy. You're my friend, and I'm worried about you.

[Chief Inspector Fischer informs the FBI team that they're under investigation]
Chief: The FBI's New York office has been compromised. I'm here to spearhead the investigation and root out the traitor.
Edgar: [Reade looks to Weller] You knew about this?
Chief: Well... maybe Special Agent Weller had good reason to not trust you. Every closet has its skeleton. I look forward to meeting all of yours. And just to show that no one's above suspicion, Agent Weller, you're up first.

[Agent Weller visits Allison Knight outside her place of work]
Kurt: Well... I know you don't like football. Do you like basketball?
Allison: [Weller holds up two tickets as Allison chuckles] Not really, no.
Kurt: That's good, 'cause the game's almost over.
Allison: How were the seats?
Kurt: Garbage. At least, the beer's overpriced.

[Agent Reade asks Agent Patterson where Valentine Barker is?]
Edgar: Where's Valentine now?
Patterson: DEA doesn't know where Valentine or the weapons are.
Nas: She's at a bank in Queens trying to cash out her account.
Patterson: For real? Why don't I have access to that?

Jane: Roman is more useful now than ever.
Kurt: Jane.
Jane: His memories are coming back.
FBI: You knew about this?
Kurt: It is possible that his drugs are wearing off.
FBI: Oh. That changes things. We'll go public with Shepherd. Roman will go to the CIA to accelerate his recall.
Jane: You can't.
FBI: I can and I will. He'll be in a black site by the end of day.
Jane: [Pellington leaves] Please. There's got to be something we can do.
Kurt: I don't think there is, Jane.

[Agent Weller and Jane Doe unite together to make Sandstorm pay]
Kurt: You have to believe... I never wanted you to be tortured.
Jane: I thought I was... protecting you... all of you... by doing what they wanted. I was wrong. But the people who did this to us are still out there. And they need to be stopped. So let's make this right.
Kurt: Mayfair is dead, Jane. There's no making this right.
Jane: Then let's make them pay.

[Allison Knight tells Rich Dotcom that she's his date for the Ahktar meeting]
Allison: All right, let's get changed.
Rich: Um, I'm sorry, 'let's'? As in, le - Let us? As in you and me?
Allison: You think we're gonna let you go in there alone? I'm your date.
Rich: [Dotcom laughs] You? You're the coppest cop that ever copped. I walk in with you, I'll be dead before the doors open all the way.

[Agent Patterson and the FBI team watches Jane Doe get hooked up to a lie detector]
Edgar: What are they hooking her up to?
Patterson: An MRI-based coronary lie detector. It monitors even the smallest contractions in the veins, heart, and brain. It's 100% accurate, and it makes a polygraph look like a mood ring.
Tasha: Then why do we use a polygraph?
Patterson: Because... we're not allowed to inject our subjects with substantial doses of radioactive material.
FBI: It's not exactly legal.

[Agent Patterson and Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair discuss that Jane Doe may be a Navy SEAL]
Patterson: How's your Latin?
Bethany: Not great, but I know what this is. 'For God and Country'. It's a Navy SEAL tattoo.
Patterson: There's never been a female Navy SEAL.
Bethany: Do you think they'd advertise it if there were?
Patterson: No, but her fingerprints came back clean. If she was Navy, she'd be in our database.
Bethany: Not if she was Special Ops.

[last lines]
Kurt: [Agent Patterson tells Agent Weller about the test results to Jane Doe's teeth] Your DNA tests confirmed that she's Taylor Shaw. So what are you saying? That's not true?
Patterson: All I know is the DNA results directly contradict the isotope test.
Kurt: Is she Taylor Shaw, or not?
Patterson: Both tests are conclusive, but both can't be true. I don't know who she is.

[Dr. Borden tells Agent Patterson about the grieving process she has over David's murder]
Patterson: I'm supposed to move on, right? I mean, that's... the healthy thing to do?
Dr. Borden: Well, like I said, there's no right or wrong way to grieve. Sometimes allowing yourself to indulge in memories of a loved one is the best way to get closure.
Patterson: [Patterson sighs] Should I be paying you for this or...
Dr. Borden: [Borden smiles] Well, let's just call this two friends talking, hmm?

[Jane Doe sees Agent Weller outside the elevator]
Jane: There you are.
Kurt: In the flesh... mostly.

[Jane Doe unlocks Randall Turner's door in a couple seconds]
Jane: Ready?
Rich: I just got really turned on.

[Agent Zapata comments on Agent Reade's taste in women]
Tasha: If you would stop paying attention to the way people looked, maybe you'd get out of that rut.
Edgar: Rut? Who's in a rut?
Tasha: Oh, I see you... wiping that phone.
Edgar: It's a numbers game.
Tasha: [Zapata shrugs her head] Last of the romantics.

[Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair congratulates her team for arresting Mr. Tate]
Bethany: Maxwell Tate is facing charges on over 100 counts, ranging from bribery to sex-trafficking to first-degree sexual assault. He'll spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Patterson: As will the client who killed Paloma, a two-time state senator.
Bethany: And that's just the beginning. We're going after every last one of his clients.
Edgar: [Reade quotes Jane's tattoo that played as the clue] 'Some rise by sin.'

[Chief Inspector Fischer accuses Agent Weller of sleeping with Jane Doe]
Chief: You were sleeping with the enemy.
Kurt: Jane's not the enemy, and, no, we're not sleeping together.
Chief: [Fischer chuckles] That's adorable. We're all grown-ups here. You don't expect me to believe this just ended with a kiss.

[Jane Doe tries to talk to Agent Weller about when she first went missing 25 years ago]
Jane: You blame yourself, don't you?
Kurt: For what?
Jane: The night I went missing. You think it was your fault. You know, ever since you told me I'm Taylor, I've... been focusing on what that means for me, but... you've been living with this for 25 years. Have you talked to your dad about me?
Kurt: My dad and I... it's not that simple. I can't talk about it right now, Jane.

[Rich Dotcom tells Jane Doe one last thing before jumping off the building rooftop]
Rich: Jane, listen to me. Life is short, you follow your heart. You tell Weller how you feel!
[as Dotcom jumps off the ledge, opening up a parachute]

[Agent Patterson tells her boyfriend David that she doesn't want to be in a relationship with him]
Patterson: I... I can't do this.
David: You...
Patterson: I know you're different. Um, but I'm still the same. And I'm the reason that they move out. And this job... I love this job. But it takes all of me. And I can't be...
David: Happy?
Patterson: Distracted.
David: [David sighs before walking out] Well, I'll, uh... I'll leave you to it.

[Jane Doe meets CIA Deputy Executive Director Thomas Carter for the first time]
Jane: I thought we were all on the same team.
Thomas: [Thomas Carter chuckles] Oh, now that is adorable.

[last lines]
Edgar: [Agent Reade and Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair grow curious on Jane's true alibi] Circumstantial evidence is still evidence, and Fischer's case against Jane wasn't all that crazy. Just because she's not a Russian spy doesn't mean she didn't kill Carter. Where was she that night? Because I have some major reservations about Jane's alibi.
Bethany: Me, too. The question now is, what are we gonna do about it?

[last lines]
Patterson: [Agent Patterson solves the crossword puzzle] 'Got one... Patterson.'
Patterson: [Patterson looks to the imaginary David sitting across from her] Wait, you put this in for me. Got one what? Did you solve another tattoo?

[Jane Doe goes out for drinks with Agent Zapata and Agent Patterson]
Jane: [Jane downs a drink] Hmm! Ugh, that was too sweet.
Patterson: We are gonna find your drink if it kills us.
Jane: Can we just stop trying to solve puzzles for one night.
Jane: [the girls chuckle] It is nice to drink with people for a change.
Patterson: That went really dark.

[Agent Zapata responds to Agent Weller's working together speech]
Tasha: Feels like I just got yelled at in the principal's office.

Jane: So this Keele person wants me dead?
Jake: This Keele person is dead. He knew the CIA was closing in on him, but before he took his own life, our intel confirmed that he put a $10 million bounty on yours.
Kurt: So it's over, then?
Jake: No. The bounty's in escrow with a dark web fixer. It's still active, and we can't shut it down. The best assassins in the world are about to come at you. They're not gonna stop until someone collects, and they're not gonna care who's standing between you and them when they do.

Patterson: I'm sorry, I know I've been gone for a minute, but are we really letting Rich Dotcom, dark web supervillain, have access to FBI computer systems now?
Rich: Hey, Peppermint Patty, I'm a changed man, 'kay?
Eleanor: Rich is currently on probation, working with us on a sort of a work-release program.
Rich: Full release.
Edgar: The truth is he's got a lot to offer, and over the past year, he's actually done a lot to earn our trust.
Rich: You see that? That's leadership right there.
Kurt: Is... is there a briefing somewhere inside this briefing?

[Asst. US Attorney Matthew Weitz introduces himself to Agent Zapata]
Matthew: I don't care about your gambling problem. I don't even care that you sold confidential FBI documents to the CIA, which is a felony, by the way. What I am interested in is Tom Carter, his obsession with your Jane Doe, and what it all has to do with Asst. Director Mayfair. I'm not here to destroy your career.
Tasha: No, you're interested in making yours.

[Dr. Borden tells Agent Patterson he's recommending her to take some time off]
Dr. Borden: I'm going to recommend you take some time.
Patterson: No, please - Please don't sign that paper. I can't go back to my apartment. Everything there reminds me of him. His... Firefly DVD's, my board games. He didn't pick up the last of his clothes I think because he thought...
Dr. Borden: Agent Patterson, I just can't...
Patterson: Please, just... give me one day so I can be here with my team, because I know I that I can help.
Dr. Borden: One day, then we'll take it from there.

[Jane Doe holds a gun to the back of Agent Weller's head]
Kurt: I just wanna talk.
Jane: Yeah, with a gun in your hand.

[Jane Doe sits in the vehicle with the other Agents ready to look for the Robek brothers]
Jane: [Jane notices the Agents wiring themselves with ear pieces] Should I get one of those?
Kurt: You got one. It's there.
Jane: [Weller points, Jane see's the radio at the dashboard of the car] It's attached to the car.
Kurt: Yeah, so are you.

[first lines]
Beat: [a beat cop notices a bag lying on the sidewalk in the middle of Times Square] Do you know whose bag this is?
Pedestrian: No clue.
Beat: Ma'am, do you know whose bag this is? Excuse me, is this yours?
[the beat cop notices the tag left on the bag,: Call The FBI]

[Agent Patterson works on Bethany Mayfair's Biro safe password]
Patterson: Could be... security PIN.
Tasha: You know her security PIN?
Patterson: System administrator, I know all your PIN's.

Tasha: So, when did Oliver reschedule for?
Jane: Uh, we're gonna figure it out.
Tasha: You told him you ran a background check on him and he freaked out.
Jane: Pretty much.
Tasha: Did he at least say why he changed his name?
Jane: Uh, no, we didn't get that far. He was pretty hung up on the whole "massive invasion of privacy" thing.
Tasha: Boys. So sensitive.

[Agent Zapata talks to Agent Weller about Jane Doe]
Tasha: Why would they do this to her? Why kidnap a woman, wipe her memory, then tattoo her entire body with puzzles for us to solve?
Kurt: It makes her pretty hard to ignore.

[first lines]
Jane: [Jane Doe tells Agent Weller about a flashback she had] I had another memory. It was my most vivid one yet.
Kurt: What was it?
Jane: It was hot. I was high above the treetops. We were taking out a hostile target.

[Agent Patterson asks for David's help when tied up in Mark Waterman's basement]
Patterson: Here, pass me that chair.
David: How do you imagine I do that?
Patterson: Right.

[Agent Naz tells the FBI team that the DEA sells weapons to the Mexican cartel]
Kurt: How does a Mexican cartel steal weapons from the New York DEA?
Nas: They don't. The DEA sold them.
Jane: What?
Patterson: That was through the gun-waltzing program? Why couldn't I find that?
Nas: 'Cause you don't work for the NSA.

[last lines]
Kurt: [Agent Weller demands an answer from Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair] What the hell is going on? Why is that case on her body? Tell me the truth.
Bethany: Only three people in the world know what I'm about to tell you. The truth... it's called Daylight.

[Dr. Borden nervously asks Agent Patterson to dinner]
Dr. Robert Borden: W-Would you like to have dinner with me?
Patterson: [Patterson pauses] Oh, I...
Dr. Robert Borden: Sorry, that wasn't a great... um... Not now, obviously. You're obviously, um, you know, busy, now. But, you know, at some point, a proper dinner, in the future, as in, we'd make plans to go to dinner in the future. Um, am I making any sense?
Patterson: Yeah, yes. Yes.
Dr. Robert Borden: But, uh, yes, I'm making sense or...
Patterson: Uh, yes to dinner.
Dr. Robert Borden: [Patterson chuckles] Good, great. Uh, okay. Well, I'll e-mail you.
Patterson: Are you sure you can handle that? 'Cause that involves a computer.
Dr. Robert Borden: [Borden smiles] Or I'll just use a carrier pigeon or something.
[as the two chuckle together]

[Rich Dotcom tells the agents that he doesn't have the Gardner paintings]
Rich: Did I say I had them?
Jane: Yeah, that is exactly what you said.
Rich: No, I'm pretty sure I left that part intentionally vague. The important thing is that I know where they are. I just need your help stealing them so we can use them to trap Ahktar.
Allison: All right, this is not part of the deal.
Rich: It's not not part of the deal.

Tess: Back off!
Kurt: Give me the detonator.
Tess: Or what? You shoot me, I blow the truck, and we're all dead.
Kurt: You've gotta listen to me, Tess.
Tess: You don't understand.
Jane: We do understand. The system does have problems, but killing innocent people isn't the answer.
Tess: This is the only way for our voice to be heard. The only way to make things change.
Kurt: You're a soldier, right? So you've seen what happens when people use violence to send a message; how many lives it destroys. That is the easy way out, and you know it. Soldiers are trained to do what's right, not what's easy.
[lowering his gun]
Kurt: You need to give me that detonator, Tess.

[Agent Naz asks for Jane Doe to trust her]
Nas: Jane, I know that this isn't easy for you, but you have everything to gain by seeing this through.
Jane: And everything to lose if I don't.
Nas: Well, believe it or not, I am on your side. You don't have to like me, but... you can trust me. I promise.

[Assistant FBI Director Weller congratulates his agents on their latest counterfeiter bust]
Kurt: Nice work today, you two. What?
Tasha: Nothing.
Kurt: Something. What?
Edgar: It's just a little anticlimactic, don't you think? We spent an entire week tracking down a counterfeiter.
Kurt: It was a solid bust.
Tasha: We miss working the tattoos.

[Jane Doe tries to talk to Maya Ahmadi by sharing sketchbooks]
Jane: I was lost once, too. I sat in this very room and I was all alone. I didn't know where I was or how I got here. All I wanted was to go home. I want you to know you can trust us. These people, they've been helping me. And they can help you, too.
Jane: [Jane pulls out her own sketchbook] This is my sketchbook. I draw when I'm scared or when I'm happy, too. It helps me think. Do you want to have a look?
Jane: [Maya looks through the sketchbook when Jane holds Maya's hand] I promise you'll be safe now. I won't let anything bad happen to you.

[Dr. Borden tells Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair and Agent Weller about the drugs in Jane Doe's system]
Dr. Borden: Are you familiar with the PKM-zeta inhibitor, commonly known as 'ZIP'?
Bethany: Doctor, you and I have very different ideas of what 'commonly' means.
Dr. Borden: Zeta Interacting Protein. It's an experimental drug being tested with PSD sufferers - Rape victims, soldiers who've seen combat. Used sparingly, it can erase selective memories.
Bethany: And you found traces of it in our girl?
Dr. Borden: No. Not traces. Her whole system is flooded with it. I - I've never seen anything like it before. It's created a chemically induced state of permanent amnesia. She can't remember who she is, where she came from, nothing... before she crawled out of that bag in Times Square.
Kurt: So, what does this got to do with me?

[Agent Weller tells Jane Doe that she was kind of a pyro when she was younger]
Kurt: When you were a kid, you were kind of a pyro.
Jane: Really? What did I set fire to?
Kurt: Everything. We went camping. This spot had all these little plots. They had cheesy western names like Monument Valley and Little Big Horn. You remember any of that? Anyway. You used to poke your stick in the fire, run around that site like a pyromaniac setting fire to everything.
Jane: Wow, I was a menace.

[the FBI team searches for the allusive guy named Shawn Palmer, who's using software to track and kill government agents]
Tasha: Palmer's security firm is a front. Outstanding warrants for unauthorized computer access, wire fraud, identity theft. And, ladies, he is single.
Kurt: And invisible. Cyber Division couldn't even find a photo, let alone an address.
Patterson: I could find his username with DARPA's deep Web crawler. Or, track his Bitcoin usage in the Blockchain.
Kurt: Or Ana could just tell us where he lives. She's been to his house.
Patterson: Oh, sure, I mean, it's a little analog, but...

[Agent Weller tells Jane Doe a story about his childhood with Taylor Swift]
Kurt: [Weller sits beside Jane who's looking at a photo of the younger Taylor Shaw] We had a creek at the back of our house. Just out there. Used to go fishing there with my dad. We didn't - We didn't catch much, but, uh... I loved being out there. My sister, she was always inside playing with her dolls, but, uh... you were a tomboy. Anytime I was outside, you'd run out of your house and try to tag along.
Kurt: [Weller chuckles continuing with the story] We... we had this little wooden fort. I haven't thought about that for a long time.
Patterson: [Agent Patterson interrupts by walking into the office room] Sorry. Weller, can I steal you for a second?
Kurt: Okay.
Kurt: [Weller stands up with a light smile] It's really nice... to have you back.

[Agent Weller holds the last painting up as Rich Dotcom cuts the back tension wires]
Rich: So tell me again why you're not with Jane? 'Cause I mean every time something goes wrong, or right for that matter, you look at Jane first - Not Allie, Jane.
Kurt: It doesn't mean a thing.
Rich: Some people might think it means you're more worried/excited about Jane, than you are about lady Tommy Lee Jones over there.
Kurt: [as Weller talks in a low voice] Why don't you focus on cutting the wires and disarm the shotgun at my face and stop talking about Jane.
Rich: I can do both. I'm an excellent multi-tasker.

[the FBI team goes over Rich Dotcom's background]
Patterson: Born Gord Enver. Pretty decent programmer. Knocked around, he made a reasonable living as a tech mercenary. But here's the thing. He was one of the first guys in the world to realize that the Bitcoin was going to be a big deal. Put everything he had into it, and within a couple years, he was worth 1/2 billion dollars.
Tasha: Smart guy.
Patterson: After that, he changed his name to Rich Dotcom.
Tasha: I take it back.

[Dr. Borden gives Agent Patterson advice about what to do with her dinner reservations]
Dr. Borden: I think you should go.
Patterson: What?
Dr. Borden: To the dinner. I think you should go. Instead of trying to bury yourself in your work and forget about David, why don't you take the night to celebrate him? Go to that restaurant, have a glass of wine, toast David and all the wonderful memories you have with him.
Patterson: I - I don't know. That just seems... I mean, he's gone.

[Dr. Borden runs a test with Jane Doe]
Dr. Borden: I have something I'd like to try. It's called a rorschach test, and it's designed to analyze personality characteristics and emotional functioning. But with your amnesia, my hope is that ethereal nature of the images might provoke another memory. So, tell me what you see when you look at these.
Jane: [Borden flips the projector image] A spider web. Is that right?
Dr. Borden: There's no right or wrong. Let's try another one, shall we?
Jane: [Jane has a flashback of herself training from the second image] A target.

[Agent Patterson says that Bethany Mayfair can still be alive]
Patterson: Okay... just because she was shot doesn't mean she's dead.
Tasha: There was a lot of blood.
Patterson: The human body holds a lot. We have a lot to lose.

[CIA Deputy Director comments on Jane Doe's fighting ability]
Thomas: I just saw your team mascot take one of my best guys out in less than three seconds. That's quite a weapon.

[Jane Doe talks to Agent Weller on the plane ride home about the two of them]
Jane: When we were separated in the woods, I... kept thinking about you... and me and Taylor Shaw. We're in this together.
Kurt: [the plane rattles as Weller holds Jane's hands down] How can you fly a chopper out of a combat zone... and still be scared of a little turbulence?
Jane: I think it's got something to do with being in control.

[Agent Zapata questions Agent Nas' plan with Jane Doe]
Tasha: So we're just letting her drive away?
Edgar: Arguably not one of our better plans.

[Sarah Weller makes a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for her son when Kurt Weller walks in]
Kurt: It's gonna get soggy by the time he eats it. You got to put peanut butter on both sides first then jelly in the middle.
Sarah: Oh, sorry, I had no idea you were such an expert on PB&J.
Sarah: Well, that I am.

[the FBI team learns about the TRAKZER App and the Dark Web]
Patterson: One of the shooters had a mobile app I never heard of called TRAKZER. It hacks into the GPS signals from 'Blue Force trackers' on government vehicles and maps their exact location.
Bethany: Where'd they get this and who else has it?
Patterson: The transactions are untraceable. Probably done through the Dark Web.
Jane: The Dark Web? That doesn't sound good, what is that?
Tasha: 95% of the internet is an index on commercial search engines.
Edgar: Yeah, the Dark Web is like the Wild West. Everything from weapons to sex trafficking.

[Jane Doe tells Agent Naz that she doesn't trust the laws of America anymore]
Jane: I've seen the laws this country's willing to violate, and all I've seen Sandstorm do is expose corruption and save lives. How can you be so sure we're on the right side of this?

[Agent Weller tells Jane Doe what he did with Taylor Shaw's body]
Jane: Why haven't you told anybody that you found Taylor's body? I searched her name, and nothing new comes up.
Kurt: [Weller sighs] I exhumed her body in secret and buried her.
Kurt: [Weller chuckles] Somewhere peaceful. My team knows. Sarah knows. Taylor's family is gone now. And so is her killer. So I don't see what good the truth will do anyone else. So let the horror of what my father did die with him.
[as Weller tears up]

[the agents get the doors open to the Gardner paintings room, needing something to hold the doors open]
Rich: We need to find something to brace the doors open or else they're just gonna slam shut when the power comes back on.
Rich: [Weller reaches to a bronze Eagle statue, shoving it between the closing doors] Hey, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait... that is the bronze Eagle finial. You just made a $100,000 doorstop.
Kurt: You're welcome.

Kurt: [helping Patterson disarm an IED] I don't say this enough. You're very good at your job.

[Jane Doe makes it clear to Oscar she doesn't trust him]
Oscar: Okay, listen, I - I know what I said last night may have... eroded some trust between us.
Jane: No. I never trusted you.

[Agent Weller talks to Agent Sloane's Russian informant]
Roman Kozar: Sloane told me I'm off the hook if I come in. Now, I am not talking until I see a deal in writing.
Kurt: [Weller sighs, before raising his phone up to the two of them] Look at that camera.
Kurt: [Weller smiles before snapping a picture] Here's the deal - You start talking, or I send that to the Russian Embassy.

Nas: It's a control freak's worst nightmare to find out that someone else was at the wheel for the most crucial parts of their life.
Kurt: You think I'm a control freak?
Nas: [they share a smile] Shepherd may have once had a say in your future, but Kurt, don't let her drive you mad today by second guessing your leadership over this office.
Kurt: If someone else was sitting in that chair, they might have seen Agent Boyd's program sooner. I've just been so focused on Sandstorm.
Nas: And personal complications?
Kurt: Yeah, that's part of it.
Nas: Great leaders know that it is impossible to take everything on themselves. You do that, and you really do start to lose sight of the bigger picture.
Kurt: But as a leader, there are some things I can do better.

[Agent Zapata tells the other agents that the terrorist group must be Dabbur Zann]
Tasha: [with their hands up and automatic weapons on them] They hate the U.S. meddling in the Middle East. They vowed to burn us down. Whatever it is they have planned, it's not gonna be good for us.
Kurt: We've gotta stop them.
Edgar: Sure, let's get right on that.

[Agent Nas questions Jane Doe on what happened to Assistant Director Mayfair and Oscar]
Nas: Where is Assistant Director Mayfair right now? Jane?
Jane: [Jane shudders] She's dead. She found us, but I don't know how. But she... And then Oscar killed her. He promised me no one would get hurt, and then he killed her.
Nas: Where's Oscar now?
Jane: He's dead. I tracked him down, I wan... I wanted to bring him in to put an end to all of this. But he attacked me, so I killed him. Uhh! I killed him!

Kurt: Just tell us where they are.
Stuart: The Venezualan government has them.
Rich: Yes, and if my intel is correct, they're being held in a military training facility somewhere near the base of the Caroni River.
Eleanor: Unfortunately, our relationship with Venezuela being what it is, there'll be zero assistance on their end.
Jake: Which is why she called me. I know a group of rebels that'll meet you at an airstrip about three clicks from the base. They'll get you all the gear you need, but you have to infiltrate the compound on your own.
Stuart: Um, shouldn't we just call the President or something? If we get caught sneaking FBI into a non-extradition country, it can spark an international incident.
Eleanor: They bought our friends, enslaved them under God knows what conditions. I'll do whatever I have to to get them back.

[Chief Inspector Fischer talks to Jane Doe after putting her into custody]
Jane: You have the wrong person, I'm innocent.
Chief: Innocent people have alibis. So where were you the night Carter was killed?
Jane: I didn't kill him.
Chief: Maybe not. It only means whatever you were up to til 4:00 a.m. that morning must've been worse. I collected my evidence against you in a matter of hours. Imagine what I'll find in a few days or weeks, or months. As you sit in a dark hole, awaiting treason. I'm going to bury you, Jane.

[last lines]
Patterson: [having broken into an encrypted cell phone] Whoa. I didn't think that was actually gonna... damn, I'm good.
Kurt: Yes, you are.
[seeing the icon of a video file]
Kurt: What's that?
Patterson: [opening the file] It's a rough draft Jane.
Jane: [on the video] How does it look?
Kurt: Sandstorm did a practice run.
Patterson: Oh, my god. Look at her neck.
Kurt: It's an extra tattoo.
Patterson: Why the hell would Sandstorm remove that one?

[Jane Doe gets nervous on the plane while flying to Draclyn with the FBI team]
Tasha: So, I guess you weren't a fan of flying in your past life, huh?
Jane: [Jane gasps] No, I guess not.
Tasha: It's okay, a doctor once told me that turbulence can't take down a plane.
Jane: Well, I'd feel a lot more comfortable if a pilot told you that.

[Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair questions Agent Reade about his odd behavior]
Bethany: I think we're wired the same. Even as a young agent, everybody knew me as a straight shooter.
Edgar: I'll take that as a compliment.
Bethany: The only time I strayed away from my instincts was when I was scared. Now, I don't know what you're dealing with, but I think you need to tell me.

[Agent Weller and Sarah Weller talk while driving back to their childhood home]
Kurt: Jane remembers fishing in Anderson creek. Her DNA matches Taylor's. Dad was on a lot of morphine, so... Maybe his mind was playing tricks on him. Or... Maybe mine was.
Sarah: Kurt, I know you. Okay, you're just gonna keep turning this over in your head for the rest of your life. It's gonna affect your relationship with me, Sawyer, Taylor. We need to see what's under that fort.

[hacker Ana Montes attempts to help Agent Patterson break through Shawn Palmer's firewall]
Patterson: Don't touch my keyboard!
Ana: Okay.
Patterson: You are a hacker. This computer is behind the FBI firewall. No way you're touching this, kid.
Ana: Was just gonna suggest entering through the emergency cell backup on his smart-home control...
Patterson: Yes, and accessing his cameras and the alarms. I was just gonna do that, if you would just... let me type.

[Jane Doe tries to ask Oscar for some answers]
Oscar: Your colleagues, the FBI, they're into some very, very terrible things.
Jane: No... they're good people and they're my friends.
Oscar: Friends don't imprison you.

[in a flashback, Jane remembers her training for being tortured]
Roman: [as Jane's head is held underwater] Their job is to make you feel like you're about to die. Your job is not to believe them. Your body might get weak, but your mind is strong.

Zach: I wanted to topple the government. I didn't want to hurt civilians. I knew there'd be casualties, but not like this.
Kurt: Does the satellite control the weapon?
Patterson: Kinetic bombardment. The satellite is the weapon. Shepherd plans to bomb D.C., doesn't she?
Jane: [Riley gives a small nod] How?
Zach: The satellite is designed to launch a glider at hypersonic speeds. It is undetectable, it's unstoppable, but it was only supposed to target the White House.
Patterson: But now it's gonna hit Shepherd's nuclear material, which is probably already on the ground in Washginton.
Kurt: There's gotta be some way that we can stop it.
Zach: No. The glider has a guidance chip, but it can't be overwritten.
Jane: The chip I stole with Roman.
Patterson: If Shepherd has as much nuclear material as we're thinking, evacuating the White House does nothing. This attack will wipe out the whole Eastern seaboard.

[Agent Patterson finds the Trakzer code for the team]
Patterson: I checked the signature elements in Trakzer's source code against our malware database.
Jane: [Jane responds with] I understood the word 'database'.

[Jane Doe takes advice from Dr. Borden about how to handle her contact with Agent Weller]
Dr. Borden: Your relationship with Agent Weller is... complicated. He's your colleague, your protector, your childhood friend.
Jane: Yeah, and now he's in my dreams. He's everywhere.
Dr. Borden: Maybe you need to establish clearer boundaries.
Jane: How do I do that?
Dr. Borden: To start... try keeping your interactions with him limited to a professional context. At least for now.
Jane: Right.

[Agent Weller prepares to shoot down Pan-Asian 921 with him and Jane still on the plane]
Kurt: [Weller holds Jane's hand] Jane... I'm sorry that I brought you here, all right? I chose this life, you didn't. You never had a choice.
Jane: Yes, I did.

[first lines]
Unknown: [in a flashback, two men dig a hole under a cabin and bury a case] Okay. If the wrong people find it...
Mysterious: The right people will.
Unknown: How can you be sure?
Mysterious: Because I have to be.

[Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair tells Agent Weller to not tell his team about the mole]
Bethany: No one can know your real objective. It needs to look like business as usual.
Kurt: I'm not gonna lie to my team.
Bethany: Sometimes you have to. Look... I think we need to prepare for the possibility that it could be one of our guys. And even if it's not, Internal Investigations are divisive. You start looking for one thing, who knows what else you're gonna find.

Roman: Get out.
Jane: I never meant to hurt you, and I never wanted to lie. I was trying to help.
Roman: You're still lying. Everything you did, you did for yourself.
Jane: That's not true.
Roman: I saved your life. Shepherd wanted to kill you and I stopped her. And this is the thanks I get. My memory erased, my... my whole life stolen.
Jane: Wiping your memory was the only way I could bring you into the FBI. It was that or one of us killing the other. It was my only choice.
Roman: It wasn't your choice to make. My memories are coming back. And the more I remember, the more I hate you.

Jane: I want to bring Roman in on this missing kids case.
Kurt: Jane, he's not an FBI agent.
Jane: Well, technically, I'm not, either.
Kurt: I cleared Roman to assist us with Sandstorm cases, not tattoo cases.
Jane: He feels trapped. He's out of his cell, but he's still isolated. This could give him purpose.
Kurt: Or it could overwhelm him. He needs to become acclimated to his new situation.
Jane: I think he's ready.
Kurt: Even if he is, Weitz is out for blood. Now, today is not a good day to get Roman to assist us with this case.
Jane: Roman was raised at an orphanage. He could have useful insights.
Nas: I think Jane is right. Roman had an underlying loyalty for Shepherd. It he feels rudderless now, we could risk a backslide.
Jane: Look, this is a chance for us to show the good that we do, that his loyalty is in the right place with us.
Kurt: All right. When Roman finishes his session with Dr. Sun, we can bring him in, but we have to keep him out of Weitz's crosshairs.

Cade: You know, I wanna catch Shepherd just as much as you do. So what now?
Kurt: You're facing charges for treason and terrorism for your role in Sandstorm.
Cade: I mean with Shepherd. Do you have any other leads?
Kurt: [turing to leave, then stopping] I'm sorry about your dad. My uncle was a miner. He was on the job for thirty-two years.
Cade: I know. Shepherd talked about you a lot.
Kurt: What else did she tell you? My role in her plans?
Cade: No. Like I said, those details were strictly need to know.
Kurt: You told Nas to follow the cogs. Is that me?
Cade: It's just something I heard Shepherd say once. Didn't hear the context.
Kurt: It doesn't make sense. Why does Shepherd care about me so much?
Cade: Shepherd doesn't care about you. Or anyone. Look at her own children. She loved them, and she tried to kill them. She's protecting you because you're still useful. The second you're not... things tend to get real simple.

[first lines]
Jane: [Jane Doe talks to Oscar] So what now?
Oscar: Now... your first mission.
Jane: [Oscar holds up a pen] What is that?
Oscar: It's an exact replica of Mayfair's pen.

[last lines]
Jane: [Jane asks Oscar one final question] What is Orion?
Oscar: You already got enough answers tonight.
Jane: No... this isn't a game to me. What is Orion?
Oscar: Orion... is where you died.

[Freddy asks Agent Reade why he isn't testifying against Coach Jones]
Freddy: Why aren't you testifying?
Edgar: Testifying about what? I never saw anything.
Freddy: Saw anything? You were there.
Edgar: Where? What the hell are you talking about?
Freddy: You don't remember.
Edgar: Remember what, Freddy?
Freddy: That's why you so together, why you not still down in the basement with the rest of us, watching our game tapes with him. You actually don't remember, do you, Edgar?
[as Reade walks away]

[the inmate Tiny accuses Rich Dotcom of cheating while playing cards]
Tiny: Nobody's that lucky.
Rich: No, but thankfully I am that smart, and you three are the twitchiest, shiftiest, telling-est convicted felons in the history of the game of Poker. No wonder you got caught.
Tiny: What did you just say to me?
Rich: You have tells. Whenever Draco has a bad hand, he licks his lips... when Kentucky gets anything remotely good, he can't stop blinking, and whenever you have a pocket pair, you start to wax philosophically about every murder you ever committed. So if being the smartest person in the room and being a master of reading faces is cheating, then, yeah, okay, I'm a cheater. But if you're done wasting my time, maybe we can get back to playing some cards.
[when Tiny lifts up Rich's sleeve to find him cheating]

[Agent Weller checks on Jane Doe at her safe house]
Kurt: How you feeling, Jane?
Jane: Physically, okay. I'm a little banged up, but they said that my arm's gonna be fine. Um, emotionally, I - I, uh... I don't know. How did you know that I could make that shot?
Kurt: I didn't know. I took a chance on you.
Jane: None of this feels real.
Kurt: Jane... you're gonna be okay. I promise.
Jane: [Jane tears up from being scared] I don't know what that feels like.
[Weller hugs Jane when he notices a scar on the back of her neck]

[last lines]
Oscar: Cade's dead. We beat him. Things are back on track.
Jane: So what now?
Oscar: Now you go home. And I'll see you tomorrow?
Jane: Yeah.

[Kurt Weller tells Jane Doe about everything being his fault]
Kurt: You've been through so much. And if I'm making this harder for you, then just tell me, 'cause that's the last thing I want. All of these expectations... I should never have put you in that situation.
Jane: Kurt...
Kurt: [Weller begins to have tears in his eyes] I should never have let them take you. I'm... I'm sorry.
Jane: It wasn't your fault.
Kurt: [Weller smiles still with tears in his eyes] I've heard that... my whole life.
Jane: But you haven't heard it from me. It wasn't your fault. You told me Taylor was my starting point. I think you're wrong.
Jane: [Jane reaches down and holds Weller's hand to her chest] You... you're my starting point.

[Agent Weller shows Jane Doe Taylor Shaw's favorite doll]
Jane: [Weller drops the doll on the table] What is that?
Kurt: It was Taylor's. It was her favorite doll. She took it everywhere. She couldn't sleep without it. So he buried her with it.
Jane: What?
Kurt: He buried her with it, Jane. My father... killed Taylor Shaw, 25 years ago. He told me, right before he died. So... if Taylor Shaw is dead...
Kurt: [Weller cocks his gun] Then who the hell are you?

[Jane Doe tells Kurt Weller about the way he looks at her]
Jane: I see the way that you look at me... and I don't know how to be this person that you lost.

[Jane Doe and the FBI team stop the missiles from shooting down a plane]
Edgar: Holy hell.
Nas: [Naz sighs] We actually did it.
Patterson: We always do. I mean, you know, so far.

[first lines]
Armored: [the two guards hear the beat box music from the back of the armored truck] What is this noise? You know we can hear that crap back here.
Armored: Seriously man, turn it off...
Armored: [when the driver slams on the brakes] What the hell!

Kurt: Why is Roman doing this? And what's his endgame?
Jane: If this was just about revenge, he had plenty of chances to kill all of us. Why the new tattoos?
Kurt: We have to recover the team, get back to New York, and work all this out.
Jane: Rich and Stuart need time to crack the phone anyway. Maybe we should just use it to get this bounty off my head.
Kurt: We don't know anything about this guy. And never mind that drug he wants you to inject yourself with.
Stuart: Succinylcholine. It actually does exactly what Roman says it does, reduce the heartbeat to an undetectable level.
Rich: Yeah, I've actually used it on myself a bunch to sneak across the border as a dead body. Also for some sex stuff that I... probably shouldn't bore you two with. The point is the only real danger here is if you don't take the antidote within ninety minutes, you actually die.
Jane: I'm a walking target, Kurt. And I am tired of running.

[Agent Zapata stands in the middle of her apartment remembering the bug Chief Inspector Fischer found]
Tasha: Can you hear me? Whoever's listening to me right now, I know you're there - Fischer showed me the bug. So why don't you stop wasting everybody's time and talk to me? I'm right here. All you gotta do is call.
[Zapata takes a drink of her beer, as her phone rings]

Rich: Okay, can you please stop using 'el libro'? it literally just means the book, okay? Just because you are saying it in Spanish does not make it muy interesante!

Patterson: Shepherd overrode DHS defenses and tried to muscle her way into six other federal buildings with explosives, just like she did here.
Jane: Tried to?
Patterson: Getting the word out... allowed Homeland Security to stop four other attacks, but... two buildings just came down. One in Boston, one in San Francisco.
Jane: Oh, my god.
Patterson: Law enforcement casualties are still being tallied, but... they're minimal.
Kurt: How many civilian casualties?
Patterson: None. They were all evacuated in time.
Jane: So we saved thousands of lives.
Kurt: Unfortunately, that's not what people will remember.

[Agent Reade pays a visit to his old football friend Freddy]
Freddy: What are you, an accountant or something?
Edgar: FBI, actually.
Freddy: [Freddy chuckles] FBI? This is a friendly visit right?
Edgar: Yeah, it's friendly, it's friendly.

[Agent Reade saves a group of students and has them follow him through the hallway]
Edgar: This way, everybody follow me. This way!
Edgar: [Reade turns a door handle that triggers a bomb] Everybody get back. I think I just... triggered a bomb here. And I don't want anyone to panic. Everybody, just carefully...
Edgar: [Reade turns around to see the students running away from him] ... Get to safety.

[Jane Doe talks to Dr. Borden about her first dream]
Jane: A breakthrough? It was a dream.
Dr. Borden: Your first dream, which you considered significant enough to mention to me. A sex dream.
Jane: So what does it mean?
Dr. Borden: Well, that depends on who you ask. Most people believe that dreams are the brain's ways of processing how we feel about things. So, who do you think it was, this dream man?
Jane: Um, something tells me you have a theory.
Jane: [Dr. Borden remains quiet] What, you think it's Weller?
Dr. Borden: You said that, not me.

[Both the CIA and FBI agents aim guns at one another]
Bethany: Go to hell.
Thomas: You sure you want to start a war with me today?
Bethany: [Mayfair looks at the drawn guns] No... not today.

[Agent Zapata admits what happened to her first partner at a Gamblers Anonymous meeting]
Tasha: I was a cop, the 96th Precinct. One night on patrol, my partner and I, we, uh, answered a domestic call, some drunk beating on his wife. And we get there and the woman, she's hysterical, nose broken, lacerations, it was bad. And so I'm helping her while my partner talks to the husband. I didn't see it happen. I didn't see the gun he pulled from the couch. Didn't see him shoot my partner point blank before turning the gun on himself. After that, I, uh... My life was a mess. His death was so random. So... You know, as dumb as it sounds, when I was gambling, I knew the rules. Even when I was losing, it was on my terms, it was something I could control. But it doesn't really feel that way anymore.

[Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair lectures Agent Patterson about breaching FBI security with her boyfriend]
Bethany: Do you have any idea how dangerous your actions were? Those tattoos are not some Sunday morning crossword puzzle. They contain extremely sensitive, classified intelligence, all of which have led us to volatile criminal activity. You put the case, yourself, and a civilian at great risk.
Patterson: I know. I - We were just trying to solve - I screwed up. I'm so sorry. Is David in trouble?
Bethany: He's in holding. I have to vet him to assess his threat level.
Patterson: He's not a threat.
Bethany: That's not for you to decide.
Patterson: Oh, my God. Am I about to be fired?
Bethany: [Mayfair pauses] Everyone gets one mistake. One. This one is yours.

Patterson: Thank you. If you hadn't found me... I was really scared.
Kurt: We all were.
Patterson: Okay. Okay. Okay. I want you to look at something.
Kurt: No. Tomorrow.
Patterson: Please. Just let me do this.
Kurt: Yes, ma'am.
Patterson: Okay.
Kurt: [she shows him her laptop] How did you find that?
Patterson: Borden, or, sorry, "Nigel" - creeper name - told me that his wife was killed in a hospital that was newly constructed. I already had a time frame off of Jane's Orion photo and a sense of the region based on his wife's wedding ring. So I cross-referenced all of that against hospital construction dates, and voila. Dr. Nigel Thornton. And he didn't even go to a very good medical school.
Kurt: Nice work. Now... please, get some sleep.

[first lines]
Sophia: [Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair has a flashback of her conversation with Sophia Varma] I need new passports. I need to secure a safe passage into another country. I need...
Bethany: Money, you came back to me because you need money.
Sophia: I love you, Bethany. But I had to run, and if you were smart, you would do the same.
Bethany: I don't run.

Kurt: So where do we start?
Jane: At the beginning. The first tattoo we ever solved.
Kurt: It's behind your left ear.
[looking behind her ear]
Kurt: "Not causeless is this journey into the abyss."
Jane: That doesn't sound very good.
Kurt: [on his phone] It's from "Dante's 'Inferno'." Canto VII-10.
Jane: You don't think they mean...
Kurt: July 10th. The day that I proposed to you in Venice.
Jane: Well, the clue's an Italian reference.
Kurt: So they want us to go back to St. Mark's Square.
Jane: It's all happening again. Isn't it?
Kurt: But you still have a hit on you. That hasn't changed. If you don't want to come, I understand.
Jane: Our best friends are missing. The first clue to saving them is the first day of our engagement. We have to do this. Together.

[last lines]
Matthew: [US Attorney Weitz accuses Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair of triple homicide] I know what you're thinking. Yeah, yeah. It's the exact same thing I was thinking. You get yourself a $1,000-an-hour defense attorney, he drives hairpin turns through these cones, dismisses most of it as circumstantial. But then I went back and I thought, what is the most basic building block of any criminal investigation? Follow the money. Donna was blackmailing you, we searched her apartment and we found the cash that you gave her, $48,345. The exact same amount you withdrew from your account just days earlier. Your fingerprints are on the bills, Bethany. There is not a lawyer in the land who can get you out of this. So... you go ahead and you call a lawyer, and you ask for that plea deal, because life without parole is the best you're gonna get.

Kurt: I told Roman that I know about Emma.
Jane: I know you're angry, but be angry at me. This wasn't his fault.
Kurt: Roman wants me to be angry at him, and you want me to be angry at you. Don't worry. I've got enough for both of you.
Jane: Roman is destroyed by what he did. You and I both know he's not the same person now, just like I'm not the same person. You were able to look past the things that I had done before I came to the FBI. I'm asking you to try to find a way to give Roman that same shot.
Kurt: When Emma died, I felt like there was no one left that missed Taylor as much as I do. Emma was the only person that never told me to move on. She never told me to stop searching. And now, to find out she was killed because of her connection to me...
Jane: I know exactly how that feels.
Kurt: It's just another part of my life that's been manipulated and destroyed by Shepherd.
Jane: We're gonna get her, and when we do, we're going to get every last answer we deserve.

[Captain Rossi pushes to want to see officer Costello in the hospital]
Bethany: Johnson's dead. And Costello is being transported to a hospital in Queens. Also, we found their burner phones, and it looks like you were gonna be targeted next.
Captain: I want to talk to Costello.
Bethany: You're a little close to this. Captain, why don't you let us handle...
Captain: She killed three of my people. I want to talk to her. I wanna look her in the eye. I'm owed that much.

Patterson: [about the alternate name of the Big Dipper] The Plough? Who even calls it that?
Rich: British people. They got different names for everything - chips, crisps, who know what the hell they're talking about.

[Charlie Napier talks to his mother Catherine Napier for the first time since his fake death]
Sgt. Charlie Napier: Mom, I-I'm sorry.
Catherine: I prayed for you every night. Oh, Charlie... Where did you go?
Sgt. Charlie Napier: I was in hell, but I got out. I saw the face of God. Mom, he told me to go home to you.

[Agent Patterson reads the results for Jane Doe's tattoos]
Patterson: All of her tattoos - Are brand new - All of them.
Bethany: What? How new?
Patterson: Judging by the healing, no more than a few weeks.
Bethany: Her entire body was tattooed all at once? And why would they do that?
Kurt: It's a treasure map.
Bethany: Come again?
Kurt: Look at it. There's no 'X' that marks the spot. There's hidden letters, random numbers, map pieces without context or names. It's a puzzle. And the first piece couldn't be clearer.

[General Sheridan continues to tell the FBI team his motives]
Kurt: Do you realize how selfish your actions are?
General: I lived through Iraq. I saw innocent lives destroyed by chemical weapons, kids with horrible deformities, entire villages wiped out because Saddam knew he could get away with it, that we wouldn't retaliate. That can't happen again.

Kurt: Rich, we're not playing any more of your games.
Rich: Oh, this is not a game. This is very, very real. Now, I'm gonna give you back full control of your computers for a price. On the top floor of your building, there is a secret Air Force drone command center. I'd like you to use that to bomb the following coordinates.
Kurt: [the coordinates appear on the screen] No. Not a chance.
Rich: Well, then, in that case, I'm gonna delete every FBI server in existence. Including the backups. So, goodbye, a hundred years of FBI history, not to mention any active investigations! Goodbye! You have until I'm done binge watching "Stranger Things". No spoilers, please.
Kurt: All of this to make us drop a bomb? I don't buy it.
Rich: No, but you know what you do buy is Pennsylvanian beer. So I think we've established that you have atrocious judgment. Now, hurry up, please. I'm already on episode seven. I can't believe they killed Barb. She is a smoke-show.

[a lady at Ahktar's party offers Jane Doe and Rich Dotcom a snort of cocaine]
Jane: No, no, thank you.
Rich: Well, I'm here...
Rich: [Dotcom snorts a line of coke from a serving tray] Oh, hello, old friend.

[the FBI informs Jane Doe on who Shohid Ahktar is]
Bethany: Shohid Ahktar, eight on the FBI's most wanted list.
Tasha: He's basically the bank for every major terrorist organization in the world.
Kurt: Bring him down, we'll cripple ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Dabbur Zahn.
Edgar: We don't even know what Ahktar looks like.

[Chief Inspector Fischer walks into Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair's office]
Chief: Good day, Assistant Director Mayfair.
Bethany: Chief Inspector Fischer, this can't be good.

[Agent Patterson as a friend tells Jane Doe that she can have her tattoos removed]
Patterson: As an agent, of course, I should tell you to keep them.
Jane: As... my friend?
Patterson: As your friend... I would say... it's your body. You should do what you want.

[Jane Doe pulls down her pants in front of Guerrero to match the topography map to the back of her calf]
Sal: Hmm! I was wondering when those tattoos would lead us to the treasure.
Jane: [Jane looks to Agent Reade] Lay this map over the back of my calf.
Edgar: It's an exact match. Only there's a red 'X' on your calf that isn't on the map.

[Rich Dotcom tells Agent Weller and Jane Doe about the inmates in prison]
Rich: These people are monsters in here and have, like, zero sense of humor. Also, the sex is surprisingly vanilla. I keep telling people, 'Hello, we're in prison.' 'What are you afraid of? Just get in there and go for it and just have some fun.' You know? I mean, treat me like a piece of meat.
Kurt: All right, enough.

[Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair disagrees with the unknown CIA Agent about what Jane Doe knows]
Thomas: Time is the last thing that we have. See, if your girl knows about Daylight, then who else does? And what do they know about us? What, you think it's a coincidence that she was gift-wrapped and delivered to your team? See, I don't like the proximity, and I don't like the question marks.
Bethany: Her mind was wiped. She's just a vessel for this information, that's all.
Thomas: What are you basing that on? What, a lie detector test and some psych evals? Just let me talk to her.
Bethany: I'm not handing her over to you so you can throw her in some cell and do whatever the CIA does to find things out.
Thomas: This doesn't have to be a straight favor. What do you need from me? Let's make a deal here.
Bethany: I need for you to get out of my office.
Thomas: So be it. Just remember this later... when everything's falling apart and you're asking yourself why, that I came to you first and tried to play nice. 'Cause the rest is on you.

[Jane Doe asks Oscar why was she chosen, why Taylor Shaw was chosen]
Jane: Why? Why me? Why Taylor?
Oscar: Weller.
Jane: What?
Oscar: Phase One: We wanted Mayfair out and didn't want her replaced by someone worse. The tattoos would take down our enemies and... give Kurt so many wins, he'd be the clear successor. And with Taylor Shaw in place right next to him, he'd be someone we could control. You were never supposed to have those flashbacks, though. Marcos was obviously a little too conservative with the dose. I won't make that mistake again, either.

[Agent Reade and Zapata watch Agent Weller shoot a hole through the ship door they're locked behind]
Edgar: [Reade see's the bullet hole Weller made] Oh, nice. Think we'd all fit through it?
Kurt: [when Weller points out a gas container] Let's hope that has gas in it?
Edgar: Wait, what?

[Jane Doe attempts to speak to the Russian spy Olivia Delidio in questioning]
Jane: [in Russian] Let me help you. I know what it feels like to be alone and afraid. I was an orphan, too. The worst thing that can happen is not to have a home.
Jane: [in English] I know you love your children, and they mean more than any promise you could have made to Russia.
Olivia: My... children are my world.
Jane: Then do the right thing. Tell us everything.

[Agent Weller asks Agent Reade about his sister Sarah]
Kurt: Reade. You and Sarah, is it serious?
Edgar: Yeah. I wouldn't be with her if it wasn't.
Kurt: End it.

[first lines]
Oscar: [Jane Doe shows up to meet Oscar and their secret meeting location] I was starting to think you wouldn't show.
Jane: Well, you made it pretty clear I didn't have a choice. What do you want?

[Allison Knight and Agent Weller talk about the baby she's pregnant with]
Allison: The truth is, I'm not great at this stuff, okay? And I was scared. This is gonna be your kid, too... all right? I'm not looking for an answer any time soon, and I'm truly not suggesting that we get back together, 'cause I don't think we should, but... if you want to be a part of this kid's life, I will make sure that there is space for that to happen.
Kurt: You know what my mom used to say to me... when I was young? Before she took off. 'You're just like your father.'
Kurt: [Weller looks over to Allison] You're gonna be a great mom.

[Rich Dotcom sees Jane Doe and Agent Weller for the first time since his arrest]
Rich: Holy derby, you two look great.
Kurt: [Weller comments on Rich's bruises] Wish I could say the same.
Rich: What are you saying? I don't look tough? Are you kidding me? I got a glimpse of myself on the window here, I thought I looked pretty tough. I don't look tough?
Jane: No.

[Agent Weller finds out Allison Knight is pregnant outside of his apartment door]
Kurt: Can I buy you a drink?
Allison: Think I'll pass.
Kurt: What are you doing here? Is it about...
Allison: I'm pregnant.

[Agent Patterson comes up with a plan to stop the FBI from getting hacked]
Patterson: We can go analog. Disrupt the building's telecommunication lines. But we'd have to get physically as close to those wires' main point of entry.
Jane: Where is that?
Patterson: The main point of entry room.
Jane: No, I mean, where?
Patterson: That's what it's called. The MPOE room, the main point of entry.
Kurt: Alright, Abbott and Costello. I get it. How do we get there?

[CIA Agent Allison Knight tells the FBI that she needs their help on finding Bethany Mayfair]
Allison: Look, I like you guys. I do. Which is why I'm giving you this one last chance, 'cause if I find out later that you've kept something from me, you are all going down for aiding and abetting.
Edgar: We like you too, Allie.
Tasha: We'll let you know if she reaches out.

[the agents see the Dabbur Zann masked, sharpening their machetes, with camera equipment]
Edgar: Now I know why they kept us alive. So the whole world can see us die.

[Agent Reade tells Agent Zapata about his friend Freddy]
Edgar: [Reade sighs] Saw an old friend this morning. We went to football camp together as kids. Coach Jones ran it.
Tasha: Oh.
Edgar: Freddy's one of his victims. Guy's hanging on by a thread. I push him to open old wounds, promise him Jones will pay, and now the D.A.'s telling me there's no case.
Tasha: Sorry.
Edgar: Jones failed him, the system failed him, and now I failed him. What the hell do I tell this guy?
Tasha: The truth. What else is there?

[Agent Zapata makes a comment to Agent Reade about his relationship with Sarah Weller]
Tasha: So, Reade, is this the end of the great bromance?
Edgar: What are you talking about?
Tasha: You and Weller. Well, clearly, the Sarah thing is getting in the way, so you guys got to sort it out. You're making it weird for the whole team.
Edgar: Sarah and I broke up last night.

Rich: Okay, I cannot believe that that worked. My dark web sources confirm it; the bounty's been lifted and Jane is free and clear.
Kurt: What about Roman's phone? You unlocked it yet?
Stuart: Actually, yes, I have. It took a little doing, b...
Rich: Yes, but young Stuart was able to crack the phone's surprisingly simple encryption, and good news! Roman was telling the truth! He sold Patterson, Reade, and Zapata into slavery. I don't know why I said that's good news. That's obviously terrible news.
Kurt: So who bought them?
Rich: Oh, well, that's virtually impossible to figure out. Which makes it all the more impressive that I have.
Kurt: Rich.
Rich: See, first I had to figure out where the auction was taking place and then figure out who won by eliminating who lost...
Kurt: He's worse than Patterson.

[last lines]
Tasha: [CIA Deputy Director Tom Carter approaches Agent Zapata on the street] I gave you the file, that was the deal. This is over.
Thomas: [Tom Carter chuckles] But, little lady. But you already took my money. You already sold out your friends. If I tell the FBI what you've done... you won't just be fired, you'll be indicted. This is over when I say it's over. You're mine now, Agent Zapata. So you take care.

[Agent Zapata and Agent Reade discuss on how Jane Doe is a pawn]
Tasha: Mayfair's dead because of her. I wouldn't give her too much credit.
Edgar: What do you mean?
Tasha: She lied to us, she's...
Edgar: She's a pawn. She was a pawn for Sandstorm, now she's a pawn for us. Pawns get sacrificed. I almost feel sorry for her.
Tasha: [Zapata gives Reade the look] Uh, be easy. I said 'almost.'

[Agent Weller suggests to the team that they evacuate East Side Manhattan]
Kurt: We need to consider evacuating.
Patterson: Evacuating what? The entire East Side of Manhattan?
Edgar: Yeah, what are we supposed to tell 'em? Go to the West Side?

[Oscar tells Jane Doe that she needs to get closer to Agent Weller]
Oscar: We need you to get closer to Weller.
Jane: What do you mean closer?
Oscar: We didn't anticipate him getting back together with Allie.
Jane: You want me to break them up?
Oscar: We need you to be the one person he trusts the most.

[Agent Reade discusses the case of the masked thieves with Agent Zapata]
Edgar: They're known as the Candymen.
Tasha: What?
Edgar: Because of their brightly-colored masks. They're an international heist crew. Interpol has a file on them that's like three inches thick. They've hit jewelry stores all over the States, Paris, Monaco, Dubai, Hong Kong. The past two years, they've walked off with over $70 million dollars in gems and precious metals.
Tasha: This three-inch file... does it happen to mention who they are?
Edgar: No, they're good. Masks, in and out under a minute every time. Until today.

[Agent Naz tells the FBI team that they need to find Kingston as Agent Patterson gets snappy]
Nas: Look, we can't worry about that right now. Kingston's about to sell the Juarez Cartel enough firepower to start a war. We need to find him and fast.
Patterson: Can't you just use your magic phone?
Nas: Excuse me?
Patterson: Oh, does it stop working if they ditch their plates?
Kurt: Patterson... stop it.

[Agent Patterson is unhappy for not being able to aid and abet Bethany Mayfair with Agent Reade and Agent Zapata]
Edgar: The silent treatment, really? That's how we're playing this?
Tasha: We said we were sorry.
Patterson: I tell you guys everything!
Tasha: We were aiding and abetting a fugitive. We were just trying to keep you out of it.
Patterson: You were aiding and abetting Mayfair. Mayfair! I am happy to aid and abet Mayfair.

[Chief Inspector Fischer tells Agent Patterson that she's suspended indefinitely]
Patterson: I'm not asking for forgiveness. I will never forgive myself for what happened.
Patterson: [Fischer sighs as Patterson tears up] Oh. Please just... if I'm gonna be able to keep going, I need to find the people who did this, the people who tattooed Jane. Please. This job is all that I have.
Chief: No. It's all you had.

[Chief Inspector Fischer polygraph tests Dr. Borden]
Chief: Is your mother Russian?
Dr. Borden: No.
Chief: I'm sorry, it says here in your file that your mother is one-eight Russian. Is that a clerical error?
Dr. Borden: She's seven-eights English.
Chief: Oh... but she is Russian?
Dr. Borden: Yes.

[Oscar tells Jane Doe what he really wants with her]
Oscar: We're all making sacrifices.
Jane: What 'sacrifices' are you making?
Oscar: You think this is what I want? We were... Do you have any idea how hard it is to meet with you and not touch you and not tell you that I love you? You think I want you getting closer to him?
Jane: I don't know what you want.
[when the two start to kiss and get undress]

[Chief Inspector Fischer grills Agent Patterson for taking work home with her]
Chief: When was the first time you removed classified documents from the FBI's New York office, what did you do with these documents once you removed them, and were you aware at the time you were breaking federal law.
Patterson: I mean, look... everyone brings their work home with them sometimes.
Chief: They do? Who else is bringing classified documents home with them?
Patterson: No, I just...
Chief: You just said everyone brings their work home with them sometimes. Can you give me some examples? Then would you like to revise your statement?

[Agent Weller and Agent Zapata question Officer Timothy Eavers about the Ronnie Vargas case]
Timothy: My memory's bad. Do you know how many cases I see in a day?
Kurt: A man is about to be put to death.
Timothy: And I'm sorry about that.
Kurt: Tomorrow. Lethal injections aren't as painless as they make them out to be.
Tasha: If they get the dosage wrong it can take a while.

[Agent Weller tries to help Jane Doe feel comfortable by asking her to go out with the team]
Kurt: Jane... Jane, if you ever wanna come and have a drink with the team...
Jane: No, I... it's a little hard to relax when everybody at the table has been staring at photos of your tattooed body, all day.
Kurt: What about Sarah?
Jane: Your sister? Her last name is on my back. Look, I appreciate everything that you've done for me, everything that you're doing. But I just... I don't know, I... I need room to breathe.

[first lines]
Jane: [in a flashback, Jane Doe sees her herself try to save Bethany Mayfair] No, please, you can't die.
Bill: [in a flashback, Agent Weller sees his father confess to murdering Taylor Shaw] Where is she? What - What did I do? She's under the fort, Kurt. It was an accident. I didn't mean to... I didn't... She was so small.

[Kurt Weller talks to his sister about their father]
Sarah: Well, just glad you guys are talking again.
Kurt: Yeah.
Sarah: And all it took was a terminal illness and return of a murdered girl to bring the Weller family back together again.
Kurt: That's not funny.
Sarah: [Sarah smiles] Yeah... I mean, it's a little funny.

[Dr. Sparacino and her lab assistant prepare to operate on Charlie Napier's brain]
Lab: Aren't we gonna put him all the way under?
Dr. Lindsay Sparacino: No... I need to monitor his brain activity and conscious responses.
Lab: You don't have enough - He'll be dead in ten minutes.
Dr. Lindsay Sparacino: That's enough time. We get this serum right, we change the face of modern warfare.

[Agent Weller holds a meeting for the FBI team to solve the questions surrounding Jane Doe]
Kurt: Who is Jane Doe? And why was she dropped in Times Square for us to find? And why the hell is my name tattooed on her back? All right, Reade, Zapata, you're on my case histories. Now, you find out if anyone that I put away got out of prison recently. I don't recall any similar M.O's, but I could be missing something. As for this Jane Doe, let's try to squeeze some blood out of that stone.

[first lines]
Jane: [Jane Doe jogs while having flashbacks from the last few weeks] 'What is Orion?'
Oscar: [Jane sees Oscar tell about Orion] 'Orion is where you died. It was an operation. Things went sideways, you went off the grid.'
Jane: 'I don't understand.'
Oscar: 'Orion is why you're here. Why we're all here. But I can't tell you more. Not yet.'
Ruggedly: [Jane sees the ruggedly handsome man] 'You can't trust them.'
Bethany: [Jane sees Mayfair talk about the FBI] 'They trust you, so I trust you.'
Jane: [Jane sees her old self] 'You did this to yourself. You did this to yourself.'

Kurt: The doctors are still checking on Nas. She seems okay.
Jane: Any idea who attacked her?
Kurt: [shaking his head] Shepherd must've caught wind that Nas's source had reached out. And wanted to stop Nas from getting this.
[taking out a flash drive and handing it to Patterson]
Kurt: It's yours. Whatever's on that was worth killing or dying for. So it must be big.

Kurt: How exactly did you crack the Bible verse tattoo? You told me on the phone you picked up the phrase on some chatter.
Patterson: You're never this interested in how I solve the tattoos.
Kurt: This one points to an off-the-book program being run out of this office, so I need to know what is happening under my watch, and I need to know now.
Patterson: Uh, okay. I linked the tattoo database to a secret NSA data collection program.
Kurt: Omaha? Nas told me it's very similar to Daylight.
Patterson: Daylight on steroids is more accurate.
Kurt: So you've been using illegal wiretaps to solve these tattoos?
[Patterson is reluctant to say anything]
Kurt: [losing his patience] Patterson.
Patterson: This was the first one.
Kurt: Really?
Patterson: I know. It's just I have to use every resource that I have. We're running out of time to figure out what all of this adds up to.
Kurt: That is my call to make, not yours. Understand?

[Shepherd tells Jane Doe about her past]
Shepherd: You were born in Pretoria, South Africa. Your real name is Alice Kruger.
Shepherd: [Jane sees the flashback of her past] Your birth parents were antiapartheid activists. The government had them killed... in your own home. You were forced into a secret academy, an orphanage, where they trained innocent children to become deadly soldiers. Operatives for the state.
Shepherd: Of course, you excelled. But when apartheid fell, so did the academy. I was one of the American soldiers who liberated you. Most of the children were placed in foster care, but you and your brother... were too dangerous. Too special. No one could handle you. So I chose to raise you myself.
Jane: Wait...
Shepherd: You wanted new names... to distance yourself from a past you wanted to forget. We chose them together. Roman... and Remi.
[Shepherd looks to Jane]

[Jane Doe returns to meet Oscar after replacing Mayfair's pen with a new pen like he asked]
Oscar: Good work.
Jane: How do you know it's hers? If they were really the same...
Oscar: I know.
Jane: And I know why you gave me this mission.
Oscar: You do?
Jane: It was a test of my loyalty, and I passed.

[last lines]
Kurt: [Agent Weller takes off the fake wedding ring Jane had to wear undercover] We should probably take those things off.
Jane: Oh. Right, heh.
[Jane see's a flashback of the man with a tree tattoo, who she takes off a ring for, handing it to him]
Man: You don't have to do that.
Jane: Yes... I do.

[Jane Doe sees Agent Weller stuffing the Uno Attack board game into his work locker]
Jane: [Jane chuckles] Uno Attack? Sounds intense.
Kurt: Yeah. Sawyer is the reigning champ in our house.
Jane: Must be killing you that you're not the best at something.
Kurt: Don't you worry. I'm gonna knock that kid off his throne tonight.

[Jane Doe fights with Oscar as she threatens to arrest him]
Jane: I'm bringing you in. No more secrets and no more lies! You're under arrest.
Oscar: You're not FBI. You hate the FBI! This entire government betrayed you.
Jane: I... am bringing you in.

[Rich Dotcom asks Jane Doe if there's a Mr. Doe she's dating]
Rich: So I take it you don't date very often? There's no Mr. Doe in your life? No tattooed knave with a heart of gold? You know, this new prison is going to allow conjugal visits. I just want to float that out there on this new idea cloud and...
[as Jane faces Dotcom's head back on the computer screen]

[Agent Weller and Sarah Weller fight about their father killing Taylor Shaw]
Sarah: Why would he bury her in our backyard?
Kurt: His shoes were muddy that night.
Sarah: If you kill a girl, you don't bury her in your own backyard!
Kurt: If that's what you've done, if that's really the kind of person that you are, there's no telling what else you might do.

[while dancing Jane Doe asks Agent Weller about being married]
Jane: Have you... ever been married?
Kurt: No. Never married. I'm too choosey.
[Jane smiles with her head down]

[Agent Weller calls and leaves Jane Doe a voice mail]
Kurt: I gotta tell you. My, uh... My father died last night. I wanted to tell you, because, um... Because...
Kurt: [Weller chuckles] I don't know, uh... No, I do know why. When things happen to me in my life... you're the first person I think about. And you always have been. I guess...
Kurt: [Weller sniffles] I just wanted to hear your voice. Hear you... tell me everything's gonna be okay. I'm really glad you're back in my life, Taylor. I, um...
Kurt: [Weller chuckles, clearing his throat] Just, um... Just call me back. Bye.

Edgar: I, uh... I want to apologize for flying off the handle, throwing my badge down, messing up in the first place.
Kurt: It wasn't your finest hour.
Edgar: I was pissed off. At the world, at Zapata, at you.
Kurt: You still pissed off?
Edgar: I'm ready not to be.
Kurt: I can't just hand back your badge.
Edgar: I know. Um... I was hoping I could take you up on that offer to take a leave of absence.
Kurt: If I give you the time, I need you to put everything into it. Clean up. See Dr. Sun. Hit the gym. Hit the range. Get back to field shape.
Edgar: I will.
Kurt: I never reported you up the chain. If you come back a hundred percent, as far as I'm concerned, I never have to.
Edgar: Thank you. I won't let you down.
Kurt: I know you won't.

[Chief Inspector Fischer polygraph tests Agent Patterson]
Chief: [about her boyfriend] Did you order the death of David Wagner?
Patterson: No.
Chief: Do you feel responsible for the death of David Wagner?
Patterson: Yes.

[the FBI team investigates the painting stolen from the art gallery]
Jane: The burning rose.
Patterson: That's right. Thee burning rose. This is nearly an exact depiction of one of the most prominent tattoos on your body. The thief walked past paintings worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and ripped this one right out of the frame.

[Agent Patterson tells Agent Weller about having one of Jane's teeth]
Kurt: All right, what am I looking at?
Patterson: Molecules of coltan, which is short for columbite-tantalite.
Kurt: [Weller makes a joke] My favorite of all the tantalites.
Patterson: They're trace isotopic elements I found in Jane's tooth.
Kurt: You pulled one of Jane's teeth?
Patterson: Well, I-I-I took the one that was knocked out in the fight at the safe house.
Kurt: Right.
Patterson: I mean, it was too good to resist. The human tooth is - Is a goldmine of genetic information. Besides, it's not like she can put it back in.

[Roman asks Shepherd if he can go out and shadow Jane Doe for protection]
Roman: Cade's still out there. She just spent three months in a hole. She's too fragile to just...
Shepherd: If there's one thing your sister is not, it's fragile.
Roman: I will be invisible, I promise. She protected me my whole life. If I can help...
Shepherd: Is this about you or her? I won't have you risking this mission. Stay away from her, Roman. Let your sister do her job.

[Jane Doe asks for Oscar's help to stop Cade]
Jane: How do we stop Cade?
Oscar: We?
Jane: Yeah, you and me. I can't go back and risk endangering my team while he's still trying to come after me like this.
Oscar: We kill him. People like Cade don't stop for less.

[Agent Reade tells Sarah Weller he can no longer be with her]
Edgar: Um... Sarah, I've been thinking a lot... about what you said to me earlier, and it made me realize... I don't feel the same way.
Sarah: What?
Edgar: I can't do this anymore.
Sarah: Is this because of Kurt, I mean, he... Like, he doesn't...
Edgar: No, this isn't about Kurt. You don't know me, and... I've got issues.
Sarah: I don't believe you. I know you. And I know that you love me, too.
Edgar: No, I don't. I'm sorry, Sarah.

[Agent Weller gives Jane Doe a compliment]
Kurt: [Weller walks into the room] You were very brave today. Stupid... but brave.
Jane: I think there was a compliment in there somewhere.
Kurt: [Weller smiles and mutters] Yeah.

[Agent Zapata and Agent Reade discuss Agent Weller and Jane Doe having dinner together at Weller's place]
Tasha: I never even seen his place.
Edgar: You haven't? I have.
Tasha: When?
Edgar: Dropped a file off over there once. Saw the lobby.
Tasha: You two are real close. Dinner.
Edgar: If it makes you feel any better you can have dinner over at my place.
Tasha: I don't wanna eat cold pizza in your weak-ass apartment.
Edgar: Fine, stay at home with your cats loser.

[Jane Doe asks Oscar what Phase Two is]
Oscar: This country is on the brink of collapse. Has been for decades. This government doesn't care about the people. It's too broken, too corrupt. Phase Two is about burning it to the ground so that we can start again. Only from the ashes can we rise. You promised you'd love me no matter what. I'm really sorry this is what it's gonna take.

[Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair tells Agent Weller the FBI has a mole]
Bethany: Olivia Delidio was just killed at her arraignment.
Kurt: By who?
Bethany: Her lawyer. Right before she was about to name a Russian intelligence source.
Kurt: She was being silenced. What have we got on the lawyer.
Bethany: The lawyer's dead, too. All we have is the location of the source.
Kurt: Where?
Bethany: Here. The NYO has been compromised. The FBI has a mole.

Patterson: Yesterday, Sandstorm targeted seven buildings simultaneously.
Edgar: All government facilities.
Patterson: There's gotta be some other connection that we're just not seeing.
Jane: Maybe we're asking the wrong questions. I mean, what does Shepherd want?
Edgar: Besides mass terror?
Patterson: Today's meeting. At the White House, the president's holding a full Cabinet meeting to discuss security protocols.
Edgar: Just like they always do after every major attack.
Patterson: Right, but what if yesterday's attack were a catalyst? To get all of our leaders together in the same room?
Jane: So she can wipe out the government.
Edgar: I'll update Hirst, we'll brief the president, order a full evacuation. Start digging into the attack plan.

[Agent Weller tells Jane Doe he still believes in hope]
Kurt: If your coming back has taught me anything, it's to never give up hope.

[Kurt Weller learns the truth of where his father was the night Taylor Shaw went missing]
Kurt: Why were your shoes muddy? You thought I was asleep. I wasn't. I saw you hosing off your shoes when you got him.
Bill: [Bill sighs] I didn't... She's alive, Kurt.
Kurt: Then why did you lie about where you were?
Bill: Because I was trying to kill myself!
Bill: [Bill cries looking into Kurt's face] I was depressed for a long time. And I had thought about it before but I just couldn't. And finally, I just had enough, and I drove to the Susquehanna, and I walked... I walked in. And then I just couldn't shake this image.
Kurt: What image?
Bill: You and Sarah... at my funeral. What - What you'd be wearing, where you'd be sitting. So I just, uh... got back in the car and drove home.
Kurt: In muddy shoes.

[Allison Knight asks Agent Weller to come over for dinner]
Allison: I was thinking about being ambitious and cooking.
Kurt: Whoa! Really? After last time.
Allison: That fire was not entirely my fault. Someone got me a little distracted...
Kurt: [Weller laughs] Yeah! You tried to heat up a pizza inside the box, inside the oven.

[Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair tells Agent Zapata about the enemies you make]
Bethany: The longer you stay in this job, the more enemies you'll make.

[Agent Patterson and Dr. Borden prepare to protect themselves at the cottage]
Patterson: Do you have a gun?
Dr. Robert Borden: No, I don't have anything that would qualify as a weapon.
Patterson: [Patterson looks at the pile of construction mess] Uh, I have my sidearm and a spare clip, and this is all looking promising. We could use some of this to kill someone.
Dr. Robert Borden: All right, I'll take that as a good thing.

[Oscar reveals to Jane Doe that he has to wipe her memory again]
Oscar: I'm sorry I failed you. I don't blame you for hating me. All I can do is promise that... I won't make the same mistakes next time.
Jane: Next time? What are you talking about?
Oscar: The mission can't continue like this. Our relationship is too compromised. So... I've decided to start from scratch.
Jane: [Oscar opens a medicine kit] Oscar...
Oscar: I'm sorry. I have to wipe your memory again.

[Jane Doe and Agent Weller question each other about her not being Taylor Shaw]
Jane: Why didn't you tell me? I believed I was Taylor Shaw because I... had no reason to doubt...
Kurt: Because I didn't want it to be true. I wanted you to be Taylor. More than anything. I guess they knew that. How did you get the memories? Of fishing with me and my father.
Jane: They told me I was her. Oscar gave me photos... and said to lie... and say that I remembered them.
Kurt: Why did you?
Jane: Because I... I wanted it to be true. Because I wanted to be Taylor. More than anything.

[last lines]
Shepherd: [Shepherd and Roman discuss on whether Jane's telling them the truth or not] Do you believe her?
Roman: Of course.
Shepherd: Something feels off.
Roman: We erased her memory and then sent her into a lion's den. She was kidnapped and tortured for three months. I'd be a little off, too. My sister's still in there... I'm positive.
Shepherd: I'm not.
Roman: Then activate our mole in the FBI. Have them tell you.
Shepherd: No... not yet. It's too dangerous. Everyone will be watching. Do it too soon, and we risk burning them for later, when we really need them. For now, that's the ace we need to hold onto. Don't worry.

[Agent Weller lectures Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair on her lies]
Kurt: You're the case! So what else do you know that you're not telling me.
Bethany: Nothing.
Kurt: And why should I believe you? Do you understand what you have done.
Bethany: Believe me, right or wrong, I understand.

[Jane Doe meets Shepherd]
Shepherd: It's so good to see you again.
Jane: You're...
Shepherd: [Shepherd smiles] I'm Shepherd. I'm your mother.

[Agent Patterson tells the team what she finds with the Steganography tattoo]
Patterson: It's a classic puzzle trick. The dead space is always a clue.
Bethany: Do you know what it means yet?
Patterson: I mean, it looks like a turtle shell, but that's not very helpful. I mean, maybe it's a substitution cypher using grid fragments, but that could take days to decode, or longer.
Bethany: So, no?
Patterson: Not yet. But we're on it.
Jane: You're saying every one of these tattoos could have a double meaning?
Patterson: Or triple. Or more.

[Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair remembers the last time she tried to reach out to Deputy White House Political Director Sophia Varma, her secret lover]
Sophia: [in a flashback, we see Varma look at the incoming call but let's it go to voicemail] Hi, this is Sophia Varma. Please leave a message.
Bethany: Hi, it's me again. I... I know you don't want to talk right now, but, I just wanted to know that you're okay. I'm worried about you. Call me. Bye.
[We see Mayfair cry at her computer as she reads about the suicide of Sophia Varma]

Kurt: We will get them back.
Jane: And then what?
Kurt: What do you mean?
Jane: We just gonna go back to how it was?
Kurt: Well, with these new tattoos, I'm guessing they're probably gonna want us to move back to New York. As far as you and me, yeah. I was hoping it goes back to how it was.
Jane: Leaving you and the life we had together was... the hardest thing I've ever done.
Kurt: But?
Jane: But once I was gone, I... there were some parts of me that woke up again. Parts of me I didn't even realize I was missing. Life in Colorado was amazing. I... I had you, I... I had peace. I just... I didn't have a purpose. Some way of defining myself outside of you. Outside of us.
Kurt: And you found that? Out there? So what do you want now?

[Jane Doe finds Oscar back at their meeting location, after she lost him when he fell in the water]
Oscar: The water's actually not that bad once you're in.
Oscar: [Jane runs up to Oscar almost hugging him] Wow you almost seemed happy to see me for a second.
Jane: What happened?
Oscar: You're not the only one who can hold their breath.

[Jane Doe tells Agent Weller that she missed him when she didn't arrive at work]
Jane: I missed you today. I missed being out with the team.
Kurt: The team missed you, too. You're one of us now.

[Agent Reade tells Assistant DA Gail Brown that his friend Freddy will testify against Coach Jones]
Edgar: Do you have any idea how many children Jones could have hurt over the past two decades?
Gail: No! Because none of them will go on the record.
Edgar: Freddy will! He's sober. He's gainfully employed.
Gail: Freddy's sober now. He's employed now. He was neither of those things two months ago. What happens in another two months when he falls apart again and I need him on the stand?
Edgar: Which is exactly why we need to do this! Freddy is the very example of what Jones has done to these guys. Don't you understand that?
Gail: I know it's not justice, but neither is taking this guy to court and losing.

[Agent Weller asks for Tracy Warren's help with finding the Warren baby]
Tracy: Do you know what it's like... to have no hope and then get it back again?
Kurt: They're not growing tissue. They're growing children. With surrogates. Mrs. Warren, you came here to help this baby. Your baby. We need that address.

[Agent Weller and Jane Doe interrogate Charlie Napier]
Kurt: What's the last thing you do remember?
Sgt. Charlie Napier: A dungeon. Flames.
Kurt: And where was this dungeon?
Jane: [Charlie hesitates] Charlie, where were you?
Sgt. Charlie Napier: I was in hell... being tortured by the Devil.

[Jane Doe asks Agent Weller what is she supposed to do next]
Jane: What am I supposed to do now? I mean... ever since I came out of that bag I've woken up with a purpose. I come here. We save the world.
Jane: [Weller laughs] And then I go home. And what do I do when I wake up tomorrow?
Kurt: Whatever you want.

[Jane Doe thanks Agent Weller for accepting her]
Jane: Thank you for what you said earlier... about my instincts.
Jane: [Weller remains quiet] And for everything.
Kurt: What happened to you was horrible, Jane. Good can come of it.

[Agent Zapata sits in a car beside CIA Deputy Director Thomas Carter]
Tasha: What's that?
Thomas: Oh, this is a very expensive... very sensitive surveillance device. If you stick it inside of a lamp or light switch, it can power itself from radial heat, so it continues to broadcast indefinitely.
Tasha: So it's a bug?
Thomas: It's a work of art. And I want it inside Jane's safe house.
Tasha: No.
Thomas: You don't say no to me. See, I want this up and running inside of 24 hours, or you're not gonna like the tone of my voice anymore.

[Agent Zapata calls the FBI stupid for not believing Bethany Mayfair]
Tasha: I don't know what pisses me off more - They think she's a killer or that they think she's that stupid.

[Chief Inspector Fischer accuses Jane Doe of being the Russian mole]
Chief: Your polygraph is practically a straight line. I've seen sociopaths with more spikes. The truth is, you were kidnapped at the age of five. You were trafficked to Russia, you were taught the language. You were taught to lie, you were trained to fight.
Chief: [Jane see's the flashback of her training] And then sent back to the United States to infiltrate the FBI. Reade suspected it, but Carter proved it. And he and Agent Patterson's boyfriend were murdered over it.
Chief: [Jane see's the flashback to Carter being murdered and Wagner's dead body] You actually spoke Russian to a fellow Russian spy in this very room. Olivia Delidio recognized you.
Chief: [Jane see's the flashback of her talking in Russian to Olivia Delidio] But before she could name you, your handlers had her killed. It's over, Jane Doe. Now, isn't part of you a little relieved?

Cade: I'll be honest, I didn't think you were gonna come through on your promise.
Nas: I'll be honest, I wasn't sure if I was going to, either. But you held up your end. So... where will you go?
Cade: Anywhere but here.
Nas: You don't have to. You could stay and fight. Shepherd is still out there with an army behind her, determined to strike. We need all the help we can get.
Cade: Well, when you put it that way, it sounds so appealing.
Nas: You and I both want the same thing, Cade. To stop Shepherd from destroying our country.
Cade: The same country that tried to cover up my father's death? What, you think I was doing this for America? I only defected because Shepherd became what she was fighting against.
Nas: Well, then stay for revenge. For what she did to you, what she did to Markos.
Cade: You don't get it. Shepherd, her army, her plans, they can't be stopped.
Nas: I thought you said you didn't know any details of Phase Two.
Cade: I don't. I know Shepherd. And when Phase Two begins, I wanna be far, far away. Trust me. When it goes down, you will, too.

[last lines]
Jane: [Jane nervously asks the FBI agents out for a beer who dropped her off at home] Um... do you guys want to go out somewhere. Grab a beer, maybe?
Jane's: Sorry, Ma'am, we're not permitted to take you to an unsecured location.
Jane: Right, um, well, what about coming in for a drink? Just one.
Jane's: Sorry, Ma'am. But we can have a bottle sent up if you'd like?
Jane: No, that's, um... thanks anyways.

[hacker Ana Montes comments on Agent Patterson's Perl language program]
Ana: Maybe if you were writing in Python instead of Perl, you'd move faster.
Patterson: What's wrong with Perl?
Ana: Nothing... if you're designing a website in the late 90's.
Patterson: Whatever.
Ana: [Patterson changes the Perl programming language to Python] I see you switching.
Patterson: I was gonna switch anyway.

[Agent Weller tells Agent Zapata that he doesn't like working with Jane anymore than she does]
Kurt: Every tattoo on Jane's body has come from Sandstorm. The only difference now is we know who's behind the curtain.
Tasha: What if it's a setup? What if Jane's tattoo is leading us into a trap?
Kurt: Jane was the trap. All right? We already fell into it. She played us. Look, I don't like working with her any more than you do. I don't like being in the same room as her. But... it's the only way to end this.
[as Weller turns around to see Jane behind him]

[Dr. Borden talks to Jane about her safe house apartment break-in]
Dr. Borden: A break-in is an intimate violation. But this is a real chance for us to...
Jane: I've been drugged. My memory has been erased. My entire body has been tattooed without my consent. A break-in at my safe house is the least intimate of my violations.
Dr. Borden: And feelings of anger, feelings of resentment are all completely natural. Do you feel safe, Jane?
Jane: I can handle myself.
Dr. Borden: I can see that. It's not what I asked. Do you trust the FBI to keep you safe?

[Jane Doe makes a joke about a pen being the reason she had her memory wiped]
Jane: So you wipe my memory, you tattoo my entire body, and then you send me to the FBI so I can steal a pen.
Jane: [Oscar chuckles] What?
Oscar: You're still - You're still you.

[Agent Patterson talks to Jane Doe about how much she loved David]
Patterson: I just wish I could relive the last few weeks.
Jane: Hey. You can't think like that.
Patterson: I mean, David was right. We were... we were great together. And I was just scared.
Jane: You had no idea any of this was gonna happen.
Patterson: I wasted so much energy on why it wouldn't work, when I could've been... I loved him. And - And I - He was right in front of me, and I should've just held onto him. Instead, I just pushed him away. And now, he's gone.
Jane: [Jane holds Patterson to her chest] Here.
Patterson: [Patterson cries into Jane's shoulder] I don't know how I could've gotten through today without all of you.

[Dr. Borden asks Agent Weller if he has anything he'd like to share in their session together]
Kurt: If I had to say, if their starting pitching holds up, I think the Pirates will make it back to the playoffs.
Dr. Robert Borden: Oh, but that's a very big 'if.' I mean their rotation's pretty thin.
Kurt: [Weller makes a pitching motion] That's why I'm keeping my arm in shape. Never know when the front office is gonna call.

[Agent Patterson tells Agent Nas that they need her help with the encrypted fragments]
Patterson: A lot of the ORION files are still encrypted.
Tasha: Like this one. Pixel fragments. It's like trying to fit together a million jigsaw pieces that are all the same shape.
Patterson: I've been trying to write a program that'll sort, analyze, and reassemble everything, pixel by pixel, but it... Whatever. It's a little involved. Our binary system here is having some problems with the raw data.
Nas: So...
Patterson: So... I was kind of sort of hoping that you could give us access to the NSA's quantum computer farm.
Nas: Our quantum server farm doesn't technically exist.
Patterson: [Patterson chuckles] Well, heh, right. But, technically, neither do you.

[Jane Doe looks at one of her own tattoos with the other agents, noticing the Chinese characters tattooed behind her left ear]
Kurt: [Jane begins speaking Chinese] So, you speak Chinese.
Jane: That's an address and a date. Today's date.
Kurt: [the scene cuts to Weller and the rest of the team investigating the address] That was right under our nose.
Edgar: Behind her ear, actually.

Kurt: [recapturing Rich after an escape attempt] You really thought it'd be that easy?
Rich: But how?
Boston: [Patterson gives them a wave] The lab lady?
Patterson: Hi.
Rich: I thought she had a concussion.
Kurt: [flashback to after the bomb blast] She good? Let's get back to the team.
Patterson: I've got a better idea.
[back to present]
Patterson: I never went to the infirmary. I went on a crab hunt.
Boston: How did you know I was still alive?
Patterson: It was your death story.
Rich: [flashback] He died in my arms, on the beach. "Such a beautiful place to die with you."
Patterson: It's how Dobby dies in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows".
Boston: You made me Dobby the house-elf? Even in those books, there's thousands of characters...
Rich: Everybody loves Dobby. What's your problem?

[Agent Zapata asks Agent Patterson if she wants to play a game]
Tasha: Hey, Patterson. You want to play a game?
Patterson: Love games.
Tasha: Don't get too excited. It's not one of your wizard and elf games that take four hours to finish.
Patterson: Well, D&D doesn't ever really finish.

[NSA Agent Nas Kamal introduces herself to Jane Doe]
Nas: I need you to be completely honest with me. That's the only way that this is going to work.
Jane: What makes you think I'll tell you anything?
Nas: You managed to escape, unaided, from a CIA black site in Oregon two weeks ago. I think it's fair to categorize you as resourceful. You could be halfway around the world right now, but instead, you chose to hide in Camden, New Jersey, two hours away from here. You didn't run 'cause you're not finished. You want to find them. Well, so do I. It'll be nearly impossible to keep the CIA from finding out that we've recaptured you. And if they do take you back into custody... they'll keep you somewhere that you will never break out of. Give me a reason to hold them off. You work with us, earn your freedom. Help us bring down the people who put you here.

[Agent Zapata asks Agent Reade if he's talked to his friend Freddy]
Tasha: You gonna talk to Freddy?
Edgar: Can't we just stop another missile attack or something?
Tasha: You did your best. He'll know that.
Edgar: Thanks, Zapata.

[Jane Doe talks to Dr. Borden about feeling pushed away by Agent Weller]
Dr. Borden: It sounds to me like you articulated your desire for space.
Jane: It didn't go very well.
Dr. Borden: Well, setting boundaries is challenging. Even in more conventional relationships, people struggle to balance intimacy and autonomy. You and Agent Weller have an...
Jane: Unconventional relationship, yeah. You didn't tell Weller what we talked about this morning, did you?
Dr. Borden: Jane, our sessions are confidential. Whatever you share, it stays here. What makes you ask that?
Jane: Because he's pushing me away.
Dr. Borden: And that upsets you? Perhaps Agent Weller is feeling the same need for boundaries.

[Roman asks for Shepherd to activate their source in the FBI]
Shepherd: You need to keep your elbows in and your shoulders down. You're wasting energy, and you're telegraphing every hit. She's gonna be fine.
Roman: What if she isn't? It should be me out there. If I die, what does it matter? If something happens...
Shepherd: [Shepherd puts her hand to Roman's face] You're so sweet, Roman. But you can never do what she does.
Roman: Then activate our source in the FBI.
Shepherd: No. I won't risk burning our most valuable asset just to quell your anxiety.

[first lines]
Ruggedly: [the ruggedly handsome man wraps his arm around Jane Doe in her safe house apartment] Don't make a sound. Now, I'm gonna take my hand away, but I need you...
Ruggedly: [Jane begins fighting the ruggedly handsome man] Stop! Stop! I don't wanna hurt you.
Ruggedly: [Jane now wraps her arm around the ruggedly handsome man's neck] I came here to help!
Jane: How did you get in here?
Ruggedly: We... we avoid detection. It's part of our training.
Jane: [in a flashback, Jane see's herself smiling while she helps bandage the ruggedly handsome man's hand] You'll be fine.

[Jane Doe talks to Agent Weller after stopping the hackers at the FBI headquarters]
Jane: I don't know how to say this.
Kurt: It's okay. You can tell me.
Jane: Kurt, I, um... I totally beat you up the stairs.

[Chief Inspector Fischer questions Agent Weller about his kiss with Jane Doe]
Chief: Your sister was not particularly cooperative, but little Sawyer was very eager to tell us all about how he saw you and Auntie Taylor kissing outside your house.
Kurt: One kiss does not mean that we're romantically involved.
Chief: Is it getting hot in here, Agent Weller?
Kurt: I'm not the one wearing a three-piece suit.
Kurt: Well, some of us still respect the formality of this office.

[Agent Patterson confronts Jane Doe thanking her for catching David's killer]
Patterson: Thank you.
Jane: I wish that there was more that I could do.
Patterson: I thought that if - If I... solved this, and if I found his killer, I would feel, uh... I... But I feel the same. Just... empty. Like solving this didn't change anything. Is that what it's like for you? With the tattoos?
Patterson: [Jane nods her head yes] That's awful.

[Boston Arliss Crab slaps Rich Dotcom when they first see each other]
Boston: You do not get to call me out of the blue after five years of nothing and pretend like we're okay. We are not okay. You left me in Nice holding the bill for that horrifically vandalized hotel suite, and then I find out three weeks later, you're gallivanting around Rome with a woman. A woman?
Rich: A very beautiful, very famous woman. That's got to take some of the sting out of it. Or not.

Edgar: Okay, so we're gonna form...
Kurt: A joint task force. Solve the new tattoos and go after Roman.
Edgar: Yeah. Now, I can't force you guys to join, but...
Kurt: I'm in.
Tasha: Me, too.
Patterson: [everyone turns to look at her] I have a lot of people counting on me back in California.
Edgar: Come on, Patterson. You know I'll reinstate you in a heartbeat.
Patterson: [thinking about it] I will help you get set up, but after that, I'm gone.
Edgar: That's fine. We'll take it. All right, let's do it. Jane's waiting on us. Rich is gonna brief us in Stuart's lab.
Patterson: Uh, Stuart's lab? Since wh... wait, did you just say "Rich"?

[a bomb tech approaches the bag on the ground with a radiation meter in an empty Times Square]
Bomb: No signs of radiation. Commencing manual inspection. Nothing anomalous on the exterior. Okay, I'm gonna feel for wires, see what we're dealing with here.
Bomb: [the bag moves, frightening the bomb tech to take a step back] Aah! There's something in there!
[the bag unzips, as an arm reaches out, a female woman in the nude, covered in tattoos, steps out into the lit street]
Bomb: [the bomb tech screams] Turn around! On your knees! Hands on your head! Turn around! On your knees! Hands on your head! Are you guys seeing this?
[the unidentified woman turns around, kneels down, with her hands on her head, scared]

Shepherd: Hello. My name is Major General Ellen Briggs, but you can call me Shepherd. I am responsible for today's attacks on American soil, and so are you. This country was founded on fairness, integrity, but it's been corrupted. Our leaders have failed us. They will call me a terrorist for what I've done, but I am and always have been a patriot. This is a call to arms, to stand up, to fight, because true freedom cannot come without true sacrifice, because no matter what flag they wield, those who oppose that freedom are our enemy now. These chairs are for those we have lost and for those who will follow, who will take up the fight. This is the dawn of a new America. It's time to take back our country.

[Agent Patterson uses the Aldebaran clue to lead her to an antique shop]
Patterson: This is the only place within 300 miles with Aldebaran in the name.
David: [imaginary David talks to her outside the shop] I can't imagine why. I mean it just rolls off the tongue.

[Agent Patterson breaks down the puzzle of numbers on Jane Doe's body]
Patterson: So this ring of numbers is on Jane's upper thigh. And it's pi. Only it's not pi, some of the pieces are missing. And - Oh...
Patterson: [Patterson chuckles] 'Pieces of pi.' Anyway, here's where the gaps are. Now take the missing numbers, bunch of gobbletygook, until you take up these dots and arrows from underneath the numbers...
Edgar: Latitude and longitude.
Patterson: Exactly. The Dark Isles, a chain of inhabitant islands in the Black Sea.

[Chief Inspector Fischer accuses Jane Doe of murdering CIA Deputy Director Carter]
Chief: You're lying. You didn't go home after kissing Weller. You went after Carter, because he found out your secret. And then you killed him.
Jane: No, you're wrong. I am not a mole.
Chief: You're caught, Ms. Doe.
Jane: I'm telling you the truth, I didn't kill Carter.
Chief: No one's confirmed that Carter's even dead. Are you confirming that he's dead?

[Agent Weller gives Jane Doe his gun while in the hospital]
Jane: What are you doing?
Kurt: You're right, you need a gun.
Jane: What about you?
Kurt: Don't worry about me. I'll get another one.

[Agent Zapata learns about the death of CIA Deputy Director Carter]
Bethany: They found his car on a bridge in New Jersey, doors open, his ID laid out on the seat.
Tasha: Suicide?
Bethany: Unless that's what someone wants us to think?
Tasha: Who'd want him dead?
Bethany: 'Who wouldn't' might be a shorter list.

[the FBI team discusses on whether or not the hacker Ana Montes is telling the truth]
Tasha: She's got a healthy imagination, I'll give her that.
Patterson: She could be telling the truth. I mean, federal agencies hire hackers to red-team them all the time, it's how they find vulnerabilities in their security systems.
Edgar: She's 17.
Patterson: Yeah, for a hacker, she's in her prime.

[Agent Reade comments on Rich Dotcom getting away with stealing the Gardner paintings from the FBI]
Edgar: This guy's the dumbest genius or the smartest idiot I've ever met.

[Agent Reade tries to tell Agent Weller that he loves his sister]
Edgar: Look, I'm sorry it's your sister, and I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier, but I...
Kurt: Reade, don't.
Edgar: Kurt, I love her.
Kurt: [Weller pauses] This conversation... this is the problem. I can't have your personal life interfering with our work. All right?
Edgar: A little hypocritical, but okay.

[Agent Patterson, Agent Reade, and Agent Zapata break Bethany Mayfair's safe password]
Tasha: [the three agents look on the back of the painting] A snake, a dog, a pig, and a... mouse.
Edgar: No, it's a rat.
Tasha: A mouse, a rat. What is the difference?
Edgar: They're Chinese Zodiac signs.
Patterson: Oh, you're totally right! Weller's the snake, I'm the dog, Reade's the rat. And Zapata, you're the Pig.
Tasha: [Reade looks at Zapata] Shut up.
Edgar: [Reade laughs] I didn't say it. The Zodiac did. You do like ribs.

[Rich Dotcom tells the agents that they can only steal the Gardner paintings]
Rich: Ahktar is meticulous. These are the most prestigious paintings of the entire underground art world. He's gonna want to verify them himself.
Kurt: Fine, but we are FBI, so we don't need to steal them. We get a warrant and we arrest him.
Rich: Can we start assuming that criminals that have avoided capture their entire lives are just a titch smarter than you? Turner wears a kill switch around his neck. He even smells the word Fed, he presses a switch and the gallery incinerates, destroying all the art and any evidence that can lead to a conviction. Look, we can't arrest Turner, and we don't have time to make fakes, so if you wish to capture Ahktar, we need to steal the Gardner paintings.

[Agent Patterson tells the FBI team that Charlie Napier is the same guy in their database]
Patterson: Army poster child. Enlisted straight out of high school, sent every penny home to a single mother to help pay the bills.
Edgar: Are we sure it's the same guy?
Patterson: I've run this video through every biometric recognition scan we got. Face, voice, ear - It's him.
Jane: Ear, really?
Patterson: Oh, here's the treasure trove. You don't even want to know what I can do with an ear.

Kurt: What's your take on Hirst?
Patterson: She's super smart, a bit of a maverick. Uh, for instance, she plans to release Jane.
Kurt: Jane's leaving?
Patterson: She's thinking about it.
Kurt: Why?
Patterson: I might of, sort of... encouraged her to.
Kurt: Excuse me?
Patterson: She didn't choose this, Kurt. So if there's something that you wanna to say to her, I wouldn't put it off.

[FBI Director Pellington greets the interim Asst. FBI Deputy Director Weller]
FBI: Havin' fun yet? Just wanted to see how my interim Assistant Director is holding up.
Kurt: Much rather... be out there. Trying to prove Mayfair's innocence. Than stuck in here, shuffling papers.

[Agent Patterson helps Agent Reade and Agent Zapata with the license plates]
Patterson: You guys familiar with ALPR?
Edgar: Like the dog food?
Patterson: No, not... A-L-P-R-, Automatic License Plate Recognition. It tracks feeds from toll booth and road rule enforcement cameras. It's a mountain of data.

[Jane Doe arrives to talk to Oscar secretly]
Oscar: I was starting to wonder if you ever were gonna show.
Jane: You were wrong, they lifted my detail.
Oscar: Oh, yeah. Why'd you take four subways and three taxis to get here? They were tailing you.
Jane: Apparently so were you.
Oscar: I had to be sure you weren't followed. They're scared of you. And they should be.

Edgar: Riley's still claiming the satellite's un-hackable.
Patterson: Yeah, 'cause his ego's the same size as the moon he's trying to colonize.

Jake: This new layer of tattoos is even more complex and dense than the first one. Hidden letters, unknown patterns and number sequences, maps without labels or context. It appears that every inch of new ink on Ms. Doe contains hidden meanings. And I think the CIA should run the investigation this time.
Eleanor: [sarcastic] Shocking! And why is that?
Jake: Because we narrowly avoided a major national disaster when the FBI ran it last time.
Eleanor: We didn't avoid it, we stopped it. Besides, the CIA can't operate domest...
Edgar: Domestically? So far, this case has been global and you know that!
Edgar: All right, all right, look! Look! The reality is we need to work together on this one. Now, hear me out. This thing is plenty big for the both of us, so I propose a joint task force.

[Jane Doe and Agent Weller watch Catherine Napier reunite with her son]
Jane: Her son killed three people and all she wants to do is hug him.
Kurt: She got him back. That's all she cares about.
